10 January 2021 - Hazon Vision is the Missing Element - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon Notes

Pastor Joseph Prince taught us that hazon vision is the missing element in our lives. It is the reason why we haven’t experienced the fulfillment of what we are praying for. The image we see inside has to change first before we can experience the breakthrough outwardly.

Proverbs 29:18a - People think that they are unhappy because they lack other things, but the missing thing is hazon vision. It is talking about a prophetic vision from the Lord.
God is giving us hazon visions this year.
The church is afraid of seeking visions because of the existence of false visions from false prophets, but God is restoring hazon visions to the church.

“Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint...” (Proverbs‬ ‭29:18‬a NKJV‬‬)

1 Samuel 3:1 - Eli means “my God”. In the New Testament, the focus is on “Avi” which is “my Father”.
This story is prophetic of the transition in our times from seeing God as distant, to close as a Father.
Who are you when no one is looking? That is the fruit of the New Covenant Gospel working in you.

“The child Samuel ministered to Yahweh before Eli. Yahweh’s word was precious in those days. There visions were not frequent.” (1 Samuel‬ ‭3:1‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Matthew 27:46 - Jesus called God “My God”, so that we can call God “My Abba, Father”.

“About the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lima sabachthani?” That is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”” (Matthew‬ ‭27:46‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Galatian 4:6 - We get to call God “Abba”.

“And because you are children, God sent out the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, “Abba, Father!”” (Galatians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Galatians 5:16 - Walking in the Spirit is also walking in vision, seeing what God is showing us on the inside.

“But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh.” (Galatians‬ ‭5:16‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Acts 10:38 - Jesus is the pattern man for us. Even though He is God, He functioned as a Man anointed with the Holy Spirit.
Every miracle that Jesus did was by the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

“even Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.” (Acts‬ ‭10:38‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

John 5:3 - Whoever managed to get into the pool of Bethesda first when the angel stirred the pool would be healed. This denotes some strength needed from the men. This is a picture of receiving miracles from the Lord under the Law.
However, Grace is attracted to our weaknesses, not our strengths.
Although there were so many sick people at the pool, the Father sovereignly led Jesus to heal that one man who was crippled for 38 years.

“In these lay a great multitude of those who were sick, blind, lame, or paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water;” (John‬ ‭5:3‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

John 5:19-20 - The Father showed Jesus visions from inside. Jesus just operated based on what His Father showed Him.
The Lord is going to show you greater things that you may marvel.
Jesus did not presumptuously go everywhere randomly and heal everyone. He was led by His Father.
Despite this, we know that God’s will is to heal everyone, from seeing scenes of the multitudes touching Jesus and all of them getting healed.
It’s just that there is a right timing for everyone.

“Jesus therefore answered them, “Most certainly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father doing. For whatever things he does, these the Son also does likewise. For the Father has affection for the Son, and shows him all things that he himself does. He will show him greater works than these, that you may marvel.” (John‬ ‭5:19-20‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The world will get darker and darker, but the church of Jesus Christ will shine brighter and brighter.

God is restoring relationships this year. If you think a person has been lost to you, God is restoring that person and relationship in Jesus’ name.

Acts 2:1 - When the Law was given, 3000 people died at the foot of Mount Sinai. When Grace was given, 3000 souls were saved on the Day of Pentecost when Peter preached to the multitudes.
This shows that the letter (the Ten Commandments) kills whereas the Spirit (Grace—the ministry of the Holy Spirit) gives life.

“Now when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all with one accord in one place.” (Acts‬ ‭2:1‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

A hazon vision transcends time and space, allowing you to access the realm of timelessness

2 Corinthians 12:9 - God’s strength is made manifest in our weaknesses, not in our strengths.
Social media is not good for your mind if you believe every ‘highlight reel’ that you see.
The word translated as “power” here is “dunamis” in the Greek which also means “miracles”.

“He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.” (2 Corinthians‬ ‭12:9‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Acts 2:17 - The people thought that Peter and the disciples were drunk on wine. They were speaking in tongues and exuded the confidence and boldness of drunk men without any fear or worries.
A vision from God transcends time and space. We are still operating in the year of Time and Space (2020’s theme)—God does not take away. He adds on.
Dreams happen when you’re asleep, and visions happen when you’re awake. We will receive pictures inside our heart that come from God.
Those who are hungry to be disciples of the Lord will receive knowledge and the language of the Gospel in a short span of time this year.
It will be a regular thing for you to see visions and dreams from God. This is a great and powerful thing!
In the Old Testament they had “seers” who saw visions from the Lord. We will be able to see these regularly from God.

“‘It will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams.” (Acts‬ ‭2:17‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Habakkuk 2:3 - Some visions will happen quickly, while some will tarry, but God makes all things beautiful for you in His appointed time.

“For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won’t delay.” (Habakkuk‬ ‭2:3‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Ephesians 1:16-20 - Your spiritual eyes are the “eyes of your heart”.
This is a prayer that you can pray constantly.
This is a Spirit-inspired prayer that we can pray over ourselves daily. Another example would be “the Lord’s Prayer”.
The spirit of wisdom and revelation refers to manifestations of the Holy Spirit.
The highest revelation you can receive is a revelation of Jesus Christ.
In the Spirit, you can see a revelation of Jesus’ majesty and beauty.
You are greatly blessed because you have a connection with God.
The word translated as “hearts” here is also sometimes translated as “imaginations”.
Children imagine a lot and when they grow up, due to societal conditioning, they become more reliant on the reasoning and logical part of the brain.
Everyone has a high calling in the Lord. Pray to know the “hope of your calling”.
The inheritance is “in” the saints. Not outside of them. You will see fulfillment of that this year.
God used the greatest strength and power to raise Jesus from the dead. This power will be at work in your life too.

“don’t cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him; having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might which he worked in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places,” (Ephesians‬ ‭1:16-20‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Revelation 1:4 - The Holy Spirit is one divine being that has a sevenfold manifestation.

“John, to the seven assemblies that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace, from God, who is and who was and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits who are before his throne;” (Revelation‬ ‭1:4‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Isaiah 11:1-2 - These are the seven manifestations of the Holy Spirit. They can form a picture of the seven branches of a menorah (lamp stand).

“A shoot will come out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots will bear fruit. Yahweh’s Spirit will rest on him: the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Yahweh. (Isaiah‬ ‭11:1-2‬ ‭WEB‬)

Exodus 31:1-5 - The manifestation of God in Bezalel was “wisdom, understanding, and knowledge”.
When God fills someone with His power and anointing, there is a trickle effect down that person’s descendants too, as we learn from Hebrews 7, in the story about Melchizedek.

“Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, “Behold, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all kinds of workmanship, to devise skillful works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all kinds of workmanship.” (Exodus‬ ‭31:1-5‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Habakkuk 2:1-2 - Position yourself. Set aside time for God to speak to you.
Get an empty notebook and bring it before the Lord. Watch and see what revelations God will show to you.
Habakkuk watched to “see” what God will say. In other words, to receive a vision from God.
Write these things down—have no trust in your flesh (your memory). Write down the revelations that God shows to you.

“I will stand my watch And set myself on the rampart, And watch to see what He will say to me, And what I will answer when I am corrected. Then the LORD answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.” (Habakkuk‬ ‭2:1-2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Isaiah 1:1 - The word “vision” is the Hebrew word “hazon” which refers to visions that come from God. The word translated as “saw” is “hazah” in Hebrew which is the verb form of hazon.

“The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah. (Isaiah‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Acts 9:10-12 - When Saul was praying, he received a vision from the Lord.
Saul was physically blinded but he saw a vision inside with his spiritual eyes.
The first thing Saul saw when his eyes were opened was Ananias (meaning: the grace of God). That would be the theme of the rest of his life.

“Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision, “Ananias!” He said, “Behold, it’s me, Lord.” The Lord said to him, “Arise, and go to the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judah for one named Saul, a man of Tarsus. For behold, he is praying, and in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias coming in, and laying his hands on him, that he might receive his sight.”” (Acts‬ ‭9:10-12‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Habakkuk 1:1-4 - This passage is like the world’s cry right now. It’s almost like the law is powerless against the wickedness of men.
All of a sudden, the answer comes in Habakkuk chapter 2—write the vision down.
It is because of the lack of vision that you experience lack.
It is not for the lack of money or connections.

“The revelation which Habakkuk the prophet saw. Yahweh, how long will I cry, and you will not hear? I cry out to you “Violence!” and will you not save? Why do you show me iniquity, and look at perversity? For destruction and violence are before me. There is strife, and contention rises up. Therefore the law is paralyzed, and justice never prevails; for the wicked surround the righteous; therefore justice comes out perverted.” (Habakkuk‬ ‭1:1-4‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Genesis 13:14-15 - The provision is in the vision. What Abraham did not see would not be his.
God gives you a vision as if you are there already, even if it hasn’t happened chronologically yet.
When you live in the realm of vision, you’re living in the realm of timelessness.

“Yahweh said to Abram, after Lot was separated from him, “Now, lift up your eyes, and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward, for all the land which you see, I will give to you, and to your offspring forever.” (Genesis‬ ‭13:14-15‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Hebrew 11:27 - The word “endured” also implies Moses enduring physically. When you see Jesus, it will also keep you young. To see Jesus is to see life.
If you are experiencing sickness, look at Jesus, like how the children of Israel beheld the bronze serpent on the pole in the wilderness.
The moment you behold Jesus, your sickness begins to die. It still looks like it is there, but the root of your sickness is already dead.

“By faith, he left Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.” (Hebrews‬ ‭11:27‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Deuteronomy 34:7 - When Moses died at the age of 120, his eyes were not dim and his strength not gone. Beholding God kept him physically young and strong.

“Moses was one hundred twenty years old when he died. His eye was not dim, nor his strength gone.” (Deuteronomy‬ ‭34:7‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Pastor Prince released words of knowledge for healing:
Growths disappearing in the stomach.
Three dark spots in an X-ray of lungs. That person is healed and experiencing a breath of fresh air, like menthol.
Deaf ears opened in Jesus’ name.
A toe all blackened and dead is healed.
God can resurrect your lost hair. Hair follicles resurrected and made luxuriant.
