New Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us how to receive grace and peace multiplied to us by receiving revelations of Jesus concealed in the Scriptures, especially in the Old Testament.

Pastor Prince kept hearing this phrase “one place” repeated to him. It is a word in season.

The spiritual gifts usually manifest in a corporate setting.

It is easier to rebel against two tablets of stone, but harder to rebel against a Father who loves you.

When a person is excommunicated (banished, expelled) from church, he is alienated from the corporate anointing. Nowadays in modern churches this is not practiced much anymore because people tend to repent quickly and if they don’t, they usually leave church by themselves anyway.

The Gadarene demoniac was alone, naked, crying, and cutting himself. Any desire to shed clothes and reveal a lot of skin is demonic. Demons want you to isolate yourself and feel depressed.

The Bible says that your body is the temple of God. Your body is meant to glorify God with beauty and health. God will take care of His temple.

God wants us believers to gather to worship God and receive His preached word in Jesus’ name, even as we see the Day (of the Lord’s return) approaching.

Romans 15:4 - Bible hope is not just wishing, but it is a positive, joyful, confident expectation of good in your future.
Let your hope be anchored in Christ, and not in world events or what the media is saying.

“For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that through perseverance and through encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.” (Romans‬ ‭15:4‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

In countries where they do not believe in God and shed a lot of blood through wars and killings, the ground rebels and refuses to produce crops. They have to import food because the land is barren due to their sin.

In the beginning, animals talked. Balaam’s donkey spoke for itself. It was not God speaking through the donkey. God only restored the donkey’s ability to speak as it was in the beginning.

The very first way to study the Bible is to see Jesus in the Word. When you find Jesus, you find yourself because you are in Christ.

When you believe that Christ is your holiness, it will manifest in your actions without you being conscious of it.

Humility is not thinking less of yourself. It is not thinking of yourself at all.

New Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us how to receive grace and peace multiplied to us by receiving revelations of Jesus concealed in the Scriptures, especially in the Old Testament.

Jesus is concealed in the lives of the Old Testament characters. Grace and peace are multiplied to you when you receive revelations of Jesus like these

2 Peter 1:2-3 - Grace and peace are one (singular tense). Grace is the unmerited favor of God. Shalom is peace in Hebrew and it is not just mental peace, but wholeness and completeness in every area.
Multiplication is much better than addition.
When you receive a revelation of Jesus, grace and peace are multiplied to you.
There is a lot of preaching about the need for godliness, but not enough preaching on the “life” part. Many just say that all the good things happen only in the afterlife. God richly supplies everything we need in life—including healing and provision.

“Grace to you and peace be multiplied in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, seeing that his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue,” (2 Peter‬ ‭1:2-3‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Matthew 16:15-18 - What is the rock? It is the revelation that “Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God”.

“He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. I also tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my assembly, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.” (Matthew‬ ‭16:15-18‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

John 8:56-58 - Abraham had a vision of Jesus at the cross.

“Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day. He saw it and was glad.” The Jews therefore said to him, “You are not yet fifty years old! Have you seen Abraham?” Jesus said to them, “Most certainly, I tell you, before Abraham came into existence, I AM.”” (John‬ ‭8:56-58‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

When Abraham was about to plunge his knife into Isaac on Mount Moriah, God stopped him and said, “Now I know that you love me because you have not withheld your only son from me.” God never wanted a human sacrifice—it was just a test to show that Abraham had faith in God.

How do we know that God loves us? He did not withhold His only Son whom He loves from us. He delivered Jesus up at the cross for us.

God provided a ram as a substitute. Why did it have to be an adult ram as a sacrifice? The ram was caught in the thicket by its horns showing that it purposely let itself be caught. It cannot be caught by its fur because it would be lacerated and become a blemished sacrifice. Jesus purposely laid down His life and He is an unblemished sacrifice for our sins.

Jesus told John in the Book of Revelation that He is the Alpha and the Omega. He wouldn’t have spoken in Greek to His fellow Jew. In Hebrew, it is “Aleph Tav”. That is His divine signature hidden in the Old Testament.

In the first line of the Scriptures (Book of Genesis), you can find Aleph Tav untranslated there. Jesus the Son of God created and brought forth the heavens and the earth.

The life of Joseph in the Bible is the clearest type of Jesus. Read it and see the many parallels.

Why did David bring the head of Goliath all the way to Jerusalem when Jerusalem was still under the Jebusites? God probably told him to bury it in that area. The place “Golgotha” (place of a skull) is probably the burial place of the Goliath’s head.

David conquered a natural enemy but Jesus conquered a greater enemy, Satan, at the cross. Jesus crushed the head of the serpent at the cross.

David’s journey before he ascended to the throne represents our time now when we are following Jesus in His days of rejection. We who follow Him now will rule with Him when He reigns on the earth in the future.

Solomon’s reign represents Jesus’ reign during the Millennium. It will be a time of great prosperity for the whole world.

In the story of Samson, we see Jesus in the contrast. Samson tied two foxes together and lit their tails on fire, setting them loose upon the Philistine’s harvests. It is like how Jesus sent His disciples two by two to evangelize and bring in harvests of souls.

In Samson’s death, he pushed the two pillars and the whole temple of Dagon collapsed onto the prominent people in the Philistine kingdom. He killed more in his death than in his life. Likewise, Jesus saved more people through His death at the cross than all the healings He did during His life.

Ezekiel 3:1-3 - God’s word is pleasant and sweet to the soul, and it is health to the bones.

“He said to me, “Son of man, eat what you find. Eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.” So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat the scroll. He said to me, “Son of man, eat this scroll that I give you and fill your belly and your bowels with it.” Then I ate it. It was as sweet as honey in my mouth.” (Ezekiel‬ ‭3:1-3‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Song of Songs 2:3 - The apple represents Jesus. Apple is good to eat for life and health. The Hebrew word for apple, tappuach, originates from the Hebrew word for “breath” (naphach) like the breath of God that gave Adam life. No wonder there is a saying in the world that “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”.

“As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, his fruit was sweet to my taste.” (Song of Solomon‬ ‭2:3‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)
