New Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us the importance of seeking Jesus for wisdom this year, and the amazing blessings that come from receiving understanding of God’s word.

God’s eyes are on you to bring about good in your life.

We are still in the times of the Gentiles.

We can enjoy food and drinks, but not excessively until it becomes gluttony or drunkenness.

God’s love is with us for every step in 2023. We do not know what the future holds but we know who holds the future.

Death and bad things happen in this world because of Adam’s sin. We live on a fallen earth.

We need to press through in faith and prayer until we see our breakthrough.

Jesus was not satisfied with the woman with the issue of blood receiving a blessing secretly. He wanted her to know that God wants her to be healed, so He called her out from the crowd and affirmed her.

In all things, Jesus has the preeminence. His love is better than wine.

When parents brought their children to Jesus and asked Him just to touch them, He exceeded that and embraced them. He exceeds us in everything.

Those who are in Heaven now are disembodied but they are happy and at peace with their departed loved ones who are in Christ.

The only part of redemption we are still waiting for now is the redemption of our mortal bodies. This will happen when the Rapture happens.

I am a spirit, I have a soul (my emotions and mind), and I live in a body.

Long before the body breaks down, the spirit has been troubled and down.

When a person receives Jesus as Lord, he is born again in the spirit.

When a person is saved, it is eternally. It is not a probational salvation.

We became righteous by being born again as a righteous new creation in Christ, in the class of God’s family.

God told Pastor Prince that he should pray for everyone attending the service to have a brand new mind.

Adam sinned in a perfect environment (the Garden of Eden). Jesus (the Last Adam) obeyed God in a desolate environment of the wilderness.

Suniemi: Put two and two together

​Luke 2:51-52 - Jesus did not walk and function as God when He was on earth, even though He always is the Son of God.
He increased and grew as a man.

“And he went down with them and came to Nazareth. He was subject to them, and his mother kept all these sayings in her heart. And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.” (Luke‬ ‭2‬:‭51‬-‭52‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Infants in the womb get all the blood from their father, not from the mother. The placenta only transfers food and waste, but not blood. Jesus was born with sinless blood.

Confessing your faith is how you release faith.

Start confessing that you have the mind of Christ. Do not declare that you are growing old or dying already.

Galatians 3:13-14 - Forgetfulness is happening because of the curse.
Do not just passively accept bad things happening to you. Confess God’s promises by faith.

“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,” that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” (Galatians‬ ‭3‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

1 Timothy 1:18 - It is a good warfare because we win in the end.

“I commit this instruction to you, my child Timothy, according to the prophecies which were given to you before, that by them you may wage the good warfare,” (1 Timothy‬ ‭1‬:‭18‬ ‭WEBUS‬)

John 10:10 - Jesus came to die so that we would have life and life more abundantly.
Before the devil can kill and destroy, he has to steal the word of God from your heart first.

“The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.” (John‬ ‭10‬:‭10‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Matthew 13:18-19 - The word “understands” is “suniemi” in Greek which means “to put two and two together”.

““Hear, then, the parable of the farmer. When anyone hears the word of the Kingdom and doesn’t understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away that which has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown by the roadside.” (Matthew‬ ‭13‬:‭18‬-‭19‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Matthew 13:23 - Pharaoh and Nebuchadnezzar received profound dreams from God but they needed Joseph and Daniel to “suniemi” those revelations.
The pagan kings did not have the gift to translate the revelations.

“What was sown on the good ground, this is he who hears the word and understands it, who most certainly bears fruit and produces, some one hundred times as much, some sixty, and some thirty.”” (Matthew‬ ‭13‬:‭23‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Matthew 13:15-17 - This is what the devil wants, to cause people to be unable to receive God’s word.
If you fulfill the condition of understanding God’s word, you will experience God’s healing.

“for this people’s heart has grown callous, their ears are dull of hearing, and they have closed their eyes; or else perhaps they might perceive with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and would turn again, and I would heal them.’ “But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear. For most certainly I tell you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see the things which you see, and didn’t see them; and to hear the things which you hear, and didn’t hear them.” (Matthew‬ ‭13‬:‭15‬-‭17‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Proverbs 4:20-22 - Keep meditating on God’s word by His grace. These words are life to your whole body.

“My son, attend to my words. Turn your ear to my sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes. Keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and health to their whole body.” (Proverbs‬ ‭4‬:‭20‬-‭22‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Proverbs 3:16-17 - Wisdom is like a woman with two hands. When you embrace her, she embraces you back with all these blessings.

“Length of days is in her right hand. In her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness. All her paths are peace.” (Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

1 Kings 3:9-10 - God was pleased when Solomon asked Him for wisdom.

“Give your servant therefore an understanding heart to judge your people, that I may discern between good and evil; for who is able to judge this great people of yours?” This request pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing.” (1 Kings‬ ‭3‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

1 Kings‬ ‭3‬:‭11‬-‭14 - Solomon asked God for wisdom and he received the left hand of Wisdom, but not the right hand because it came with a condition.
Now under the New Covenant of Grace, Jesus is our right hand and we have length of days through Him.
Psalm 91 says that God will satisfy us with long life.

“God said to him, “Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked for yourself long life, nor have you asked for riches for yourself, nor have you asked for the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice, behold, I have done according to your word. Behold, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has been no one like you before you, and after you none will arise like you. I have also given you that which you have not asked, both riches and honor, so that there will not be any among the kings like you for all your days. If you will walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as your father David walked, then I will lengthen your days.”” (1 Kings‬ ‭3‬:‭11‬-‭14‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Genesis 41:32-34 - The Greek version of this passage says “suniemi” where it says “wise”.

“The dream was doubled to Pharaoh, because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass. “Now therefore let Pharaoh look for a discreet and wise man, and set him over the land of Egypt. Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint overseers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt’s produce in the seven plenteous years.” (Genesis‬ ‭41‬:‭32‬-‭34‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Genesis 41:37-40 - Pharaoh repeated the same words back to Joseph.

“The thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants. Pharaoh said to his servants, “Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom is the Spirit of God?” Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Because God has shown you all of this, there is no one so discreet and wise as you. You shall be over my house. All my people will be ruled according to your word. Only in the throne I will be greater than you.”” (Genesis‬ ‭41‬:‭37‬-‭40‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

1 Kings 3:14-15 - The Ark of the Covenant represents Jesus. The gold is His divinity and the wood is His humanity.
Wise men still seek Him.

“If you will walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as your father David walked, then I will lengthen your days.” Solomon awoke; and behold, it was a dream. Then he came to Jerusalem and stood before the ark of Yahweh’s covenant, and offered up burnt offerings, offered peace offerings, and made a feast for all his servants.” (1 Kings‬ ‭3‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

I highly recommend purchasing Pastor Prince's sermons on his mobile app "Joseph Prince" on Apple App Store or Google Play Store even after you read these notes as I may have missed out something he shared and the overall experience is definitely different when you listen to him preaching directly!

These sermon notes are independently-compiled by me, and I'm just a loyal and regular attendee of the the church's Sunday services, and I feel led to take detailed personal sermon notes of Pastor Prince's anointed messages to share them with the world, which desperately needs the true word of God and the original gospel of grace.

I feel blessed to be able to attend Pastor Joseph Prince's services in person, and would like to help everyone who isn't able to attend in person, to get hold of the messages as soon as it is preached!​​​
