God wants to heal your mind in 2023.

Isaiah 59:14-17 - We still live on a fallen earth. Sometimes untimely events happen, even premature death. This is not God’s will, but sometimes things like that happen and it hurts. We have the strong consolation that our departed loved ones in Christ are with Jesus. It is not a loss but a win for them either way.

“Justice is turned away backward, and righteousness stands far away; for truth has fallen in the street, and uprightness can’t enter. Yes, truth is lacking; and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. Yahweh saw it, and it displeased him that there was no justice. He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor. Therefore his own arm brought salvation to him; and his righteousness sustained him. He put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation on his head. He put on garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a mantle.” (Isaiah‬ ‭59‬:‭14‬-‭17‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Ephesians 6:10-13 - When you put on the armor of God, you look like God and strike fear into the hearts of your spiritual enemies.
God wants you to wear His armor because there is spiritual warfare. Make sure you put on the whole armor and don’t miss out on any pieces.

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” (Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭10‬-‭13‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Ephesians 6:14-20 - You put on the armor of God by believing. It is about faith.
Salvation is what Jesus did for us, to deliver us from sin’s penalty and power.
The “word of God” here is referring to “rhema” (what God is currently saying), not “logos” (the word of God that has been revealed).
When you pray in tongues (praying in the Spirit), the enemy trembles in fear because it is how you activate the sword of the Spirit.

“Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints. Pray for me, that utterance may be given to me in opening my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the Good News, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.” (Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭14‬-‭20‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Believe in the Gospel and pray in tongues. The Holy Spirit will fight against your spiritual enemies for you.

Luke 24:49 - When you receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, you will be clothed with power from on high.
When you have been baptized in the Spirit, you will have the evidence of speaking in tongues.

“Behold, I send out the promise of my Father on you. But wait in the city of Jerusalem until you are clothed with power from on high.”” (Luke‬ ‭24‬:‭49‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Acts 5:12-16 - The spiritual gifts have not ceased. This mighty move of the Holy Spirit’s gifts happened in the early church and is still happening today.
Everyone who came to them were healed. None remained sick!

“By the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. They were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch. None of the rest dared to join them; however, the people honored them. More believers were added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women. They even carried out the sick into the streets and laid them on cots and mattresses, so that as Peter came by, at least his shadow might overshadow some of them. The multitude also came together from the cities around Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits; and they were all healed.” (Acts‬ ‭5‬:‭12‬-‭16‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Mark 16:17-18 - Speaking in tongues has not ceased. The spiritual gifts are still in operation.

“These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages; they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will in no way hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”” (Mark‬ ‭16‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Romans 8:26-28 - This is about praying in tongues.
The Lord taught Pastor Lawrence to pray in tongues when he didn’t know what to pray about.
The apostle Paul said not to forbid speaking in tongues. He also said that he spoke in tongues more than all the believers in the Corinthian church which was very zealous about the gift of speaking in tongues.

“In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit’s mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.” (Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭26‬-‭28‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Acts 10:43-46 - When the Gentiles received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, they spoke in tongues. This is the evidence that they have been baptized in the Spirit.

“All the prophets testify about him, that through his name everyone who believes in him will receive remission of sins.” While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all those who heard the word. They of the circumcision who believed were amazed, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit was also poured out on the Gentiles. For they heard them speaking in other languages and magnifying God. Then Peter answered,” (Acts‬ ‭10‬:‭43‬-‭46‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Romans 11:26-27 - This is quoting Isaiah 59:20. This tells us that Isaiah’s prophecy is referring to the New Covenant of Grace.

“and so all Israel will be saved. Even as it is written, “There will come out of Zion the Deliverer, and he will turn away ungodliness from Jacob. This is my covenant with them, when I will take away their sins.”” (Romans‬ ‭11‬:‭26‬-‭27‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Isaiah 59:19-21 - By believing in the Gospel and praying in tongues, the Holy Spirit will fight your battles against your enemies.

“So shall they fear The name of the Lord from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. “The Redeemer will come to Zion, And to those who turn from transgression in Jacob,” Says the Lord. “As for Me,” says the Lord, “this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants,” says the Lord, “from this time and forevermore.”” (Isaiah‬ ‭59‬:‭19‬-‭21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Isaiah 60:1 - God’s glory will be seen upon you when you continue believing in the Gospel and praying in tongues. Continue in these two important things.

““Arise, shine; for your light has come, and Yahweh’s glory has risen on you!” (Isaiah‬ ‭60‬:‭1‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

The baptism of the Holy Spirit is can be imparted by the laying on of hands and prayer like the apostle Paul did at times in the Bible.
