New Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us how to receive God’s mighty power to work in and through us by humbling ourselves and receiving purely through prayer.

We are spirit beings who live in a body.

The world looks down, expecting death to come for them, but we look up, expecting our bodily redemption from God.

To live eternally with God we must be born again through faith in Jesus Christ.

Pastor Prince ministered in words of knowledge for healing:

Healing for joint conditions.

Someone who had pain in the lower back was healed.

Woman healed of pain in the wrist.

Man whose shoulder joint popped out was healed and now he can rotate his arm fully.

Woman who could not straighten up her back was healed and can finally stand up straight.

Woman was healed of a twitch in her leg.

Healing for intestinal area, stomach, womb, tumors, and growths.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 - The word translated as “time” here is “kairos” in Greek in the Septuagint.
God will cause what is ugly to become beautiful in this Kairos Year of Right Time Right Place.

“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in their hearts, yet so that man can’t find out the work that God has done from the beginning even to the end.” (Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3‬:‭11‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

If possible, come to attend the services in person. There is no replacement for the corporate anointing that is present when God’s people are gathered together to worship the Lord.

Galatians 6:9 - The words translated as “due season” is actually “kairos” in Greek. There is a due season for you to reap the good harvest of what you have sown.

“Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don’t give up.” (Galatians‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

The world will get darker and darker but for God’s people we will experience His favor in this Kairos year.

Pray to receive God’s qarah and kairos moments by His grace

​In the four gospels, Jesus was always unhurried. He only had two paces: slow and slower.

The way Jesus gives to us is like family, not like a benefactor. He is close and personal, like a Father.

Jesus was napping amidst the mega storm, and He only woke up because His disciples were afraid. Jesus rebuked the storm and there was a mega calm. He calmed the storm in the disciples’ hearts.

Pray for the Holy Spirit to strengthen you in the inner man with all might for all endurance (against adversity), patience (with other people), and joy.

When any cities rejected Jesus, He just walked away and moved on. It was their loss anyway. Their deaf and blind people remained unhealed.

When feeling irritated, turn the spotlight away from others and onto yourself. Judge that irritability in your heart.

Jesus lived at an unhurried rhythm of grace and yet He accomplished much more than any man in three and a half years.

Jesus listened to people. He has a hearing heart.

As a husband, be quick to listen to your wife and slow to speak. That is wisdom. Sometimes what she needs is just someone to hear her pour out her heart and not your solutions.

The apostle Paul once rebuked the High Priest of Israel unknowingly and he had to apologize for that. Jesus never had to retrace a step or say sorry. He never makes mistakes. When you follow Jesus, you are following the perfect winner.

Genesis 24:12 - Abraham’s servant did not trust his own experience. He prayed for success. The word “success” here is “qarah” in Hebrew which means “right happening”.

“He said, “Yahweh, the God of my master Abraham, please give me success today, and show kindness to my master Abraham.” (Genesis‬ ‭24‬:‭12‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Genesis 24:15-16 - This was during the time of evening when usually the women would come out to draw water at the well. Somehow only Rebekah came out, before Abraham’s servant even finished praying.

“Before he had finished speaking, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel the son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham’s brother, with her pitcher on her shoulder. The young lady was very beautiful to look at, a virgin. No man had known her. She went down to the spring, filled her pitcher, and came up.” (Genesis‬ ‭24‬:‭15‬-‭16‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Isaiah 65:24 - God gives you the desire to pray for what He has already prepared in advance for you.

“It will happen that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.” (Isaiah‬ ‭65‬:‭24‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Genesis 24:42 - The word “prosper” here is “tsalach” in Hebrew. When Abraham’s servant recounted his prayer here, he said tsalach instead.
To prosper is to have right happenings in one’s life. It is not always about money.

“I came today to the spring, and said, ‘Yahweh, the God of my master Abraham, if now you do prosper my way which I go—” (Genesis‬ ‭24‬:‭42‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Prayer does not mean praying for a long time. It is simply talking to God. You can just talk to Him at any time, whenever you want. See yourself as already so near to God without needing to psych yourself into that place of nearness.

Grace is unearned, unmerited, undeserved favor. You must be conscious of your own weakness, and that you need to rely on God. God’s grace is made perfect in your weakness. Depend on prayer, not on your smarts or experience.

Being prideful is often a precursor to a fall. Grace flows to the humble and lowly of heart.

Judge 3:31 - Shamgar used a weak weapon to defeat six hundred Philistine men.
God uses weak things and weak people to defeat prideful enemies who boast in their flesh.

“After him was Shamgar the son of Anath, who struck six hundred men of the Philistines with an ox goad. He also saved Israel.” (Judges‬ ‭3‬:‭31‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Judge 4:19-21 - God used an untrained woman to defeat the feared captain Sisera with a simple tent peg and a hammer.

“He said to her, “Please give me a little water to drink; for I am thirsty.” She opened a container of milk, and gave him a drink, and covered him. He said to her, “Stand in the door of the tent, and if any man comes and inquires of you, and says, ‘Is there any man here?’ you shall say, ‘No.’” Then Jael, Heber’s wife, took a tent peg, and took a hammer in her hand, and went softly to him, and struck the pin into his temples, and it pierced through into the ground, for he was in a deep sleep; so he fainted and died.” (Judges‬ ‭4‬:‭19‬-‭21‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

The Lord called Gideon a valiant man while he was hiding. The Lord chose him to deliver Israel from enemies when he was from the weakest family in the smallest tribe in Israel. Your natural disqualifications are your qualifications to be used by God.

2 Corinthians 4:7 - Our flesh is weak but we have God’s power working inside us to lift us up.

“But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God and not from ourselves.” (2 Corinthians‬ ‭4‬:‭7‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Ecclesiastes 12:11 - Our children need our godly corrections and discipline to be guided in the right direction. Your words have weight (glory) from God.

“The words of the wise are like goads; and like nails well fastened are words from the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.” (Ecclesiastes‬ ‭12‬:‭11‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)
