29 March 2020 - Receive Jesus to Experience Extraordinary Miracles - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon Notes

Pastor Joseph Prince shared that in this time of darkness, Jesus is calling His church to actively receive Him to experience His extraordinary miracles and protection in their lives. All these signs of darkness just shows that the dawn of our Lord's return is coming very soon!

Where two or three (the smallest plurality) are gathered in Jesus’ name, the Lord Jesus is in their midst.
In a corporate gathering of God’s people there is a special anointing and power of the Lord available.

We don’t walk in the spirit of fear that the world is walking in. That would be imparting a bad example to our children and family.

God created things out of nothing. He can also use five loaves and two small fishes to feed many.

Prophetically, Jesus is feeding Israel, and there will be the time when the twelve basketfuls of food will be opened for Israel.

Israel came out of Israel marshalled/armed by fives. It’s like they came out as an army.
Jesus made the multitudes to sit in groups of fifty.

God will supply us according to the riches of glory that is in Christ Jesus.
“According” means everything that belongs to God is yours.

Ephesians‬ ‭1:7‬ - We have been forgiven “according” to the riches of God’s Grace.

“in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,” (Ephesians‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

God lives in the eternal “now”—He is not limited by time.

Jesus sat down at the Father’s right hand because all our sins have been forgiven.

Jesus rose from the dead as a divine receipt, demonstrating that all our sins have been forgiven.

Isaiah‬ ‭54:13-14 - Your children will be taught by the Lord Himself, and their shalom peace (wholeness) will be great.
You the parent, should be established in your identity as the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
Isaiah 53 talks about Jesus on the cross, whereas Isaiah 54 talks about the fruit of Jesus’ finished work at the cross.

“All your children will be taught by Yahweh; and your children’s peace will be great. In righteousness you will be established. You will be far from oppression, for you will not be afraid; and far from terror, for it shall not come near you.” (Isaiah‬ ‭54:13-14‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Isaiah‬ ‭54:17 - The promise is not that no weapons will be formed.
The promise is that all weapons formed against you will not prosper.
The COVID-19 virus won’t prosper against you.

“No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh.” (Isaiah‬ ‭54:17‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The feeding of the five thousand is a miracle that appears in all four synoptic gospels.
It happens between the rejection of Jesus and Jesus’ glorious coming.
It holds a message for our time whereby Jesus is still feeding us.

God’s revelations are given to those who are hungry to know Him more. Jesus said not to cast your pearls before swine.

Jesus came walking on the sea to His disciples in the darkest watch of the night, close to the dawn. Dawn is coming—Jesus will return for us soon!

Wrong doctrine produces wrong believing and therefore wrong thinking and living.
When you believe right, you will live right.
When you are fearful, examine what you’re believing.

We will not be going through the Tribulation. We will be taken away to be with Jesus in Heaven before the Tribulation begins.

Luke 4:17-20 - Usually in the synagogues, they would teach what not to do and what to do to obey God’s laws.
But for the first time, there was a proclamation of what God was doing at that time.
All the eyes of the listeners were fastened onto Jesus who is the Messiah.
Jesus is the “Sent One” on a mission of love, to save mankind from their sins.
Preachers and teachers need to close the book where Jesus closed the book.
Preach and teach about God’s love in this dispensation.

“The book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. He opened the book, and found the place where it was written, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed, and to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” He closed the book, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of all in the synagogue were fastened on him.” (Luke‬ ‭4:17-20‬ ‭WEB‬)

The COVID-19 is not God’s judgment upon the world. It is also not the beginning of the Tribulation.

Isaiah 61:2 - The day of vengeance is the 7 years of Tribulation that will come upon the world in the future, after the Rapture happens.
God is righteous and just so He has to punish sin, but God is love.
His heart is to save mankind. He doesn’t take pleasure in the death of sinners.
God the Father is the one who planned for His Son to die as a propitiation for our sins.
God ordained for His wrath for sins to fall upon Jesus at the cross, so that His wrath would not be punished in us who have faith in Jesus.
God is righteous in making us righteous.
Pride is when you try to manufacture your own righteousness.
When you accept righteousness as a gift, you are being humble.

“to proclaim the year of Yahweh’s favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn;” (Isaiah‬ ‭61:2‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

God turned Paul, a Pharisee of Pharisees, to become an apostle of Grace.
He turned John who wanted to call down fire, into an apostle of love.
Pastor Prince was a stutterer when he was younger, and now God is using him mightily in the very area of his former weakness.
God’s strength is made perfect in your area of weakness.

Actively receive Jesus to experience God's extraordinary power in your life

John 6:2-6 - Passover this year falls on 8th April 2020. It is very near.
Jesus is going to demonstrate Himself as the Bread of Life.
He’s going to fill us if we’re hungry. He will provide for us.
These are the days to consider the miraculous power of God.

“A great multitude followed him, because they saw his signs which he did on those who were sick. Jesus went up into the mountain, and he sat there with his disciples. Now the Passover, the feast of the Jews, was at hand. Jesus therefore lifting up his eyes, and seeing that a great multitude was coming to him, said to Philip, “Where are we to buy bread, that these may eat?” This he said to test him, for he himself knew what he would do.” (John‬ ‭6:2-6‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Mark 6:45-52 - Fear is the result of a hardened heart.
The disciples were fearful because they didn’t meditate on God’s miraculous power demonstrated during the multiplication of the loaves and fishes.
They didn’t put two and two together that God and can do anything.
Jesus is now at the Father’s right hand. What’s He doing there? He’s functioning as our great High Priest in the order of Melchizedek’s priesthood.
It is a priesthood of blessing, not cursing.
Jesus is praying (interceding) for His church right now.
When we don’t love Jesus, it’s because we don’t realize how much He loves us.
Be like John who called himself “the disciple whom Jesus loves”.
This passage is not a picture of the Rapture.
In the Rapture, the Lord wont pass any believer by. All will be taken up to Heaven.
This passage is a picture of an extraordinary movement of God.
We are raised and seated with Christ in the heavenly places, far above all principalities and powers.
With God there is no limit of time—He sees things from the eternal perspective.
Every morning you can see yourself safely seated at the Father’s right hand—that is the secret place of the Most High.

“Immediately he made his disciples get into the boat, and to go ahead to the other side, to Bethsaida, while he himself sent the multitude away. After he had taken leave of them, he went up the mountain to pray. When evening had come, the boat was in the middle of the sea, and he was alone on the land. Seeing them distressed in rowing, for the wind was contrary to them, about the fourth watch of the night he came to them, walking on the sea, and he would have passed by them, but they, when they saw him walking on the sea, supposed that it was a ghost, and cried out; for they all saw him, and were troubled. But he immediately spoke with them, and said to them, “Cheer up! It is I! Don’t be afraid.” He got into the boat with them; and the wind ceased, and they were very amazed among themselves, and marveled; for they hadn’t understood about the loaves, but their hearts were hardened.” (Mark‬ ‭6:45-52‬ ‭WEB‬)

God has to make people to sit down because we are so busy running around.
What would make the church today sit down?
Good things happening would just make them run around busily, chasing after things.
The COVID-19 virus is not from God, but God allows things to happen so that we see our need for Him.

Exodus 14:24-25 - The morning watch is the darkest part of the night, between 3am to 6am.
Pray for the Lord to mess up the RNA of the COVID-19 virus and destroy them.

“In the morning watch, Yahweh looked out on the Egyptian army through the pillar of fire and of cloud, and confused the Egyptian army. He took off their chariot wheels, and they drove them heavily; so that the Egyptians said, “Let’s flee from the face of Israel, for Yahweh fights for them against the Egyptians!”” (Exodus‬ ‭14:24-25‬ ‭WEB)

Psalm 57:1 - In Hebrew, grace is hesed, whereas favor is hanan. They are distinct but share similar traits of the unmerited favor of God.
The word “merciful” in this verse comes from the Hebrew word hanan.
We will take refuge in our Lord Jesus until this COVID-19 disaster has passed.

“Be merciful to me, God, be merciful to me, for my soul takes refuge in you. Yes, in the shadow of your wings, I will take refuge, until disaster has passed.” (Psalms‬ ‭57:1‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

For every good thing in your life, give God all the glory.

Even in Psalm 23, it says that the Lord makes me to lie down in green pastures. We are such creatures of activity that we have to be made to lie down and rest.

Jesus said the infirm woman “ought” to be loosed from her bondage. The world uses “ought” to force us to work. God uses “ought” to make us rest.

When we come to Jesus, He will give us rest.

Jesus moves in a cadence of rest. He has time for multitudes and also time for individuals.
The only time Jesus rushes you is to rush to be saved, healed and blessed.

Psalm 107:1-2 - The words “loving kindness” in the original Hebrew is “hesed”.
In the Hebrew New Testament, the word “Grace” is translated as “hesed”.
In John 1, it says Jesus is full of grace and truth (hesed ve emet), it refers to them as a singular because it’s talking about true grace.

“Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever. Let the redeemed by Yahweh say so, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the adversary,” (Psalms‬ ‭107:1-2‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Psalm 107:8-9 - Remember to praise Jesus for His “hesed” (Grace).

“Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful deeds to the children of men! For he satisfies the longing soul. He fills the hungry soul with good.” (Psalms‬ ‭107:8-9‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

John 6:21 - The boat was supernaturally transported from the middle of the lake to the shore the moment the disciples received Jesus into the boat.
This extraordinary movement is for those who actively receive Jesus—if not He will pass them by and they will miss out on experiencing His miraculous power.

“They were willing therefore to receive him into the boat. Immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.” (John‬ ‭6:21‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

All the while God’s hand of protection has been upon the world. Once in a while, He lifts a finger to show how fragile the world is without His protection.

In the Old Testament, when it says that the Lord brought some form of destruction, it is in the permissive tense. It is Him allowing it, not sending it.
God is sovereign—the devil is not allowed to do whatever he wants all the time.

Mark 6:54-56 -After this period of darkness, there is going to be an unprecedented movement of God’s power. We’re entering that time whereby everyone who touched Jesus will be made well.

“When they had come out of the boat, immediately the people recognized him, and ran around that whole region, and began to bring those who were sick, on their mats, to where they heard he was. Wherever he entered, into villages, or into cities, or into the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and begged him that they might touch just the fringe of his garment; and as many as touched him were made well.” (Mark‬ ‭6:54-56‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Psalm 107:27-31 - God just wants us to be grateful for His Grace.
You don’t have to earn His protection—just believe and receive it.

“They reel back and forth, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits’ end. Then they cry to Yahweh in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distress. He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still. Then they are glad because it is calm, so he brings them to their desired haven. Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful deeds for the children of men!” (Psalms‬ ‭107:27-31‬ ‭WEB‬)

Matthew 14:27-33 - This incident happened between Jesus appearing like a ghost and the boat being supernaturally transported to the shore.
This is a special movement of God.
Tell Jesus that you want to be like Him, to be transformed from glory to glory.
The responsibilities of Grace is to become that which we already are.
We experience our identity in Christ when we behold Jesus.
Through studying the Scriptures and hearing the preaching of God’s word, you can behold Jesus.
Jesus will never leave us nor forsake us, but if you want to experience Him on a deeper level, you must receive Him.
Every failure in your life comes from taking your eyes off Jesus.
Don’t feed off man’s words—that is not nourishing bread.
Feed on Jesus the Bread of Life.
When you take one step towards Him, He takes ten steps towards you.

“But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Cheer up! It is I! Don’t be afraid.” Peter answered him and said, “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the waters.” He said, “Come!” Peter stepped down from the boat, and walked on the waters to come to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was strong, he was afraid, and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus stretched out his hand, took hold of him, and said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?” When they got up into the boat, the wind ceased. Those who were in the boat came and worshiped him, saying, “You are truly the Son of God!”” (Matthew‬ ‭14:27-33‬ ‭WEB)

Thank u so much for sharing the sermons of Pastor Prince.I am grateful to Father God for a true servant like you who always remembers his brothers & sisters throughout the world by bringing to us pastor Prince sermon.My bowels are refreshed & my faith is strengthened every time I read & meditate on the notes.

Abba Father has really established me in His grace by reading the notes you freely shares with us.
