25 December 2022 - Proofs of God’s Love For You - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince showed us from the Scriptures how we can know for sure that God loves us. Have a blessed Christmas! Praise and worship songs performed: 1. Angels We Have Heard On High 2. Joy To The World 3. Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee 4. The First Noel 5. What Child Is This Boy Going 6. O Holy Night 7. To Believe 8. We Are The Reason 9. The Wind And Wave - New Creation Worship 10. O Come All Ye Faithful Matthew 1:18-19 - Jesus was born of a virgin. Medical research has now found that the baby does not receive any of his parents’ blood from the placenta. Jesus’ blood is sinless. “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was like this: After his mother, Mary, was engaged to Joseph, before they came together, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit. Joseph, her husband, being a righteous man, and not willing to make her a public example, intended to put her away secretly.” (Matthew 1:18-19 WEBUS) Matthew 1:20 - Both Joseph and Mary came from the lineage of David. Jesus was born of the royal stock. “But when he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, don’t be afraid to take to yourself Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 1:20 WEBUS) Jesus was born King of the Jews—He was not only heir-apparent. Our sins were a barrier between us and God. Jesus came to save us from our sins. Matthew 1:23 - “Im” means “with us” and “El” means “mighty God” in Hebrew. Jesus is the mighty God with us. ““Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall give birth to a son. They shall call his name Immanuel,” which is, being interpreted, “God with us.”” (Matthew 1:23 WEBUS) God said to Adam that the day he eats of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, he would surely die. Death came in because Adam sinned. Nothing is more real than the spiritual. God who is a Spirit, brought forth the material world. Romans 8:31 - God is for us. Nothing can be against us. We can rest in God’s love as He is taking care of us. “What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31 WEBUS)

18 December 2022 - Seek Christ And Receive His Love - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Mark NgNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Mark Ng preached a timely reminder for us not to seek individual breakthroughs, but to seek Christ. When we do that and rest in God’s love for us, all blessings will pursue us! Praise and worship songs performed: 1. Angels From The Realms Of Glory - James Montgomery 2. Beautiful Savior - Planetshakers 3. King Of Heaven - New Creation Worship 4. You Laid Aside Your Majesty - Noel Richards Be journey-focused, not destination focused. Enjoy the journey while you’re on the way to the destination. Stop and smell the roses. Stress comes from self-condemnation. Matthew 1:21 - Jesus was born to be our Savior to save us from our sins. “She shall give birth to a son. You shall name him Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins.”” (Matthew 1:21 WEBUS) Romans 8:3 - Jesus has condemned sins (in Greek it is the noun “hamartia”) at the cross. “For what the law couldn’t do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh,” (Romans 8:3 WEBUS) Romans 6:6 - We must learn to awaken to the truth that we are the righteousness of God in Christ. We are a new creation in Christ. Our old man is no more. It was crucified with Jesus at the cross. We must believe this truth and not be steered by our feelings. God sees us as in Christ Jesus. We are hidden in Christ. “knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin.” (Romans 6:6 WEBUS) 11 December 2022 - Prepare Your Heart For God’s Wealth Transfer - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince prophesied that there is a wealth transfer happening in these end times, and taught us how to prepare our hearts to receive and steward the wealth for God’s glory! Praise and worship songs performed: 1. O Come All Ye Faithful - C. Frederick Oakeley 2. Kings of Kings - Hillsong Music 3. Praise The Lord For He Is Good - New Creation Worship 4. God You’re So Good - Brett Younker 5. Supply - New Creation Worship Pastor Prince said the whole world is in a global recession right now and it’s going to get worse. Rest in the Father’s love and learn from Him how to prosper in times of famine. God’s people will come into prominence during times of famine. We demonstrate God’s ability to provide in the midst of darkness, not light. Genesis 41:33, 39-40 - This was the wisdom that God gave to Joseph during his time. ““Now therefore let Pharaoh look for a discreet and wise man, and set him over the land of Egypt…Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Because God has shown you all of this, there is no one so discreet and wise as you. You shall be over my house. All my people will be ruled according to your word. Only in the throne I will be greater than you.”” (Genesis 41:33, 39-40 WEBUS) Genesis 13:3-4 - For Abram, the God-given wisdom was a coming back to where he fell from. Abram lied about Sarai only being his sister and he had to come clean about it. He then went back to the altar he made for the Lord. “He went on his journeys from the South as far as Bethel, to the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Ai, to the place of the altar, which he had made there at the first. There Abram called on Yahweh’s name.” (Genesis 13:3-4 WEBUS) Genesis 12:10 - The famine during Abraham’s time was severe. Isaac was told to sow during the time of famine. Tithing seems to be putting money into dry ground, but it is actually good ground. “There was a famine in the land. Abram went down into Egypt to live as a foreigner there, for the famine was severe in the land.” (Genesis 12:10 WEBUS) Matthew 6:21 - Wherever you put your seed (money) in, your heart will follow. “for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:21 WEBUS) Genesis 26:12-14 - Sow and you will reap a harvest. God is encouraging us that sowing will surely lead to a harvest. To the world, only they are allowed to prosper, but Christians should be poor. They will be jealous and criticize. “Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year one hundred times what he planted. Yahweh blessed him. The man grew great, and grew more and more until he became very great. He had possessions of flocks, possessions of herds, and a great household. The Philistines envied him.” (Genesis 26:12-14 WEBUS) Luke 6:38 - If Jesus didn’t want to encourage us to believe that when we give we will reap a harvest, then why would He describe it in such detail? “Running over” means much more than enough. You are blessed and empowered to be a blessing to others. ““Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you. For with the same measure you measure it will be measured back to you.”” (Luke 6:38 WEBUS) 2 Chronicles 26:5 - Seeking the Lord is linked to receiving prosperity. “He set himself to seek God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the vision of God; and as long as he sought Yahweh, God made him prosper.” (2 Chronicles 26:5 WEBUS) 2 Corinthians 5:21 - We have become the righteousness of God in Christ. “For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Corinthians 5:21 WEBUS) James 5:16 -Our prayers are effective because we are righteous in Christ. “Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.” (James 5:16 WEBUS) 4 December 2022 - Filled With The Spirit As You Praise - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Lawrence LimNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Lawrence Lim taught us how to be continually filled with the Holy Spirit. When we praise the Lord, we receive power, wisdom, and the blessings of God! Praise and worship songs performed:
Ephesians 5:15-21 - We need to be careful about how we live our lives. The days are evil so we need to walk wisely. “Filled” is in the present passive imperative tense. The Amplified Bible translates it as “ever be filled with the Holy Spirit”. You can keep on being filled with the Holy Spirit when you sing praises to God. Give thanks in all things. God will make all things work together for our good. We praise God who is good, not our circumstances. When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will receive humility and wisdom. “Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore, don’t be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; giving thanks always concerning all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father; subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ.” (Ephesians 5:15-21 WEBUS) We can learn something from anyone and anything. Don’t feel entitled as though the world owes you anything. 1 Samuel 16:14-16 - Even the servants knew that anointed music has the power to drive away the evil spirit. “Now Yahweh’s Spirit departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from Yahweh troubled him. Saul’s servants said to him, “See now, an evil spirit from God troubles you. Let our Lord now command your servants who are in front of you to seek out a man who is a skillful player on the harp. Then when the evil spirit from God is on you, he will play with his hand, and you will be well.”” (1 Samuel 16:14-16 WEBUS) 1 Samuel 16:21-23 - Music is God’s gift to man. It can refresh you. God will impart wisdom to you when you are refreshed. “David came to Saul and stood before him. He loved him greatly; and he became his armor bearer. Saul sent to Jesse, saying, “Please let David stand before me, for he has found favor in my sight.” When the spirit from God was on Saul, David took the harp and played with his hand; so Saul was refreshed and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.” (1 Samuel 16:21-23 WEBUS) 2 Kings 3:9-19 - Elisha didn’t want to help Ahab because Ahab was evil. But for Jehoshaphat’s sake, he was willing to help. Elisha understood that when anointed music is played, the prophetic word of the Lord will come. “So the king of Israel went with the king of Judah and the king of Edom, and they marched for seven days along a circuitous route. There was no water for the army or for the animals that followed them. The king of Israel said, “Alas! For Yahweh has called these three kings together to deliver them into the hand of Moab.” But Jehoshaphat said, “Isn’t there a prophet of Yahweh here, that we may inquire of Yahweh by him?” One of the king of Israel’s servants answered, “Elisha the son of Shaphat, who poured water on the hands of Elijah, is here.” Jehoshaphat said, “Yahweh’s word is with him.” So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him. Elisha said to the king of Israel, “What have I to do with you? Go to the prophets of your father, and to the prophets of your mother.” The king of Israel said to him, “No, for Yahweh has called these three kings together to deliver them into the hand of Moab.” Elisha said, “As Yahweh of Armies lives, before whom I stand, surely, were it not that I respect the presence of Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, I would not look toward you, nor see you. But now bring me a musician.” When the musician played, Yahweh’s hand came on him. He said, “Yahweh says, ‘Make this valley full of trenches.’ For Yahweh says, ‘You will not see wind, neither will you see rain, yet that valley will be filled with water, and you will drink, both you and your livestock and your other animals. This is an easy thing in Yahweh’s sight. He will also deliver the Moabites into your hand. You shall strike every fortified city and every choice city, and shall fell every good tree, and stop all springs of water, and mar every good piece of land with stones.’”” (2 Kings 3:9-19 WEBUS) 27 November 2022 - Expect Great Things From God - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Lim Lian NeoNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Lian preached a powerful message that ignite hope in our hearts. Hope is the confident expectation of good. Expect great things from God so we can do great things for God! Praise and worship songs performed: 1. Before The Throne Of God Above - Charitie Lees Banecroft 2. Never Walk Alone - Bethel Music 3. I Love You Lord - Jason Morant 4. I Will Follow After You - New Creation Worship 5. Worthy Is The Lamb - Darlene Zschech 6. Living Hope - Bethel Music Academic performance is important, but it is not everything. When Jesus is with you, you are successful. Success is when you trust God. We don’t want to raise independent children—we want them to be God-dependent. Isaiah 40:29-31 - If you feel weak, you are perfectly positioned to receive God’s strength as you hope in Him. All our best days are ahead of us as we hope in the Lord. Bible hope is not just wishing. In Greek it is “elpis” which is a confident expectation of good. “He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall; but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:29-31 WEBUS) Romans 15:13 - Our God of hope wants us to abound in hope. William Carey, a missionary in India from the 1700’s who translated the Bible into the five main languages in India, said, “Expect great things from God. Attempt great things for God.” “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope in the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13 WEBUS) Pray for your family members who aren’t born again yet. Expect them to get saved. Pastor Lian declared that she saw in her spirit: Glorious marriages in the church. The devil wants you to think there is no more hope in your marriage, but God wants you to believe that the hope of the righteous is gladness. Don’t just do the bare minimum at work. Shine for God’s glory. Expect great things from God at your workplace. 20 November 2022 - God’s Face Shines On You - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Gabriel Tan20/11/2022 20 November 2022 - God’s Face Shines On You - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Gabriel TanNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Gabriel Tan encouraged us in the Lord, to expect accelerated blessings as we enjoy the presence of God. God is smiling at you! Praise and worship songs performed:
There’s still 6 weeks to go. Believe to experience more blessings of “rest and acceleration” in accordance to the theme of the year. If you are a student, know that your school examination results are not a passport to success in life. Just do your best in worship to the glory of God. There will always be exams and tests, but let us not be stressed by them. God can turn disappointments into His appointments. Amos 9:11-13 - Expect accelerated blessings in the remainder of this year and in the years to come. “In that day I will raise up the tent of David who is fallen and close up its breaches, and I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old, that they may possess the remnant of Edom and all the nations who are called by my name,” says Yahweh who does this. “Behold, the days come,” says Yahweh, “that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the one treading grapes him who sows seed; and sweet wine will drip from the mountains, and flow from the hills.” (Amos 9:11-13 WEBUS) ““Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” God’s Decree. “Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills.” (Amos 9:13-15 MSG) When listening to testimonies, the right attitude to have is: “If God did that for them, He can do that for me too.” When you read testimonies, look out for the turning point. When did things begin to change? Look out not for the method, but the metanoia (the point where he changed the way he believed). That’s usually the turning point. 13 November 2022 - God’s Purpose In Prospering You - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us about God’s will to heal and prosper us for His central purpose: the furtherance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Praise and worship songs performed: 1. This Is Amazing Grace - Phil Wickham Music 2. Christ Is Enough - Hillsong Music 3. King Of My Heart - New Creation Worship 4. Here I Bow - Bethel Music God blesses us so that we become a blessing to many. It is not for us to hoard greedily. God is good. He will cause us to prosper in all things and be in health, even as our souls prosper. Believers cannot be possessed. The Holy Spirit will not share the same temple as a demon. Demons can oppress believers from outside. Fiery darts (demonic thoughts) come from outside. The devil fires an evil thought to you by using the personal pronoun such as “I am worthless,” “I am cursed.” A person receives a thought by speaking it out and agreeing with it. There is a purpose to God-given prosperity. It is for the furtherance of the Gospel. There is no health and wealth gospel. But the Gospel of Jesus Christ produces health and wealth. We are entering a global recession. If you sow sparingly you will reap sparingly. If you sow bountiful you will reap bountiful. This is in the context of giving. Jesus had no qualms about advertising the Gospel and attracting sinners by healing the sick. When God brought the children of Israel out of Egypt, He brought them out with silver and gold to build the Tabernacle. The devil instigated the children of Israel to build a golden calf while Moses was receiving the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai. The devil will still try to distract you in the way you use your finances. There is going to be a wealth transfer in these last days, just as it was in the Exodus. Jesus said He came to preach good news to the poor. There is only one good news to the poor: your poverty is over—supply is coming. You will not lack. Jesus’ first coming was not for vengeance but to bring grace, forgiveness, and wholeness. We are still in the acceptable (razon) year of the Lord. We will not be around to see the Mark of the Beast implemented. There is a restraining power exerted by the church because the Holy Spirit is in the church. This is why the Antichrist cannot be revealed yet. When the Rapture happens and all believers are taken to Heaven, then the Antichrist can be revealed. Alien abductions are the cover up for the Rapture of the church that will happen. The world will try to explain it away with the explanation of “aliens”. 6 November 2022 - Biblical Prosperity Amidst The Famine - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us how God is restoring the truths about Biblical prosperity to the church. Our spirits must be open to receive this truth before we can experience it! Praise and worship songs performed:
There is a last day Gospel of Grace revolution coming that is going to be even greater than the Reformation during Martin Luther’s time. Only a sinless person can die as a sin offering. Jesus did that for us. He shed royal blood for us as He is the Son of God. Jesus is 100% God and also 100% man. Jesus’ position is also our position. He is there in Heaven representing man to God. When He was here on earth, He was representing God to man. When God looks at you, He does not see you in sin but in Christ as the righteousness of God. Never let fame or fortune define you. Let God define you. You are the righteousness of God in Christ. Everything in the Christian life operates by faith. Faith is the currency in the Kingdom of Heaven. The preaching of God’s word builds faith. As Jesus is—the ascended, risen, glorified Christ, so are we in this world. No one bore more sins in their own body than Jesus did at the cross. A few days later, He stepped into Heaven without all the sins. All our sins have been purged—it is a perfect work. Jesus then sat down at God the Father’s right hand. God’s way is that you believe what He says, declare it, and you will see it manifest in your life. His word is the truth. We cannot use church history as the basis of our faith. We must base our faith on God’s word. “Do not forsake assembling together as you see the Day approaching” in the epistle to the Hebrews is talking about physical gathering of believers. Lions prowl slowly and wait for a straggler animal that strays from the herd before pouncing. The devil (who comes as a roaring lion) and his demons wait for you to be isolated and out of fellowship before they strike. 30 October 2022 - Identify With the Second Adam - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us many heavenly realities, especially that need to see ourselves the way God sees us—in the spirit and not in the flesh. In Christ, not in Adam. Praise and worship songs performed: 1. How Great Is Our God - Chris Tomlin 2. No Longer Slaves - Bethel Music 3. The One Thing - New Creation Worship It takes a father and a mother to raise a child. Not a village. We don’t want a village to give advice to our children. Abraham prospered in all things. He was very rich in flocks, silver, and gold. The blessing upon him also caused him to receive physical wealth. We are the seed of Abraham and are blessed together with the faithful Abraham. We are well supplied in Christ. Genesis 26:1-3 - The “first” in Hebrew is “rashon”. It also means the head, the beginning, and the first. “Rosh” in Hebrew is the name for Russia in the Bible. China is “Sinim”. This passage is prophetic for a time when Russia becomes prominent again. “There was a famine in the land, in addition to the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. Isaac went to Abimelech king of the Philistines, to Gerar. Yahweh appeared to him, and said, “Don’t go down into Egypt. Live in the land I will tell you about. Live in this land, and I will be with you, and will bless you. For I will give to you, and to your offspring, all these lands, and I will establish the oath which I swore to Abraham your father.” (Genesis 26:1-3 WEBUS) Ezekiel 38:1-3 - Gog means expansion and Magog means extension. Rosh is Russia and Meschech is Moscow. There will be a time when Russia comes to try and invade Israel. God will destroy them on the mountains of Israel. “Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, “Son of man, set your face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him, and say, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Behold, I am against you, Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal.” (Ezekiel 38:1-3 WEBUS) Ezekiel 38:13 - In Ezekiel 38, the “young lions” includes America. Sheba, Dedan are referring to Saudi Arabia. Tarshish is Spain. In the Ezekiel 38 war, no country will help Israel. God Himself will defeat the invaders for Israel and man will not get the glory. “Sheba, Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all its young lions, will ask you, ‘Have you come to take the plunder? Have you assembled your company to take the prey, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder?’”’” (Ezekiel 38:13 WEBUS) 23 October 2022 - Remain In God’s Love - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Lim Lian Neo23/10/2022 23 October 2022 - Remain In God’s Love - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Lim Lian NeoNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Lian taught us to continue in the things we have learned and have been assured of. You won’t give up—you will wise up and rise up, walking in your salvation! Praise and worship songs performed: 1. Our God - Hillsong Music 2. That’s The Power - Hillsong Music 3. Break Every Chain - Tasha Cobbs 4. I Sing Praises To Your Name - Integrity! Hossana Music 5. King Of Heaven - New Creation Worship 6. Great Is The Lord - Steven McEwan 7. So You Would Come - Hillsong Music The joy of the Lord is our strength. We will be led out with God’s peace that surpasses all understanding. 2 Timothy 3:14 - In these perilous times, just continue in the things you have learned and have been assured of. Don’t move from those things. You will not give up—you will wise up and rise up, walking in your salvation. Salvation is not just about being saved from hell, but being delivered and preserved from all troubles. “But you remain in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them. From infancy, you have known the holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.” (2 Timothy 3:14-15 WEBUS) 1 John 4:16 - If you don’t know what to do, just remain in and be assured of the love that God has for you. In your daily life, see God’s grace and don’t obsess over the gaps that have yet to be filled. Having experience is the revelation you have in your heart. Prayer is not a duty. It is vocalizing and expressing your dependence on God. “And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe (adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the love God cherishes for us. God is love, and he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in him.” (1 John 4:16 AMPC) |
