1 Chronicles 12:32 - Today’s sermon is about understanding the times.

“Of the children of Issachar, men who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, their heads were two hundred; and all their brothers were at their command.” (1 Chronicles‬ ‭12:32‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Matthew 24:12 - We live in such a time.

“Because iniquity will be multiplied, the love of many will grow cold.” (Matthew‬ ‭24:12‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Luke 18:8 - Man is creating things to meet their own needs, casting aside the basic and fundamental things of God.

“I tell you that he will avenge them quickly. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”(Luke‬ ‭18:8‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Romans 6:23 - There is no such thing as lying or stealing for the greater good. Sin is sin and it produces death.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans‬ ‭6:23‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

2 Timothy 3:1-3 - This is what many people are like these days.

“But know this, that in the last days, grievous times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, not lovers of good,” (2 Timothy‬ ‭3:1-3‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Proverbs 28:22 - Acceleration is God’s part. We do need not to try and accelerate our own blessings. Our part is to rest in Him and in Jesus’ finished work at the cross.

“A man with an evil eye hastens after riches, And does not consider that poverty will come upon him.” (Proverbs‬ ‭28:22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Isaiah 53:4 - Jesus bore our sicknesses and diseases at the cross so that we can receive healing.

“Surely he has borne our sickness, and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted.” (Isaiah‬ ‭53:4‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Matthew 8:17 - Jesus paid for our physical healing, not just spiritual healing.

“that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, “He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases.”” (Matthew‬ ‭8:17‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Genesis 26:18 - The devil is trying to cover up God’s truths so that believers remain defeated.

“Isaac dug again the wells of water, which they had dug in the days of Abraham his father. For the Philistines had stopped them after the death of Abraham. He called their names after the names by which his father had called them.” (Genesis‬ ‭26:18‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Amos 9:11 - God is repairing the breaches today. He is uncovering what the devil tried to cover up.

“In that day I will raise up the tent of David who is fallen, and close up its breaches, and I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old;” (Amos‬ ‭9:11‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Hebrew 10:19-20 - Now when we go to God, it is a new and living way.

“Having therefore, brothers, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;” (Hebrews‬ ‭10:19-20‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Focus on seeing Jesus in the Scriptures—it is life to your whole body

1 Thessalonians 4:15 - There are those who are alive because they are young, but there will also be those who remain alive because of God’s power. There will be a revelation that causes believers in the Rapture generation to remain alive.

“For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.” (I Thessalonians‬ ‭4:15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 - This is the Rapture.

“For this we tell you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left to the coming of the Lord, will in no way precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with God’s trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore comfort one another with these words.” (1 Thessalonians‬ ‭4:15-18‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Philippians 3:11 - Paul was looking forward to the Rapture (the resurrection from the dead).

“if by any means I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.” (Philippians‬ ‭3:11‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Philippians 1:23-25 - It seems like Paul had discovered something that allowed him to choose whether to depart or remain. Paul could not die by sickness because he was too full of resurrection life, so he chose to depart by martyrdom—a death that glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ.

“But I am in a dilemma between the two, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. Yet, to remain in the flesh is more needful for your sake. Having this confidence, I know that I will remain, yes, and remain with you all, for your progress and joy in the faith,” (Philippians‬ ‭1:23-25‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

1 Corinthians 15:53 - The only thing you receive in the Rapture is an immortal body. Every other blessing can be received in this mortal lifetime.

“For this perishable body must become imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality.” (1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:53‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Hebrews 2:14-15 - We do not need healing in Heaven. There is no sickness or disease in Heaven. Many people have a fear of physical death. If you have this fear, you will be subject to bondage for your entire life.
David decapitated Goliath with Goliath’s own sword. Similarly, Jesus defeated the devil through His own death. The devil does not have the power of death anymore.

“Since then the children have shared in flesh and blood, he also himself in the same way partook of the same, that through death he might bring to nothing him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might deliver all of them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” (Hebrews‬ ‭2:14-15‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

God has chosen to release His spiritual gifts through His church. He sends people to share the Gospel.

Proverbs 4:20-22 - A man of God, George Mueller, lived until the age of ninety three, and he had no aches or pains in his body. He attributed his health to the recuperative power of God’s word.
God’s word is medicine (in the Hebrew, the word translated as "health" is "marpe" which means medicine) to all your flesh that had no side effects.
Mueller said his first job was to keep his soul happy in God’s word before going on to meet the challenges of daily life.

“My son, attend to my words. Turn your ear to my sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes. Keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and health to their whole body.” (Proverbs‬ ‭4:20-22‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Joshua 14:10-11 - At the age of eighty-five, Caleb was as physically strong as he was back when he was forty. He was still fit for war!
If you are faithful to God, He will even stop time for you, just like He did for Caleb. Caleb went through the wilderness for forty years with the children of Israel, but he did not become old or weak.

““Now, behold, Yahweh has kept me alive, as he spoke, these forty-five years, from the time that Yahweh spoke this word to Moses, while Israel walked in the wilderness. Now, behold, I am eighty-five years old, today. As yet I am as strong today as I was in the day that Moses sent me. As my strength was then, even so is my strength now for war, to go out and to come in.” (Joshua‬ ‭14:10-11‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

James 1:17 - God does not send sickness and disease. Yet, He has the power to stop the pandemic at any time.
Pastor Prince believes that God’s people is undergoing some chastisement. Now we are longing for gathering together in the local church so that we will not take it for granted like before.
The good thing that has happened is that God has made it possible for people to receive the preaching of God’s word from the ease of their own homes through online services. More souls are won for God’s Kingdom than before.

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.” (James‬ ‭1:17‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Joshua 14:12 - Caleb, this eighty-five year old man defeated the giants that were in Hebron.

“Now therefore give me this hill country, of which Yahweh spoke in that day; for you heard in that day how the Anakim were there, and great and fortified cities. It may be that Yahweh will be with me, and I shall drive them out, as Yahweh said.”” (Joshua‬ ‭14:12‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Psalm 90:9-10 - The context of this passage is that the children of Israel were under God’s wrath in the wilderness, so the seventy to eighty years of life was a judgment to them. We are not under His wrath, but under His favor.

“For all our days have passed away in your wrath. We bring our years to an end as a sigh. The days of our years are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty years; yet their pride is but labor and sorrow, for it passes quickly, and we fly away.” (Psalms‬ ‭90:9-10‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Isaiah 54:9 - God has sworn never to be angry with us. When you see a rainbow in the sky, it is a reminder that He will never be angry with you.

““For this is like the waters of Noah to me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah will no more go over the earth, so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.” (Isaiah‬ ‭54:9‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Romans 3:20 - The Law was given to show us that we cannot earn our own righteousness.

“Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.” (Romans‬ ‭3:20‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Numbers 8:23-26 - If you put yourself under the Law and depend on your physical strength, you will be confined in your strength—only strong from twenty five years of age to fifty years old.

“Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, “This is that which belongs to the Levites: from twenty-five years old and upward they shall go in to wait on the service in the work of the Tent of Meeting; and from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting on the work, and shall serve no more, but shall minister with their brothers in the Tent of Meeting, to perform the duty, and shall do no service. You shall do thus to the Levites concerning their duties.”” (Numbers‬ ‭8:23-26‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Deuteronomy 34:7 - Moses was not confined. He had this glorious testimony about himself. What was Moses’ secret?

“Moses was one hundred twenty years old when he died. His eye was not dim, nor his strength gone.” (Deuteronomy‬ ‭34:7‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Genesis 18:1-2, 6-7 - The pre-incarnate Christ visited Abraham, and Abraham nearly at the age of hundred, ran to meet the Lord!

“Yahweh appeared to him by the oaks of Mamre, as he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day. He lifted up his eyes and looked, and saw that three men stood opposite him. When he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself to the earth…Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah, and said, “Quickly prepare three seahs of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes.” Abraham ran to the herd, and fetched a tender and good calf, and gave it to the servant. He hurried to dress it.” (Genesis‬ ‭18:1-2, 6-7‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Hebrews 11:11 - God renewed Abraham and Sarah’s youth so that they could bring forth the promised child. Sarah’s youth renewal was so dramatic that at the age of ninety, she was still desired by a pagan king.

“By faith, even Sarah herself received power to conceive, and she bore a child when she was past age, since she counted him faithful who had promised.” (Hebrews‬ ‭11:11‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

1 Peter 3:5-6 - Christian women are daughters of Sarah. They can all receive the same youth renewal by faith.

“For this is how the holy women before, who hoped in God also adorned themselves, being in subjection to their own husbands: as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him Lord, whose children you now are, if you do well, and are not put in fear by any terror.” (1 Peter‬ ‭3:5-6‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Hebrews 11:27 - The word “endured” in Greek is “kartereo” which means power, strength. Moses remained strong and healthy because he was seeing the Lord in everything. We can also see Jesus in God’s word.

“By faith, he left Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.” (Hebrews‬ ‭11:27‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The Ark of the Covenant was covered by a blue veil whenever it was traveling from place to place. This is a picture of how Jesus is now at the Father’s right hand, but we cannot see Him with our physical eyes beyond the blue sky.

Psalm 91:16 - The word “salvation” here is “yeshua” which is the Hebrew name of Jesus. When you see Jesus, you will enjoy long life that satisfies you.

“I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation.”” (Psalms‬ ‭91:16‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Luke 24:15-16 - By His power, Jesus restrained the two disciples from recognizing Him.

“While they talked and questioned together, Jesus himself came near, and went with them. But their eyes were kept from recognizing him.” (Luke‬ ‭24:15-16‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Luke 24:27 - It is more important to see Jesus in the Scriptures than to see Him in person in this lifetime.

“Beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.” (Luke‬ ‭24:27‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

1 John 4:17 - Jesus is strong and healthy now at the Father’s right hand. As He is, so are we in this world.

“In this love has been made perfect among us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, even so are we in this world.” (1 John‬ ‭4:17‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

2 Kings 2:9-10 - Elijah performed eight miracles but Elisha performed sixteen miracles (double of Elijah’s).
Elisha received a double portion of God’s Spirit because he saw Elijah going up.

“When they had gone over, Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask what I shall do for you, before I am taken from you.” Elisha said, “Please let a double portion of your spirit be on me.” He said, “You have asked a hard thing. If you see me when I am taken from you, it will be so for you; but if not, it will not be so.”” (2 Kings‬ ‭2:9-10‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Luke 24:33 - Cleopas and the other disciple also partook of the Lord’s Supper with Jesus. That is another secret of receiving strength, health, and youth renewal.
They had just walked seven miles from Jerusalem to Emmaus, and then they immediately made the same journey back. They received the strength for this through the Lord’s Supper and also from hearing Jesus expounding the Scriptures to them.

“They rose up that very hour, returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and those who were with them,” (Luke‬ ‭24:33‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Isaiah 55:10-12 - When we receive God’s word, we will be led out with joy and peace.

“For as the rain comes down and the snow from the sky, and doesn’t return there, but waters the earth, and makes it grow and bud, and gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so is my word that goes out of my mouth: it will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do. For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace. The mountains and the hills will break out before you into singing; and all the trees of the fields will clap their hands.” (Isaiah‬ ‭55:10-12‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Isaiah 40:29-31 - We “wait” (qavah) by expectantly looking at the Lord with hope, so that He exchanges our limited, natural strength for His unlimited, eternal strength.

“He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall; But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah‬ ‭40:29-31‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Hebrew 12:2 - We look unto (aphoraó) Jesus by focusing on Him and looking away from everything else that distracts from Him.

“looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭WEB‬‬)
