2 October 2022 - It Is God’s Will To Heal - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Lawrence Lim2/10/2022 2 October 2022 - It Is God’s Will To Heal - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Lawrence LimNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Lawrence Lim showed us from the Scriptures how it is surely God’s will to heal today, and how we are at the brink of a great healing revival in these end times! Praise and worship songs performed:
Matthew 24:5-8 - We are living in the end times. These things that Jesus prophesied are happening on a frequency and scale like never before. “For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will lead many astray. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren’t troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places. But all these things are the beginning of birth pains.” (Matthew 24:5-8 WEBUS) 1 Thessalonians 1:10 - Our Christian posture in the end times is to look for Jesus’ return. New Creation Church’s belief is that the Rapture will happen before the Tribulation. “and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead: Jesus, who delivers us from the wrath to come.” (1 Thessalonians 1:10 WEBUS) Titus 2:11-14 - We are looking for the blessed hope and appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ. “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age; looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.” (Titus 2:11-14 WEBUS) Isaiah 66:8 - The United Nations came together and decided to give Israel independence because they had endured through the Holocaust. On 14 May 1948, Israel became a nation again in one day. This prophecy was fulfilled. “Who has heard of such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall a land be born in one day? Shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she gave birth to her children.” (Isaiah 66:8 WEBUS) Luke 21:24 - This prophecy has been partially fulfilled. For the first time in 2000 years, Israel has regained control of many of its ancient sites. “They will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled down by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.” (Luke 21:24 WEBUS) Hebrews 10:14-18 - God does not remember our sins anymore (the charges have been dropped because Jesus paid for them). “For by one offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. The Holy Spirit also testifies to us, for after saying, “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days,” says the Lord, “I will put my laws on their heart, I will also write them on their mind;” then he says, “I will remember their sins and their iniquities no more.” Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.” (Hebrews 10:14-18 WEBUS) Hebrews 10:19-25 - The veil in the second temple was torn from top to bottom when Jesus died at the cross. It means we have access into the Holy of Holies. Draw near, not shrink away. An evil conscience is when you don’t believe that your sins have been forgiven. God has promised to bless us so we can believe His word and hold fast the confession of our hope. Let us keep encouraging each other to do good works as worship unto the Lord. Gathering as a church on Sunday is great. We are instructed not to forsake our assembling together even as we see the Day (Rapture) approaching. “Having therefore, brothers, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh, and having a great priest over God’s house, let’s draw near with a true heart in fullness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and having our body washed with pure water, let’s hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful. Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:19-25 WEBUS)

25 September 2022 - How To Interpret The Bible - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us important principles of Bible interpretation so that we can know how to study the God-breathed Scriptures for ourselves, and be thoroughly equipped for every good work! Praise and worship songs performed: 1. The Lion And The Lamb - Bethel Music 2. Beautiful Savior - Planetshakers 3. Yeshua - Jesus Image Worship 4. Stronger - New Creation Worship Preachers are just human vessels, oracles of God. They need to be receptive and hear accurately to proclaim God’s word to the people. There are many Mary and many Joseph, but only one David in the Bible. God wants the name David to be associated with kingship. Jesus is called the Son of David. The Gospel of Matthew is the Gospel of the Sovereign and His Sermons. The Gospel of Mark is the Gospel of the Servant and His Service. The Gospel of Luke is the Gospel of the Savior and His Salvation. The Gospel of John is the Gospel of the Son of God and His supremacy. Man is the only creation made in God’s image. Mankind was the last to be made, and we are like the underlords of God’s whole creation. The first Adam succumbed to Satan’s temptation and fell. God sent the Second Adam, Jesus Christ, to recover what the first Adam lost. Death and judgment are behind us. We have died in Christ and are resurrected. The world is waiting for death in front of them, but not us. When we step out of this body, we will be in Heaven, with God. In AD 70, General Titus led the Roman Army to raze Jerusalem to the ground. General Titus commanded his soldiers not to destroy the temple, but as the soldiers fought, some of the torches of fire fell into the temple and the gold in between the cracks of the stones of the temple melted and started flowing down. This caused the soldiers to ignore General Titus' command and throw down the stones of the temple to get the gold. The son of the emperor of Rome said don't destroy the temple, whereas the Son of God (Jesus) said not one stone will be left on another. Jesus won. Jesus' word always comes to pass. You can be sure that God's prophecies will come to pass. Today if you go to Israel, you can still see the huge stones that were toppled over. There are earthquakes, wars, and rumors of wars. When all these things begin to happen, look up for your redemption draws near. The redemption of your body in the Rapture. The name Elizabeth means “My God promised”. The word for promise in Hebrew is also the word for seven. On the day of the announcement of the queen’s death there was a double rainbow (7 colors). The queen reigned for seventy years. 2 Timothy 3:1-2 - These are signs of the end times, and we are seeing these especially on social media these days. “But know this: that in the last days, grievous times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,” (2 Timothy 3:1-2 WEBUS) 18 September 2022 - Multiplied Grace And Peace By Seeing Jesus - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us how to receive grace and peace multiplied to us by receiving revelations of Jesus concealed in the Scriptures, especially in the Old Testament. Praise and worship songs performed: 1. In Jesus’ Name - Darlene Zschech 2. Worthy - Elevation Worship Pastor Prince kept hearing this phrase “one place” repeated to him. It is a word in season. The spiritual gifts usually manifest in a corporate setting. It is easier to rebel against two tablets of stone, but harder to rebel against a Father who loves you. When a person is excommunicated (banished, expelled) from church, he is alienated from the corporate anointing. Nowadays in modern churches this is not practiced much anymore because people tend to repent quickly and if they don’t, they usually leave church by themselves anyway. The Gadarene demoniac was alone, naked, crying, and cutting himself. Any desire to shed clothes and reveal a lot of skin is demonic. Demons want you to isolate yourself and feel depressed. The Bible says that your body is the temple of God. Your body is meant to glorify God with beauty and health. God will take care of His temple. God wants us believers to gather to worship God and receive His preached word in Jesus’ name, even as we see the Day (of the Lord’s return) approaching. Romans 15:4 - Bible hope is not just wishing, but it is a positive, joyful, confident expectation of good in your future. Let your hope be anchored in Christ, and not in world events or what the media is saying. “For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that through perseverance and through encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.” (Romans 15:4 WEBUS) In countries where they do not believe in God and shed a lot of blood through wars and killings, the ground rebels and refuses to produce crops. They have to import food because the land is barren due to their sin. In the beginning, animals talked. Balaam’s donkey spoke for itself. It was not God speaking through the donkey. God only restored the donkey’s ability to speak as it was in the beginning. The very first way to study the Bible is to see Jesus in the Word. When you find Jesus, you find yourself because you are in Christ. When you believe that Christ is your holiness, it will manifest in your actions without you being conscious of it. Humility is not thinking less of yourself. It is not thinking of yourself at all. 4 September 2022 - How To See Jesus Today - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew sermon notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us how to interpret the Scripture properly in light of Jesus’ finished work at the cross, as well as the primary way we get to see Jesus today! Praise and worship songs performed: (I missed the name of the first song) 1. I Was Made To Praise You - Chris Christensen 2. Pride Of A Father - Hillsong Music 3. I Stand In Worship - New Creation Worship 4. Only You - New Creation Worship Every soul is precious to Jesus. Matthew 15:21-28 - The woman came to Jesus pretending to be a Jew by saying the term “Son of David”, but Jesus did not want to bless her in her pretense. Even though she had no covenant with God, Jesus gave her a loophole by saying “It is not appropriate to take the children’s bread and throw it to the puppies (diminutive term).” “Children’s bread” is healing. Then the woman was honest and just called Jesus “Lord” and she received her daughter’s healing. Jesus only commended two people for their great faith, and both of them were Gentiles. One was this woman, and the other was a Roman centurion. They were not conscious of the Law (Ten Commandments), but they were only focused on Jesus. “Jesus went out from there and withdrew into the region of Tyre and Sidon. Behold, a Canaanite woman came out from those borders and cried, saying, “Have mercy on me, Lord, you son of David! My daughter is severely possessed by a demon!” But he answered her not a word. His disciples came and begged him, saying, “Send her away; for she cries after us.” But he answered, “I wasn’t sent to anyone but the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” But she came and worshiped him, saying, “Lord, help me.” But he answered, “It is not appropriate to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.” But she said, “Yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.” Then Jesus answered her, “Woman, great is your faith! Be it done to you even as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that hour.” (Matthew 15:21-28 WEBUS) Deuteronomy 8:7-9 - The underground water is a picture of the refreshment, revelations, and blessings that come from going through valley seasons of trial. Another way to see it is that they are the rich revelations received through deep study and meditation of God’s word. In the land of Canaan, Israel had to look up and depend on God. They had to wait for the rain from Him. God’s word comes in rich diversity of flavors. “For Yahweh your God brings you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of springs, and underground water flowing into valleys and hills; a land of wheat, barley, vines, fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of olive trees and honey; a land in which you shall eat bread without scarcity, you shall not lack anything in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills you may dig copper.” (Deuteronomy 8:7-9 WEBUS) Jeremiah 15:16 - God’s word is primarily for eating. When you feed on God’s word, it satisfies and nourishes you. The things of the word cannot satisfy your soul. You will still feel empty after pursuing them. The joy of the Lord that comes from God’s word is your strength. It gives you strength in body, soul, and spirit. “Your words were found, and I ate them. Your words were to me a joy and the rejoicing of my heart, for I am called by your name, Yahweh, God of Armies.” (Jeremiah 15:16 WEBUS) Every day people leak life naturally, but Jesus said we can life and have it more abundantly through Him. 28 August 2022 - Fruitfulness and Multiplication Through Soul Prosperity - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Lim Lian NeoNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Lian taught us how to develop precious soul prosperity that produces fruitfulness, multiplication, and prosperity in all things. Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. To You - Darlene Zschech 2. I Love You Lord - Laurie Klein 3. I Will Follow After You - New Creation Worship 4. Amazing Grace (Hymn) 5. Still - Hillsong Music John 15:16 - Pastor Marilyn Hickey gave Pastor Lian this verse seven years ago. “You didn’t choose me, but I chose you and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.” (John 15:16 WEBUS) The first thing God did to Adam and Eve is to bless them. He declared, “Be fruitful and multiply.” God is releasing His blessing onto us. To be fruitful (in Hebrew: parah) means to see growth and increase in your life. The Hebrew word that was translated as “multiply” is “rabah”: enlarge, plenteous, to make great. 3 John 1:2 - The key to be fruitful and multiply is to have a soul that is prosperous. The soul is the mind, will, and emotions. We will have mental and emotional well-being. We will have the supernatural ability to choose life and not death. Choose life in your relationships. You will be empowered to avoid toxic relationships and avoid unnecessary arguments with your spouse. You don’t have to wish for life to get easier. The soul prosperity will give you supernatural contentment amidst the trouble. Your soul is not tagged to external circumstances, but to the person of Jesus Christ, His finished work at the cross, and His love for you. Jesus is the anchor of your soul. “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.” (3 John 1:2 WEBUS) 21 August 2022 - Dig Deep Into the Riches of God’s Word - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince showed us how amazing God’s word is and the numerous benefits of spending time in it regularly. Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. In Jesus’ Name - Darlene Zschech 2. That’s The Power - Hillsong Music 3. Your Saving Grace - New Creation Worship 4. When I Look Into Your Holiness - Cathy Perrin There is an anointing within and an anointing upon. When you are saved, you have the anointing of the Holy Spirit inside you. But when the anointing comes upon you, it is the gifts of the Spirit flowing for ministry. If you just keep receiving and not giving, you become like the Dead Sea. But the northern part of Israel has the Sea of Galilee which is a channel—it is always clean. If God knows He can get wealth through you, He will give it to you. Be rich in good works. Don’t put your trust in uncertain riches. To have a successful live is not just about money. It is about the life more abundantly that Jesus said. Numbers 14:7 - God is bringing us into a very very good land. “and they speak unto all the company of the sons of Israel, saying, ‘The land into which we have passed over to spy it, [is] a very very good land;” (Numbers 14:7 YLT98) The resurrected Jesus did not appear to unbelievers. He showed Himself to believers. The very first day He rose from the dead, He appeared to the two despondent disciples on the road to Emmaus. Jesus expounded the Scriptures to them, telling them about the things inside concerning Himself. It was more important for the two disciples to see Jesus in the Scriptures than in person. That is why He did not allow them to recognize Him. This gives us all equal opportunity to see Jesus today—in the Bible. On a deeper level, Songs of Songs is a picture of the Lord’s love for His church. The Bible has a lot of romance in it. God calls your body the temple of God. He has a high regard for your body. If you are heavenly minded, you will be very much of earthly good. Jesus spent time with the Father in prayer in the mountains, and He came down to heal the sick and cast out demons. 14 August 2022 - Supernatural Cancellation of Debts - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Mark NgNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Mark taught us how to seek Jesus and not focus on the breakthroughs we need. As we hear and hear the Good News of Christ, things will turn around for our good. God is supplying His grace for miracles through the hearing of faith! Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. Won’t Stop Now - Elevation Worship 2. Never Walk Alone - Hillsong Music 3. As The Deer - Martin J. Nystrom 4. Letting Go - New Creation Worship 5. It Is Well With My Soul - Horatio G. Spafford 1 Timothy 6:17 - Trust in God, not in uncertain riches. Money cannot satisfy one’s soul. Pastor Mark has experienced great riches before. He was a multi millionaire through receiving his late father’s inheritance and he lost it all through speculation in a stock market crash. He became heavily in debt but Jesus led him in decisions such that years later, the debts were all paid off through prior investments that regained value. “Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.” (I Timothy 6:17 NKJV) Come to Jesus with all your sin, guilt, debt, and shame.
