20 January 2019 - God Happily Forgives Us Freely  - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon Notes

Praise and Worship songs performed:
  1. My Abba - New Creation Worship
  2. Let The Rain of Your Presence - Danny Chambers
  3. In Your Presence I Am Content

In Israel, the spring rains come during March and April. The winter rains come during October and November.
Recently, the winter rains came at record level in Israel and broke a 5 year drought.

God’s word comes to us as droplets of rain not even harming a flower and doesn’t drop all at once to crush us.

A rare winter snowstorm happened in Israel just a few days back.
God’s word says that God will wash our sins whiter than snow. Jesus’ shed blood has perfectly cleansed us.

Isaiah 55:7-13 - The Greek Word for “repent” is metanoia which means to change your mind.
Grace is unmerited favor. God’s word says that Grace is not of works if not it’s no longer grace. Grace is not the empowerment to obey God. Grace is unmerited favor.
God will freely and abundant forgive us because He sent Jesus to die for our sins instead.
It was God who loved His Son so much and yet He was willing to give Him up for us.
You can tell how much God loves us by how much He’s willing to give up for us.
Sometimes the style mars the act of giving freely. But God gives both freely and happily.
Make your life a life of sowing and you’ll always be harvesting.
When you receive God’s word, you’ll prosper wherever you go. Get under the rain of God’s word.
2019 is the year where you’ll receive Holy Spirit-anointed messages.
God will lead you from within by peace or lack of peace because He’s inside you. He will not lead you with a voice from outside. Always be led by peace.
Sometimes downsizing your lifestyle temporarily for the sake of having peace is better than struggling to live a life to impress people with a false appearance.
Be careful who you give weight to.
You’re lending weight (kavod) to whoever you talk about.
The Hebrew word for curse means to “make light”. When you ignore negative comments, you’re making light of them and they will not prosper.
Regarding your financial health: we must go from the land of debt, to the land of even, to the land of prosperity. Prioritize paying off your debts.
Children gravitate towards Jesus in the four gospels. They sit on His lap.
Children have a keen sense of intuition - they know if someone can be trusted or not.
Trees were made with branches raised to look like hands raised in worship to God.
The woman with an infirmity was bent over for 18 years (6+6+6 = the number of the Antichrist).
When Jesus healed her, the first face she saw was Jesus’ face. This year, it’s time to look up and look at Jesus’ face.
Your need is just the place for God’s supply.
The New Covenant of Grace is based on this clause: your sins and lawless deeds I will remember no more.
This is what activates God to lead you internally and to be your protector on a daily basis.
There is nothing for us to do except to believe that our sins have been forgiven. That’s the safety clause.
Some preachers are afraid that their congregation will go crazy and sin if they are told that all their sins are forgiven.
They are going by their own low thoughts and not the high thoughts of God.
Be courageous with the Gospel. Tell the world that they can receive total forgiveness of sins.
If your spouse is unfaithful, pray for a hedge of thorns around your spouse and around the third party.
Pray for yourself to be surrounded by favor. Don’t show that you’re desperate. Fight the battle by praying.
Instead of thorns you will have cypress trees (also known as fir trees - the ones that Christmas trees are made of. The first mention of this tree is when David made instruments from this tree).
Instead of pain, you will have songs of rejoicing this year.
Instead of the brier (causes pain and itchiness), you will have myrtle trees (beauty).
Be a blessing everywhere you go.

“Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to Yahweh, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will freely pardon. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,” says Yahweh. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain comes down and the snow from the sky, and doesn’t return there, but waters the earth, and makes it grow and bud, and gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so is my word that goes out of my mouth: it will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do. For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace. The mountains and the hills will break out before you into singing; and all the trees of the fields will clap their hands. Instead of the thorn the cypress tree will come up; and instead of the brier the myrtle tree will come up: and it will make a name for Yahweh, for an everlasting sign that will not be cut off.”” (Isaiah 55:7-13 WEB)

God the Father rejoices as He forgives us. The Father wants us to know how forgiven we are and how happy He is to forgive us. God’s thoughts are much higher than our thoughts.

Follow the leading of the Holy Spirit to reap your harvest

Joel 2:23-26 - Former rain (yoreh) is the season of autumn (October - November) and latter rain (malqosh) is the season of spring (March - April).
Yoreh (also means arrow in Hebrew) and moreh (means teacher).
A teacher’s words are like sprinkling and he shoots words like arrows into your heart.
Malqosh is related to gathering. This year it’s time to gather in.
God sends out His word and it doesn’t come back void.
Grain, wine and oil are the main produce of Israel, even today.
The latter rain is a time and season for harvest.
Whatever you’re believing for is going to come to fruition this year - your quick and easy manifestation is at hand!
The word for (heavy) rain “Geshem” (from the root word “Gashmu”) means when the clouds break and the visible rain pours out from the clouds.
Jesus became visible rain when He (The Word) became flesh.
The root of the Hebrew word “Rapha” which means healing is to rest (relax and let go).
Wheat is a picture of the body of Jesus and wine is a picture of the blood of Jesus. This is a picture of the Holy Communion.

““Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in Yahweh, your God; for he gives you the former rain in just measure, and he causes the rain to come down for you, the former rain and the latter rain, as before. The threshing floors will be full of wheat, and the vats will overflow with new wine and oil. I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I sent among you. You will have plenty to eat, and be satisfied, and will praise the name of Yahweh, your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; and my people will never again be disappointed.” (Joel 2:23-26 WEB)

“And ye sons of Zion, joy and rejoice, In Jehovah your God, For He hath given to you the Teacher for righteousness, And causeth to come down to you a shower, Sprinkling and gathered — in the beginning.” (Joel 2:23 YLT1898)

Your heart is faster than your head. Children are very quick - their intuition is alive. They follow their heart, not their head.
Your head can reason and logic yourself out of faith and blessing.
Don’t listen to a voice from outside - listen to the Holy Spirit’s voice from within you.
The Holy Spirit works the desire from within your heart.

Pastor Joseph Prince prayed for Singapore that God’s righteousness should exalt this nation. He prayed for health and wisdom for the leaders of this nation.
God’s word tells us to be subject to the government. We are to honor the authorities.

Pastor Prince shared a testimony: A believer in Taiwan was just a few months pregnant and during the prenatal checkup, the fetus had no heartbeat.
She partook of the Holy Communion believing for a miracle and two checkups later, there was a heartbeat.
The baby boy was born and is now a healthy baby.

Luke 7:41-42 - God forgives us freely but it cost Him His Son.
Jesus’ death at the cross met all the demands of the Law. By His death we have a righteous basis to be forgiven.

““A certain lender had two debtors. The one owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. When they couldn’t pay, he forgave them both. Which of them therefore will love him most?”” (Luke 7:41-42 WEB)

Sandcastles Don't Last Forever

$14.99 $9.99

This is the eBook version.

If you prefer to get the Paperback version (physical copy), you can get it on Amazon here for US$15.

About the Book:

One day when I was singing praises to God, an image floated up in my spirit: a big and beautiful sandcastle being washed away by the waves from the sea. God was teaching me the futility of holding tightly onto worldly possessions because like the sandcastle, they won't last, and one day will cease to exist.

He taught me from His word to focus on Him and by doing so, I would reap great eternal rewards before Jesus' throne at the start of the Millennium. These rewards will last forever and can't be destroyed or stolen.

It is my prayer that the revelations in this book will help you to live with a focus on the things above where God is, fulfill your God-given calling in life, be happier and to accumulate more eternal rewards to your account.

In this Book, you will learn about:

- Heavenly investment advice and the futility of worldly pursuits from a trillionaire in the Bible

- Why God has to reward us in order to be righteous

- When and how God will destroy the current earth and sky to make way for new ones

- The types of fireproof works that earn eternal rewards at the end of time

- The abundant rewards of doing good works while abiding by the non-disclosure agreement between God and you

- The difference between the temporary places of torment: Sheol and Abaddon

- Who is the Antichrist and his name revealed in the Bible

- What is the Mark of the Beast and why it disqualifies its recipients from receiving salvation

- The different judgments at the throne of Jesus Christ and what it means for you as a believer

- How to fulfill your calling and maximize your gifts to receive the best eternal rewards

Testimonials about the contents of this book:

"Sandcastles Don't Last Forever is very well written, its message loud and clear. Milton Goh gives common-sense insight on often confusing Scripture, which is much appreciated in these troubled times. My understanding of the Bible has definitely improved."

- Mike Garrett, first Editor/ Publisher for Stephen King and Author of Christian Novel "Innocence Denied", from USA

"This book is absolutely breathtaking. We don't work to be saved but were created to do good works. I am so energized and excited to know God values our works and we will be rewarded. This is all Glory to Jesus... I cant wait to throw my crowns at his feet and thank him for saving my life!" - Evangelist Michael Clark from USA

"Dear Milton Goh, I truly thank our Abba, Father for the revelations in this book. It is so amazing how I begin to discover important verses in the Bible that I have never read. That instead of following riches, with sleepless nights, and actually shortening our lives, we are just to 'Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ', and 'Love one another'. How beautiful to find out that actually in the Bible there is both 'Earthly or Worldly Investment Wisdom' and 'Eternal Investment Wisdom' according to the revelations here from Ecclesiastes 5:14-17 WEB)!; “It seems like Solomon was not only wise at earning material riches but also at earning eternal riches.” All the glory to our Lord Jesus Christ! God bless you Milton Goh for such a wonderful book!" - Nitta Nierra from Belgium

“Thank you Milton. I have just finished reading “Sandcastles Don’t Last Forever”. It’s such a good book that's filled with God's word. I love it very much. Might read again if I have the time. Thanks so much!” - Mally Chai from Singapore

"I'm reading this book and loving it! The revelations of the Gospel truth shared and it's life applications are absolutely amazing! I give glory to the Lord Jesus for my dear brother Milton for this exceptional resource. I'm gonna keep feeding on its contents and believe God for supernatural breakthroughs as my mind is renewed in Christ!" - Terence from Tombel, Cameroon

“Excellent book!! I enjoyed reading it so much and definitely recommend it! Milton is so gifted and all his teachings have blessed me tremendously! I thank God for people like him. Get this book, it will be worth it!” - Madeleine from SA, “Unmerited Favor” tier patron

The Triune God rejoices in forgiving us

Luke 15:1-7 - You can see the Triune God in Luke 15: God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus is the only Good Shepherd who will leave the ninety nine sheep to find the one lost sheep.
Most human shepherds will not risk losing another sheep. They will choose to cut their losses.
The style of Jesus’ forgiveness is beautiful. He doesn’t condemn or rebuke us - He rejoices after forgiving us.

“Now all the tax collectors and sinners were coming close to him to hear him. The Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying, “This man welcomes sinners, and eats with them.” He told them this parable. “Which of you men, if you had one hundred sheep, and lost one of them, wouldn’t leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one that was lost, until he found it? When he has found it, he carries it on his shoulders, rejoicing. When he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ I tell you that even so there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance.” (Luke 15:1-7 WEB)

Luke 15:8 - We are like coins, made in the image of God.
The woman represents the Holy Spirit. He seeks for us diligently in order to save us.

“Or what woman, if she had ten drachma coins, if she lost one drachma coin, wouldn’t light a lamp, sweep the house, and seek diligently until she found it? When she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the drachma which I had lost.’ Even so, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner repenting.”” (Luke 15:8-10 WEB)

Luke 15:20 - The prodigal son demanded for his inheritance while his father was still alive, as good as telling his father that he couldn’t wait for him to drop dead.
The Father was everyday and always scanning the horizon for his wayward son.
The Father laid aside his parental dignity and ran towards his son. God the Father rejoices as He forgives us.
The Father wants us to know how forgiven we are and how happy He is to forgive us.
God’s thoughts are much higher than our thoughts.
We hypocritically judge others by their actions and judge ourselves by our intentions.

““He arose, and came to his father. But while he was still far off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.” (Luke 15:20 WEB)

God put the veil in the temple because He didn’t want us to die. Sinful man cannot remain alive in a Holy God’s presence.
He kept Himself inside the Holy of Holies out of mercy towards us.
God Himself tore the veil. It’s not for man to come in - it’s so that He can step out and embrace us.

You can’t try to tame your tongue. That’s coming under Law. Trust God to work in you to transform you from within.
When you follow the prompting of the Holy Spirit, you will put to death the works of the flesh.

Isaiah 53:5-6 - “laid” in the last line in Hebrew is “paga” which conveys a sense of a violent attack.
The New English Translation says “to attack Him”.
Our sins violently converged and attacked Jesus at the cross.
In the Garden of Gethsemane, the very thought of becoming sin caused Jesus to sweat blood.

“But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray. Everyone has turned to his own way; and Yahweh has laid on him the iniquity of us all.” (Isaiah 53:5-6 WEB)

“All of us had wandered off like sheep; each of us had strayed off on his own path, but the LORD caused the sin of all of us to attack him.” (Isaiah 53:6 NET)
