30 October 2022 - Identify With the Second Adam - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon Notes

New Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us many heavenly realities, especially that need to see ourselves the way God sees us—in the spirit and not in the flesh. In Christ, not in Adam.

It takes a father and a mother to raise a child. Not a village. We don’t want a village to give advice to our children.

Abraham prospered in all things. He was very rich in flocks, silver, and gold. The blessing upon him also caused him to receive physical wealth. We are the seed of Abraham and are blessed together with the faithful Abraham. We are well supplied in Christ.

Genesis 26:1-3 - The “first” in Hebrew is “rashon”. It also means the head, the beginning, and the first.
“Rosh” in Hebrew is the name for Russia in the Bible.
China is “Sinim”.
This passage is prophetic for a time when Russia becomes prominent again.

“There was a famine in the land, in addition to the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. Isaac went to Abimelech king of the Philistines, to Gerar. Yahweh appeared to him, and said, “Don’t go down into Egypt. Live in the land I will tell you about. Live in this land, and I will be with you, and will bless you. For I will give to you, and to your offspring, all these lands, and I will establish the oath which I swore to Abraham your father.” (Genesis‬ ‭26:1-3‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Ezekiel 38:1-3 - Gog means expansion and Magog means extension. Rosh is Russia and Meschech is Moscow.
There will be a time when Russia comes to try and invade Israel. God will destroy them on the mountains of Israel.

“Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, “Son of man, set your face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him, and say, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Behold, I am against you, Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal.” (Ezekiel‬ ‭38:1-3‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Ezekiel 38:13 - In Ezekiel 38, the “young lions” includes America.
Sheba, Dedan are referring to Saudi Arabia.
Tarshish is Spain.
In the Ezekiel 38 war, no country will help Israel. God Himself will defeat the invaders for Israel and man will not get the glory.

“Sheba, Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all its young lions, will ask you, ‘Have you come to take the plunder? Have you assembled your company to take the prey, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder?’”’” (Ezekiel‬ ‭38:13‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

You are in Christ the Second Adam. As He is, so are you in this world

Man was God’s greatest creation and He made man last to enjoy a finished creation. Man cannot take credit for any part of creation.

The devil has a special hatred for women because the first prophecy in the Bible says that the woman’s seed will crush the serpent’s head. In many countries, women are still subjugated. The prophecy was fulfilled at the cross when Jesus delivered a fatal wound to Satan’s power and authority through His death at the cross.

Adam succumbed to the devil’s temptation and that it why death came into the world and the whole of creation fell.

We are not just a body. We are a spirit-man inside who comes from the breath of God.

In Christ, we who are born-again have been re-created in true righteousness and holiness.

Jesus was tested by the devil in the barren wilderness, without food, and He did not sin. Adam gave up everything for a fruit.

Jesus came to earth to be the new federal head of mankind. The Second and Last Adam.

We must identify ourselves with Jesus, not with Adam.

It is good to see the deity of Jesus, but we must also realize that Jesus is also fully man. Jesus also grew up as a normal boy, and grew in His understanding. It was not like He knew everything already when He was in Mary’s womb.

God the Father cannot just say boys will be boys and sweep our sin debt under the carpet. God is love and He still has to do everything righteously. He has a righteous basis to be good to us today because of Jesus’ perfect offering of Himself at the cross.

The people who truly understand the Law (The Ten Commandments) know that no one can keep the Law which must be kept perfectly in both thoughts and deeds.

Jesus did not come to destroy the Law, but to fulfill it. He fulfilled it at the cross by paying for our sin debt through shedding His blood. Only Jesus can keep and fulfill the Law.

Under the Law, God’s blessings to you are based on your obedience. If you obey, you are blessed. If you disobey, you are cursed. However, under Grace, God blesses us not based on our obedience but based on Christ’s obedience at the cross.

God does not see you in the flesh but in the spirit. Everything that is true of the Second Adam is also true of you. As the resurrected and glorified Jesus is, so are you in this world.

Jesus conquered death and rose from the dead as man. Then He ascended to Heaven, was glorified, and He sat down at the right hand of God because He has already purged our sins once and for all.

There was never a person that bore more sins in His body than Jesus Christ at the cross. When Jesus stepped into Heaven and sat down at the Father’s right hand, our sins were not there anymore because they have truly been purged. We know that we have been forgiven because Jesus is seated at the Father’s right hand.

Where there is remission of sins, we must have boldness to enter the Holiest.

There is still sin in us. If we say this is not true, then we lie. Sin in the flesh will only be gone when we receive our glorified bodies at the Rapture.

God’s eyes are on the blood of Christ in Heaven and not on your sin as a believer. Your sins were imputed to Jesus at the cross. Jesus’ righteousness has been imputed to you. Your sins and lawless deeds God remembers no more. God remembered our sins at the cross when He punished them in the body of Jesus Christ.

It was the Spirit (God) that brought forth this visible, material world. The spirit realm is more real and eternal than the material world. Faith is more real than material stuff.

By faith, we must reckon ourselves dead to sin. Our old man was crucified with Christ at the cross. When we feel sin rising up in our flesh we must agree with God that it is dead. Don’t pray against your flesh because as far as God is concerned, and you are not in the flesh but in the spirit. The more you act like it is still alive, you are acting in unbelief and you fall from Grace.

If a blasphemous thought comes from the enemy to your mind, don’t entertain it. It’s not you. You can’t stop a bird from landing on your head, but you can stop it from building a nest.

As the federal head, Adam’s sin caused the whole creation to fall together with him. However, Jesus is the new federal head, and everything that He accomplished at the cross for us is also our portion.

We are permanently in the Holy of Holies now in the spirit. Entering the Holy of Holies has become a new and living way for us today.

We walk in the light, just as Jesus is in the light. It is talking about position, not behavior. The Shekinah glory in the Holy of Holies shows how spotless and beautiful we are in Christ.

We are forever forgiven and accepted in Christ. When we realize that, we can judge our sin in a deeper way.

When we call God our Father, the Holy Spirit can bear witness with the truth and bless it.

To pray in the name of Jesus does not just mean tagging the name of Jesus at the end of your prayer. It actually means praying as though you are Jesus.

It is better to deal with any sinful habit knowing that you are in God’s presence, knowing that He loves you. Overcoming these bad habits are not the criteria for Him to accept you, but these victories are testimonies to the world to show that you are looking more and more like Jesus.

Faith is not producing something out of nothing. Faith is agreeing with something that is already in the spirit world—walking in line with what God has already established.

Feelings are not dependable. Don’t rely on them to measure your relationship with God.

Holiness is thinking the same thoughts as Jesus is. Let God make your enemies your footstool. This is the posture of rest that Jesus is also adopting.

It’s not about how hard, loud, or soft you pray. It is about who you are praying to. You are so close to the Father.

Use these notes as a revision guide instead of solely depending on them!

These sermon notes are independently-compiled by me, and I'm just a loyal and regular attendee of the the church's Sunday services, and I feel led to take detailed personal sermon notes of Pastor Prince's anointed messages to share them with the world, which desperately needs the true word of God and the original gospel of grace.

I feel blessed to be able to attend Pastor Joseph Prince's services in person, and would like to help everyone who isn't able to attend in person, to get hold of the messages as soon as it is preached!
