Matthew 1:18-19 - Jesus was born of a virgin. Medical research has now found that the baby does not receive any of his parents’ blood from the placenta. Jesus’ blood is sinless.

“Now the birth of Jesus Christ was like this: After his mother, Mary, was engaged to Joseph, before they came together, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit. Joseph, her husband, being a righteous man, and not willing to make her a public example, intended to put her away secretly.” (Matthew‬ ‭1‬:‭18‬-‭19‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Matthew 1:20 - Both Joseph and Mary came from the lineage of David. Jesus was born of the royal stock.

“But when he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, don’t be afraid to take to yourself Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew‬ ‭1‬:‭20‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Jesus was born King of the Jews—He was not only heir-apparent.

Our sins were a barrier between us and God. Jesus came to save us from our sins.

Matthew 1:23 - “Im” means “with us” and “El” means “mighty God” in Hebrew. Jesus is the mighty God with us.

““Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall give birth to a son. They shall call his name Immanuel,” which is, being interpreted, “God with us.”” (Matthew‬ ‭1‬:‭23‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

God said to Adam that the day he eats of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, he would surely die. Death came in because Adam sinned.

Nothing is more real than the spiritual. God who is a Spirit, brought forth the material world.

Romans 8:31 - God is for us. Nothing can be against us. We can rest in God’s love as He is taking care of us.

“What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭31‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

God’s Word contains proof of His love for us

​The first proof that God is for you: God gave His Son for you.

All of us have broken the Ten Commandments, whether in thought or deed.

The Law was given by Moses (a servant) but Grace and truth came by Jesus Christ (the Son).

Only Jesus can satisfy your soul. Nothing in this world can.

John 3:16 - The word “so” speaks of the intensity of God’s love for the world. Love is not love until it is given.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” (John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Hebrews 9:22 - Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.

“According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.” (Hebrews‬ ‭9‬:‭22‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

When man sinned, he forfeited the glory of God which covered him and was left naked.

Adam tried to cover his nakedness with fig leaves but it was useless because it was a bloodless sacrifice.

God was the first one to kill an animal. He then put the animal covering over Adam and Eve.

Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

No one can be justified by trying to keep the Law (Ten Commandments).

“The Lord is my shepherd, I will not lack”: These words are from Psalm 23, the most famous Psalm. When God leads you, you will not lack.

In the Scriptures, you will not find Jesus going around making people poor. He was always enriching them in every way.

Back then, Jesus did not heal everyone in Israel, but He healed everyone who came to Him.

Under the Law, there were animal sacrifices. The sinner bringing a lamb as an offering lays his hands on the head of the lamb. The sins of the person are transferred to the innocent lamb, while the righteousness of the lamb goes into the sinner. This is the transfer that happens. It is by grace—the unearned, undeserved, unmerited favor of God.

The second proof of God’s love for you: At the cross, our sins were laid upon Jesus and His righteousness was given to us. This is the divine exchange that happened at the cross. This is why we can become the righteousness of God in Christ.

Romans 4:22-25 - The third proof of God’s love for you: the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He is the first one to be resurrected in a new body, never to die again.
The resurrection is the proof that your sins have all been forgiven.
God didn’t raise Jesus from the dead because He is His Son or because He lived a perfect life. It was because all our sins have been removed and we have been declared righteous.

“Therefore it also was “credited to him for righteousness.” Now it was not written that it was accounted to him for his sake alone, but for our sake also, to whom it will be accounted, who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead, who was delivered up for our trespasses, and was raised for our justification.” (Romans‬ ‭4‬:‭22‬-‭25‬ ‭WEBUS‬)

“who was delivered up because of our offences, and was raised up because of our being declared righteous.” (Romans‬ ‭4‬:‭25‬ ‭YLT98‬‬)

The last enemy to be put under the risen Jesus’ feet is Death. This will happen when the harpazo (snatching away, aka Rapture) happens. We will receive glorified bodies like Jesus that will never age, die, or decay!

Jesus is in Heaven at the Father’s right hand for you, representing you. Just as He hung on the cross as you, He is representing you now in Heaven.

God bruised His Son at the cross because God loves you.

Acts 2:1-8 - The fourth proof of God’s love for you: He sent the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit did not come to be confined to one language. He spoke to the people from all nations in their own dialects, to take the Gospel to them.

“Now when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all with one accord in one place. Suddenly there came from the sky a sound like the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. Tongues like fire appeared and were distributed to them, and one sat on each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other languages, as the Spirit gave them the ability to speak. Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under the sky. When this sound was heard, the multitude came together and were bewildered, because everyone heard them speaking in his own language. They were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Behold, aren’t all these who speak Galileans? How do we hear, everyone in our own native language? Parthians, Medes, Elamites, and people from Mesopotamia, Judea, Cappadocia, Pontus, Asia, Phrygia, Pamphylia, Egypt, the parts of Libya around Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, Cretans and Arabians—we hear them speaking in our languages the mighty works of God!” They were all amazed and were perplexed, saying to one another, “What does this mean?”” (Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬-‭12‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Only God can put you at the right place at the right time.

Why didn’t God just let us perish in our sins? It is because He loves us.

When you are right with God through faith in Jesus Christ, all the blessings of God will pursue you.
