5 Life Lessons and Moral Value In "Warcraft: The Beginning (2016)" (Spoilers Alert!) ​

​1) Having a martyr is a powerful way to unify and inspire people to work together towards a common cause.

At King Llane's funeral in Stormwind, the leaders of the other human nations, as well as the High Elves and Dwarves, proclaim an alliance against the orcs and rally behind Lothar. They rallied against a common enemy despite their differences.

2) The enemy of my enemy is my friend. 

Durotan realizes that the fel magic drained the life from Draenor, and if Gul'dan is not stopped Azeroth will suffer the same fate. Despite Orgrim's objections, Durotan invites Llane to a secret meeting so that the Frostwolf Clan and humans can unite to kill Gul'dan.

​3) Fear and Tyranny-based Leadership does not last for long. Another will rise up to overthrow and replace the dictator.

Gul'dan unites the orc clans into an army called the Horde, and uses a mysterious magic force called the fel to create a portal to the realm of Azeroth. The fel requires draining life to sustain the portal, so the orcs sacrifice captive Draenei to fuel it. After Durotan realises that the fel is corrupting the orcs, he decides that Gul'Dan must be stopped for the good of the orcs and his clan.

​4) Strategy is more crucial to gaining victory than raw, brute strength.

As the Orcs celebrate the defeat of King Llane, Lothar arrives on his gryphon to retrieve King Llane's body. Blackhand challenges Lothar to a Mak'gora, and Lothar successfully defeats him. Despite Blackhand's empowrment by the fel and his obviously much greater raw brute strength, Lothar executes a skillful sliding slash and kills Blackhand in one blow.

5) Don't dabble with anything dark or evil. It will tempt and seduce you, and when you accept it, it will corrupt your soul. 

Medivh was corrupted by the fel and possessed by a demon. You've seen what the demonic fel does in this movie. Do not dabble with anything occultic - demons are real. Don't open yourself up to their manipulation and attacks!
