New Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us how to bear Jesus up through exalting Him in our lives, and God will in turn carry us and our heavy burdens. This is one way to rest in the Lord and see accelerated blessings this year!

This year, we will see the manifestation of things we have prayed for for a long time, and it will happen fast.

Romans 12:2 - God’s word will renew our minds so that we don’t think like the world. The world is stressed out, chasing after things and unable to rest.

“Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.” (Romans‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

1 Corinthians 2:12 - What the people are pursuing with all their stress and laborious toil, we receive it freely from our God.

“But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God.” (1 Corinthians‬ ‭2:12‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Isaiah 48:17 - God will lead us in the way we should go this year and teach us to profit in all things.

“Yahweh, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says: “I am Yahweh your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way that you should go.” (Isaiah‬ ‭48:17‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Isaiah 30:21 - We will hear God’s voice and be led by Him.

“and when you turn to the right hand, and when you turn to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way. Walk in it.”” (Isaiah‬ ‭30:21‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Proverbs 3:17 - The Lord leads us on paths of pleasantness and peace.

“Her ways are ways of pleasantness. All her paths are peace.” (Proverbs‬ ‭3:17‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Genesis 22:14 - This is when the title Yahweh Yireh was first revealed.

“Abraham called the name of that place Yahweh Will Provide. As it is said to this day, “On Yahweh’s mountain, it will be provided.”” (Genesis‬ ‭22:14‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

John 8:56 - Abraham saw a vision of Jesus at the cross, at that same place: Mount Zion.

“Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day. He saw it, and was glad.”” (John‬ ‭8:56‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Psalm 22:1, 3- Jesus declared these words at the cross because He bore our sins there. Jesus always looks to bring glory to the Father.

“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning? But you are holy, you who inhabit the praises of Israel.” (Psalms‬ ‭22:1, 3‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

John 10:17 - Jesus was never more pleasing to the Father than when Jesus offered Himself up at the cross.

“Therefore the Father loves me, because I lay down my life, that I may take it again.” (John‬ ‭10:17‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

All the holy requirements of the Law have been fully met at the cross by the shedding of Jesus’ blood.

Bear Jesus up by exalting Him and God will carry you and all your heavy burdens

This year is 2022. The number 22 in the Bible means “light”. If you look at the menorah, there are 22 components that are for producing light.

Psalm 91:1 - This is our hope in dangerous times. We can abide in the secret place of the Most High—which is being in Christ.

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” (Psalms‬ ‭91:1‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Amos 9:11 - God did not promise to repair or rebuild the Tabernacle of Moses. God only promised to restore the Tabernacle of David.
Actually the Tabernacle of David was a temporal tabernacle. Solomon would build the temple and the Ark of the Covenant would be moved into the temple.
The Tabernacle of David is all about the freedom to praise and worship before an unveiled Ark.
In the Tabernacle of Moses, there were many rules, regulations, and restrictions with regards to approaching the Ark.
God is still repairing the breaches of the Tabernacle of David. When God repairs, He makes it better than before.

“In that day I will raise up the tent of David who is fallen, and close up its breaches, and I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old;” (Amos‬ ‭9:11‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Amos 9:13 - This is a picture of acceleration and abundance. This year, things will happen so fast and you will see blessings everywhere. This applies to the body of Christ (believers), not for the world.

““Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” God’s Decree. “Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills.” (Amos‬ ‭9:13 ‭MSG‬‬)

The Bible is all about God’s Son Jesus Christ. Picture a man showing a photo album of his son. If you are not interested, he will close the album and stop talking about it. If you have a heart to know more about Jesus, God will show you more.

Luke 24:16, 21, 27, 30-32 - Israel was the central focus in the two disciples’ hearts. Jesus was just a means to an end for them.
All this happened on the Sunday when Jesus rose from the dead.
Jesus was giving us a pattern of what to do on a Sunday (in the Bible it is called “The Lord’s Day”). On Sunday, we need to have the Scriptures expounded to us, and also to receive the Lord’s Supper.

“But their eyes were kept from recognizing him…But we were hoping that it was he who would redeem Israel. Yes, and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things happened…Beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself…When he had sat down at the table with them, he took the bread and gave thanks. Breaking it, he gave to them. Their eyes were opened, and they recognized him, and he vanished out of their sight. They said to one another, “Weren’t our hearts burning within us, while he spoke to us along the way, and while he opened the Scriptures to us?”” (Luke‬ ‭24:16, 21, 27, 30-32‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Colossians 3:22-24 - Our career is also a responsibility that God has given to us. We can work with excellence, doing it as service unto the Lord.

“Servants, obey in all things those who are your masters according to the flesh, not just when they are looking, as men pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing God. And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.” (Colossians‬ ‭3:22-24‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Romans 8:15 - Jesus translated fear of the Lord as worship of the Lord (Matthew 4:10). That is the right way, and not the slavish fear that was practiced under the Old Covenant of the Law.

“For you didn’t receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”” (Romans‬ ‭8:15‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Isaiah 49:12 - Pray that God will pour out His salvation and power upon China. “Sinim” refers to China.
Before China receives the Gospel, the West will receive the Gospel first on a wide scale. This has already happened for the West.
When we pray, God will move. God has restored the initial authority of Adam to the church through Jesus’ finished work at the cross.

“Behold, these shall come from afar; and behold, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.”” (Isaiah‬ ‭49:12‬ ‭WEB‬)

Matthew 24:6 - There will be rumors of wars this year. See that you are not troubled.

“You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren’t troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet.” (Matthew‬ ‭24:6‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Luke 21:11 - Pastor Prince received that there will be great earthquakes this year and we need to pray against it.

“There will be great earthquakes, famines, and plagues in various places. There will be terrors and great signs from heaven.” (Luke‬ ‭21:11‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

John 10:10 - God is not the one sending the pandemic or disasters. The devil is the one who steals, kills, and destroys. On the flip-side, Jesus gives, gives, resurrects, and restores. He gives life and life more abundantly.

“The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.” (John‬ ‭10:10‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Psalm 132:4-5 - Saul, the first king of Israel, had no heart for the Ark of the Covenant. It was left neglected.
On the other hand, David, ever since he was a little boy, had the heart to restore the Ark to its rightful place. God showed him that the place would be Mount Zion.
The Ark is a picture of our Lord Jesus Christ. Saul typifies leaders that have no heart for Jesus.

“I will not give sleep to my eyes, or slumber to my eyelids; until I find out a place for Yahweh, a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob.”” (Psalms‬ ‭132:4-5‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Hebrews 12:18-21 - Mount Sinai represent the Law, and there was a dark cloud. The idea is that when you touch Mount Sinai (the Law), there is death.

“For you have not come to a mountain that might be touched, and that burned with fire, and to blackness, darkness, storm, the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which those who heard it begged that not one more word should be spoken to them, for they could not stand that which was commanded, “If even an animal touches the mountain, it shall be stoned”; and so fearful was the appearance that Moses said, “I am terrified and trembling.”” (Hebrews‬ ‭12:18-21‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Matthew 17:5 - Under Grace, there is a bright cloud.

“While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. Behold, a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to him.”” (Matthew‬ ‭17:5‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Hebrews 12:22 - The true Zion, the heavenly Jerusalem is bright.

“But you have come to Mount Zion, and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable multitudes of angels,” (Hebrews‬ ‭12:22‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Hebrews 12:27-29 - Things that are man-made are being shaken in this season so that man will see that they are nothing without God.
God has been protecting the world for all these years from this pandemic happening. We do not know what God is doing for us behind the scenes.
Everything that is not of Grace will be consumed. Grace is the only way to serve God acceptably.

“This phrase, “Yet once more”, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that have been made, that those things which are not shaken may remain. Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can’t be shaken, let us have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.” (Hebrews‬ ‭12:27-29‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Psalm 125:1 - If you are on Mount Zion, even if you are shaking, the mountain will never be shaken. You stand on a solid foundation.

“Those who trust in Yahweh are as Mount Zion, which can’t be moved, but remains forever.” (Psalms‬ ‭125:1‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Acts 15:9 - Hearts are purified (cleansed) by faith.

“He made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.” (Acts‬ ‭15:9‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Romans 6:11 - The old man (your old self) telling you to sin is already dead. You do not need to pray against it as if it is still alive.

“Thus consider yourselves also to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans‬ ‭6:11‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Hebrews 10:1-2 - We must understand that our sins have been cleansed once and for all by the blood that Jesus shed at the cross.
We need this foundation of resting in Jesus’ finished work at the cross. Then we would not have sin consciousness.
Believing this does not make us licentious. Instead, it produces thankfulness towards Jesus, and when you fall in love with Jesus, you will fall out of love with sin.
Our state (behavior) changes, but our standing never changes. We are always righteous in God’s eyes.
God wants us to judge our state by our standing, not the other way around.

“For the law, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near. Or else wouldn’t they have ceased to be offered, because the worshipers, having been once cleansed, would have had no more consciousness of sins?” (Hebrews‬ ‭10:1-2‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Ephesians 5:22, 25 - In our relationships, Jesus must be at the center. Even if our spouse has flaws, we can look behind them and see Jesus there. We can submit to Jesus.

“Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord...Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it;” (Ephesians‬ ‭5:22, 25‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

1 Chronicles 15:12-15 - God wanted the Ark to be carried on the shoulders of the Levitical priests.
David should have known this, and yet he allowed the Ark to be transported on an ox cart. When the Ark stumbled, Uzzah touched the Ark and died.
In the forty years of the Ark being transported around, no priest died. We need to do things God’s way.

“and said to them, “You are the heads of the fathers’ households of the Levites. Sanctify yourselves, both you and your brothers, that you may bring the ark of Yahweh, the God of Israel, up to the place that I have prepared for it. For because you didn’t carry it at first, Yahweh our God broke out in anger against us, because we didn’t seek him according to the ordinance.” So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of Yahweh, the God of Israel. The children of the Levites bore God’s ark on their shoulders with its poles, as Moses commanded according to Yahweh’s word.” (1 Chronicles‬ ‭15:12-15‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Isaiah 53:4 - The word “borne” comes from “nasa” meaning to lift up, while the word “carried” comes from “saval” meaning to carry a heavy load.
God said this to Pastor Prince: “You carry My Son, and He will carry your sicknesses away.” We carry Jesus by exalting Him. Jesus carried our heavy load. Our yoke is easy and our burden in light in the Lord.
In all your endeavors, make sure that Jesus is at the center of it. Let all things you do bring glory to Jesus.
A truly successful child is one who knows the Lord Jesus Christ. Getting good grades in school should be for glorifying Jesus and not to make oneself look good.

“Surely he has borne our sickness, and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted.” (Isaiah‬ ‭53:4‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

1 Chronicles 15:25-26 - The Ark of the Covenant weighs about 288 pounds—that is pretty heavy. But when the Levites put the poles of the Ark on their shoulders, there was a reversal and it felt like the Ark was carrying them.

“So David, the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands, went to bring the ark of Yahweh’s covenant up out of the house of Obed-Edom with joy. When God helped the Levites who bore the ark of Yahweh’s covenant, they sacrificed seven bulls and seven rams.” (1 Chronicles‬ ‭15:25-26‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Matthew 11:28-30 - Jesus carried the heavy load of our sins and sicknesses. When we bear Jesus up by exalting Him, He will carry our heavy burdens and remove our sicknesses.

““Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”” (Matthew‬ ‭11:28-30‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Someone who has chest pain at night when trying to sleep has been healed.

Someone who feels like a metal band tightens around his head when he tries to read the Bible is set free. That Satanic yoke has been broken.
