Pastor Joseph Prince taught that Grace is not just a topic—it is the Gospel! Unlike the Law which came in beside, Grace is the main agenda on God’s heart. Wherever sin increased, grace super-abounds much more in that area. This is the good news that has been misunderstood by many, even during the apostle Paul’s time, but it is a principle of God’s restoration. Jesus became the perfect guilt offering so that God and man can both receive much more than what was lost through Adam’s sin!

Romans 1:16-17 - There are forces that were trying to make Paul ashamed of the Gospel.
The Gospel is not the revelation of man’s sin but the revelation of the gift of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ.
The word “salvation” in the passage is not just salvation from Hell, but also welfare, prosperity, and preservation from evil.

“For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek. For in it is revealed God’s righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, “But the righteous shall live by faith.”” (Romans‬ ‭1:16-17‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Romans 10:2-3 - It was people who were trying to establish their own righteousness that were persecuting Paul.
The gift of righteousness will not make you have a ‘holier than thou’ attitude. It makes you thankful and humbled to receive a free gift.

“For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn’t subject themselves to the righteousness of God.” (Romans‬ ‭10:2-3‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Ephesians 2:8-9 - Some legalistic people do not like this truth because the flesh wants to take credit and boast in its works.

“for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast.” (Ephesians‬ ‭2:8-9‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Galatians 1:6 - Gospel means “good news”. The Gospel of Grace is the Grace of Christ.

“I marvel that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ to a different “good news”;” (Galatians‬ ‭1:6‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Acts 20:24 - The Gospel is the Gospel of the Grace of God. Grace is not just a topic—it is the Gospel.

“But these things don’t count; nor do I hold my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to fully testify to the Good News of the grace of God.” (Acts‬ ‭20:24‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Hebrews 10:1-2 - If righteousness could come through the Law, then we would no longer have any consciousness of sins. But righteousness cannot come through the Law.

“For the law, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near. Or else wouldn’t they have ceased to be offered, because the worshipers, having been once cleansed, would have had no more consciousness of sins?” (Hebrews‬ ‭10:1-2‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

God’s Grace will superabound in your life

2 Corinthians 5:21 - There are two “made” here. They are two different Greek words. The first one is “poieo” which means “to fashion (with an artistic sense)”. The second “made” is “ginomai” which means “something coming into being”, like being birthed.

“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” (2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:21‬ ‭KJV‬‬)

Ephesians 2:10 - The word “workmanship” is “poiema”. We are like a beautiful poem written by God.
Stop trying to better yourself by your own efforts. Since the Lord created you, He will also make you better.

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.” ‭‭(Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The burnt offering which represents Jesus being punished by God’s wrath at the cross is called a “holy” offering. We tend to see it from the angle of its benefit towards us, but its primary purpose is to glorify God, and satisfy all His holy demands and attributes.
The sin offering is called a “most holy” offering. Jesus becoming sin is the most holy offering to God. Whoever touches the most holy offering becomes holy too.

Ephesians 4:23-25 - We put off the old man by renewing our minds—focusing on the truth that we have been recreated in righteousness and true holiness.

“and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth. Therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another.” (Ephesians‬ ‭4:23-25‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Romans 5:19-20 - It was not your obedience that made you righteousness—it was Jesus’ obedience at the cross that made you righteous.
God did not give the Law so that man can keep it. He gave it so that the offense might abound and show that man is sinful.
The Law came in beside—not through the front door, but from the side.
Grace is God doing, whereas the Law is man doing.
Grace is God supplying, whereas the Law is God demanding.
Where sin increased (pleonazo - increased) Grace abounded much more (huperperisseuo - hyper-added on top of what is already overflowing).
David had more than ten sons, and yet God chose the son (Solomon) who came from an adulterous relationship (David and Bathsheba) to become the next king of Israel.
Peter denied the Lord three times, and God used that same mouth that denied Jesus to preach the Gospel on the Day of Pentecost, causing three thousand people to be saved.

“For as through the one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one, many will be made righteous. The law came in besides, that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace abounded more exceedingly;” (Romans‬ ‭5:19-20‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

2 Corinthians 10:5 - When the enemy points you to your own obedience, point to Christ’s obedience at the cross. This is spiritual warfare.
We are sinners not because we sinned, but because of Adam’s sin. We inherited the sinful nature from Adam.

“throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ;” (2 Corinthians‬ ‭10:5‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Hebrew 10:11-12 - Jesus offered only one sacrifice for sins forever. He sat down because His work is finished.

“Every priest indeed stands day by day serving and often offering the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins, but he, when he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God;” (Hebrews‬ ‭10:11-12‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The devil wants to define you by your habits and failures. Confess who you are in Christ. When you do that, who you are will overcome what you do.
Who you are is your standing. What you do is your state. Your state fluctuates but your standing does not.
Your standing is that you are the righteousness of God.
Never judge your standing by your state.

2 Corinthians 3:6 - When the Law was given on Mount Sinai, three thousand people died. When the Holy Spirit was given on the Day of Pentecost, three thousand people were saved.

“who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” (2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:6‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Romans 6:1-2 - Many people misunderstood Paul for preaching that they should sin so that Grace might abound.
The same kind of accusation towards the Gospel of Grace continues today, leveled by those who do not have a revelation of what the Gospel actually is.
“Died to sin” is in the aorist tense, meaning an action that has already been fully completed in the past. We have already died to sin once and for all.

“What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? May it never be! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer?” (Romans‬ ‭6:1-2‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Romans 3:8 - If such misunderstandings do not arise, then most likely you are not preaching the true Gospel. Paul was misunderstood on this.
Bad things happen to those who hinder the Gospel.

“Why not (as we are slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say), “Let us do evil, that good may come?” Those who say so are justly condemned.” (Romans‬ ‭3:8‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Acts 13:8-12 - A sorcerer was blinded for a season because he was trying to hinder Paul from preaching the Gospel.

“But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn aside the proconsul from the faith. But Saul, who is also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, fastened his eyes on him, and said, “Full of all deceit and all cunning, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord? Now, behold, the hand of the Lord is on you, and you will be blind, not seeing the sun for a season!” Immediately a mist and darkness fell on him. He went around seeking someone to lead him by the hand. Then the proconsul, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the teaching of the Lord.” (Acts‬ ‭13:8-12‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

1 Corinthians 3:16 - Paul affirmed the carnal Corinthians by telling them who they were in Christ. They have become the temple of God.
God’s condemnation was not upon those who sinned by having orgies, visiting temple prostitutes, getting drunk while participating in the Lord’s supper, or suing fellow Christians in court. His condemnation was upon those who hindered the advancement of the Gospel.

“Don’t you know that you are a temple of God, and that God’s Spirit lives in you?” (1 Corinthians‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Galatians 1:6 - The Galatians were deserting the Grace of Christ and moving back to the Law. Paul was not soft on this. He pronounced a double curse upon whoever preaches any other gospel besides the Grace of Christ.
Whoever preaches the true Gospel is doubly blessed.

“I marvel that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ to a different “good news”;” (Galatians‬ ‭1:6‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

There is a fundamental flaw in man’s theology: They think that God sent Jesus just to cancel out what Adam did, and do complete what Adam failed to do. They think that it is merely a one hundred percent restoration.

Leviticus 5:15-16 - This is about the guilt/trespass offering for sinning against God. God becomes a gainer through the guilt offering.

““If anyone commits a trespass, and sins unwittingly, in the holy things of Yahweh; then he shall bring his trespass offering to Yahweh, a ram without defect from the flock, according to your estimation in silver by shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering. He shall make restitution for that which he has done wrong in the holy thing, and shall add a fifth part to it, and give it to the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and he will be forgiven.” (Leviticus‬ ‭5:15-16‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Leviticus 6:1-5 - This is about the guilt/trespass offering for sinning against man. In the guilt offering, the injured party becomes a gainer. He receives a one hundred and twenty percent restoration.
No matter what you have lost, you can receive one hundred and twenty percent restoration because Jesus is your guilt offering—He paid for you to receive this benefit.

“Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, “If anyone sins, and commits a trespass against Yahweh, and deals falsely with his neighbor in a matter of deposit, or of bargain, or of robbery, or has oppressed his neighbor, or has found that which was lost, and dealt falsely therein, and swearing to a lie; in any of these things that a man does, sinning therein; then it shall be, if he has sinned, and is guilty, he shall restore that which he took by robbery, or the thing which he has gotten by oppression, or the deposit which was committed to him, or the lost thing which he found, or any thing about which he has sworn falsely; he shall restore it even in full, and shall add a fifth part more to it. To him to whom it belongs he shall give it, in the day of his being found guilty.” (Leviticus‬ ‭6:1-5‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Isaiah 53:10 - Jesus is the guilt offering that restored what He did not steal.

“Yet it pleased Yahweh to bruise him. He has caused him to suffer. When you make his soul an offering for sin, he will see his offspring. He will prolong his days, and Yahweh’s pleasure will prosper in his hand.” (Isaiah‬ ‭53:10‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Psalm 69:4 - Jesus took the place of the perpetrator. We were the ones who robbed God, and yet Jesus restored much more on our behalf than what we robbed God of. God has become a gainer through what Jesus has done.
Psalms 22 and 69 are the most quoted psalms in the New Testament.

“Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head. Those who want to cut me off, being my enemies wrongfully, are mighty. I have to restore what I didn’t take away.” (Psalms‬ ‭69:4‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Through the severe famine, Pharaoh was restored with more than what he had initially. He became a gainer through Joseph’s wisdom. Joseph is a picture of Jesus Christ.
Even in this pandemic which caused a global famine situation, we become a gainer through Christ our guilt offering.

Luke 15:22-23 - As far as we know, the older son never received a fattened calf or the best robes. It was the prodigal son who sinned greatly that received super-abounding grace from the father.

““But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe, and put it on him. Put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet. Bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let us eat, and celebrate;” (Luke‬ ‭15:22-23‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Romans 5:17 - Not just a dab of grace once in a while, but an abundance of grace. May this verse define your life!

“For if by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one; so much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ.” (Romans‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Pastor Prince called out these health conditions and released words of knowledge for healing:

Joint conditions in the back area.

Joint conditions in the neck, knees, and wrists.

Waist condition. The person is feeling a warmth and he has been healed.

A child who was feverish and being sponged. The child is healed—go and touch the child and see that the fever is gone.

Eye blurriness condition is healed.

Back and toe that could not move, just move it now and see that you have been healed.
