26 February 2023 - Exchange Natural Strength For Divine Strength - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon Notes

New Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us not to resign to natural facts about aging but to believe God for His supernatural empowerment in our bodies for renewal of youth.

Pastor Prince released words of knowledge for gifts of healings for the following conditions:

Heart arrhythmia
Shortness of breath
Pain in the right side lower back
Knee conditions
Liver condition that was diagnosed by doctor
Fatigue
Dark and bruised toe
Elbow condition
Neck condition and stiff neck that could not turn
Acid reflux and gastritis

We will not go through the Great Tribulation. We will be looking down from Heaven at the Tribulation happening on earth.

The church is not waiting for the Tribulation, but for the Rapture. During the Rapture, we will receive our glorified bodies and we will be immortal forever.

Logos is a general word (the whole Scripture), whereas rhema is a more specific utterance from God for a particular time and season. The word in season that God has breathed upon.

1 Chronicles 12:32 - The word “times” here is “eth” in Hebrew and “kairos” in Greek. The rhema word released by Pastor Prince is for those who sit under his ministry.

“Of the children of Issachar, men who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, their heads were two hundred; and all their brothers were at their command.” (1 Chronicles‬ ‭12‬:‭32‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Leviticus 27:1-8 - A vow to God is a picture of man’s strength and effort. God wants us to know our weakness and rely on His strength and grace.
Grace will empower us to do more than what the Law demands. For example, instead of merely not committing adultery, Grace will cause husbands to love their wives just as Christ loved the church.
This valuation is in the context of capacity for war, not in terms of standing or worth before God.
In the natural and in general, a man has more capacity for war than a woman has. In general, a younger person has more capacity for war than an elderly person. The Law is about natural strength.
Let the priest (a picture of Jesus and Grace) assign the valuation for you. Don’t stand before Moses (a picture of the Law).
God wants you healthy, strong, and living in the supernatural, not limited to the natural valuation.

“Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘When a man consecrates a person to Yahweh in a vow, according to your valuation, your valuation of a male from twenty years old to sixty years old shall be fifty shekels of silver, according to the shekel of the sanctuary. If she is a female, then your valuation shall be thirty shekels. If the person is from five years old to twenty years old, then your valuation shall be for a male twenty shekels, and for a female ten shekels. If the person is from a month old to five years old, then your valuation shall be for a male five shekels of silver, and for a female your valuation shall be three shekels of silver. If the person is from sixty years old and upward; if he is a male, then your valuation shall be fifteen shekels, and for a female ten shekels. But if he is poorer than your valuation, then he shall be set before the priest, and the priest shall assign a value to him. The priest shall assign a value according to his ability to pay.” (Leviticus‬ ‭27‬:‭1‬-‭8‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

New Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us not to resign to natural facts about aging but to believe God for His supernatural empowerment in our bodies for renewal of youth.

Our trust is in God's promises and receiving His strength, not in natural human strength or mere facts

Deuteronomy 34:7 - Moses was not weak or feeble when he died.

“Moses was one hundred twenty years old when he died. His eye was not dim, nor his strength gone.” (Deuteronomy‬ ‭34‬:‭7‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Genesis 18:1, 6-7 - Abraham could still run when he was very old (in the chapter before, it was revealed that he was already 99 years old).

“Yahweh appeared to him by the oaks of Mamre, as he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day…Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah, and said, “Quickly prepare three seahs of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes.” Abraham ran to the herd, and fetched a tender and good calf, and gave it to the servant. He hurried to dress it.” (Genesis‬ ‭18‬:‭1‬, ‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Genesis 18:10-15 - Abraham and Sarah did not have special bodies. They grew old, and Sarah had already gone through menopause.

“He said, “I will certainly return to you at about this time next year; and behold, Sarah your wife will have a son.” Sarah heard in the tent door, which was behind him. Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age. Sarah had passed the age of childbearing. Sarah laughed within herself, saying, “After I have grown old will I have pleasure, my Lord being old also?” Yahweh said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Will I really bear a child when I am old?’ Is anything too hard for Yahweh? At the set time I will return to you, when the season comes around, and Sarah will have a son.” Then Sarah denied it, saying, “I didn’t laugh,” for she was afraid. He said, “No, but you did laugh.”” (Genesis‬ ‭18‬:‭10‬-‭15‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Romans 4:19-21 - At a 100 years old, the natural fact was that Abraham’s body was already worn out and Sarah’s womb at 90 years old age was deadened. Something happened to them: renewal of youth.

“Without being weakened in faith, he didn’t consider his own body, already having been worn out, (he being about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. Yet, looking to the promise of God, he didn’t waver through unbelief, but grew strong through faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what he had promised, he was also able to perform.” (Romans‬ ‭4‬:‭19‬-‭21‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Genesis 17:4-5 - Abram means “high father” while Abraham means “father of multitudes”. God calls the things that are not as though they are.

““As for me, behold, my covenant is with you. You will be the father of a multitude of nations. Your name will no more be called Abram, but your name will be Abraham; for I have made you the father of a multitude of nations.” (Genesis‬ ‭17‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭29‬-‭31‬ - If you are confident in your natural youth, it has an expiry date. Even the youths faint, get weary, and utterly fall. We need to go to God for an exchange of strength: our human strength for His divine strength.

“He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall; but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭29‬-‭31‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Psalms 103:1-5 - Physical youth renewal is one of the benefits that God confers upon us.

“Praise Yahweh, my soul! All that is within me, praise his holy name! Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your desire with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” (Psalms‬ ‭103‬:‭1‬-‭5‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Joshua‬ ‭14‬:‭10‬-‭13 - Caleb was not kidding. At the age of 85 he was just as strong for war as he was 45 years ago. God kept renewing Joshua’s youth. Joshua kept believing and confessing God’s promises to him.

““Now, behold, Yahweh has kept me alive, as he spoke, these forty-five years, from the time that Yahweh spoke this word to Moses, while Israel walked in the wilderness. Now, behold, I am eighty-five years old, today. As yet I am as strong today as I was in the day that Moses sent me. As my strength was then, even so is my strength now for war, to go out and to come in. Now therefore give me this hill country, of which Yahweh spoke in that day; for you heard in that day how the Anakim were there, and great and fortified cities. It may be that Yahweh will be with me, and I shall drive them out, as Yahweh said.” Joshua blessed him; and he gave Hebron to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for an inheritance.” (Joshua‬ ‭14‬:‭10‬-‭13‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

2 Corinthians‬ ‭4‬:‭13 - We will have what we say. Faith is about believing and speaking.
A lot of people grow old because they complain.
We are supposed to live in the supernatural. Be quick to praise, not quick to criticize. It is common to complain, but holy to praise.

“But having the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written, “I believed, and therefore I spoke.” We also believe, and therefore we also speak,” (2 Corinthians‬ ‭4‬:‭13‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Romans 10:8-10 - It was so difficult for Jesus to purchase salvation for you but so easy for you to receive. The word is near you. Just confess and believe God’s word.

“But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart;” that is, the word of faith which we preach: that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation.” (Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭8‬-‭10‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

I highly recommend purchasing Pastor Prince's sermons on his mobile app "Joseph Prince" on Apple App Store or Google Play Store even after you read these notes as I may have missed out something he shared and the overall experience is definitely different when you listen to him preaching directly!
Use these notes as a revision guide instead of solely depending on them!

These sermon notes are independently-compiled by me, and I'm just a loyal and regular attendee of the the church's Sunday services, and I feel led to take detailed personal sermon notes of Pastor Prince's anointed messages to share them with the world, which desperately needs the true word of God and the original gospel of grace.
