21 May 2023 - TBN Special in Israel: Expedition Mercy Seat - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught Gospel truths from various locations in Jerusalem in this special series filmed by Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN). Praise and worship songs performed:
In the heart of Jerusalem is the Holy of Holies, and there is where grace and mercy is. Jesus’ blood was spilled on the Mercy Seat of the Ark of the Covenant. “Moriah” means “seeing the provision of God”. Mount Moriah is the mountain where God told Abraham to go to and that He would show him. On this mountain, Jesus was offered up as the Lamb of God for the sin of the world. On Mount Moriah, Abraham saw a vision of Jesus on the cross. Jesus said that “Abraham rejoiced to see My day.” The Christian posture is not to look to the grave but to look to the sky for Jesus’ return. Jesus only wept at Lazarus’ tomb, but He sobbed greatly over Jerusalem because they did not know the time of His visitation. He saw a vision of Jerusalem’s future of being persecuted by the Gentiles. Jesus told many people that He healed not to tell anyone about it. That was a transition time as the Old Covenant was in the process of being replaced with the New Covenant. Jesus was uncomfortable in the world of the self-righteous religious leaders of Israel. He was more glad to be in the presence of sinners who admitted that they were sinful. Just the anticipation of becoming sin at the cross caused Jesus to sweat blood. Doctors call this condition “hematidrosis”: when one is under extreme stress, the blood capillaries burst and intermingles with perspiration. Jesus sweat blood to redeem us from the curse of sweat that was pronounced upon man in the Garden of Eden. We are also redeemed from stress and depression. His sweat also dripped onto the ground that was cursed as well. Thanks to Jesus’ blood, blessings come easy to us and wherever we walk is favored ground. Gethsemane means “oil press”. Olive oil is crushed and used for oil for the menorah in the temple, medicine, and cleansing. This is what Jesus was crushed for: to give us the anointing, healing, and cleansing us from our sins. Everything hinged upon Jesus’ decision made in the Garden of Gethsemane. He submitted to the Father’s will and went to the cross. When God restores, it’s better in quality and/or quality. This restoration is paid for by the shed blood of Jesus.

7 May 2023 - Clothed With Power From God - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Lawrence Lim7/5/2023 7 May 2023 - Clothed With Power From God - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Lawrence LimNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Lawrence preached a powerful message about spiritual warfare, emphasizing the importance of putting on the whole armor of God, especially through believing the Gospel and praying in tongues. Praise and worship songs performed: 1. Rain Upon My Life - New Creation Worship 2. Majesty - New Spring 3. Holy Forever - Chris Tomlin 4. No Other Name - Hillsong Music 5. Worthy Of It All - David Brymer There will be a great end-time revival. Many souls will be saved. God wants to heal your mind in 2023. Isaiah 59:14-17 - We still live on a fallen earth. Sometimes untimely events happen, even premature death. This is not God’s will, but sometimes things like that happen and it hurts. We have the strong consolation that our departed loved ones in Christ are with Jesus. It is not a loss but a win for them either way. “Justice is turned away backward, and righteousness stands far away; for truth has fallen in the street, and uprightness can’t enter. Yes, truth is lacking; and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. Yahweh saw it, and it displeased him that there was no justice. He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor. Therefore his own arm brought salvation to him; and his righteousness sustained him. He put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation on his head. He put on garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a mantle.” (Isaiah 59:14-17 WEBUS) Ephesians 6:10-13 - When you put on the armor of God, you look like God and strike fear into the hearts of your spiritual enemies. God wants you to wear His armor because there is spiritual warfare. Make sure you put on the whole armor and don’t miss out on any pieces. “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” (Ephesians 6:10-13 WEBUS) Ephesians 6:14-20 - You put on the armor of God by believing. It is about faith. Salvation is what Jesus did for us, to deliver us from sin’s penalty and power. The “word of God” here is referring to “rhema” (what God is currently saying), not “logos” (the word of God that has been revealed). When you pray in tongues (praying in the Spirit), the enemy trembles in fear because it is how you activate the sword of the Spirit. “Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints. Pray for me, that utterance may be given to me in opening my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the Good News, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.” (Ephesians 6:14-20 WEBUS) 23 April 2023 - Cleansed By The Ashes Of The Red Heifer - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us how to cleanse ourselves from the death that we touch on a daily basis, through receiving the sprinkling of water containing the ashes of the red heifer. Find out what this is a picture of under the New Covenant of Grace! Praise and worship songs performed: 1. We Praise You - Bethel Music 2. On And On - Housefires 3. Eagle’s Wings - Hillsong Music 4. I Surrender - NewCreation Worship 5. Jesus At The Centre - Israel Houghton Jesus already paid for us to receive healing by shedding His blood at the cross. We only need to receive it today. Healing can happen instantaneously sometimes, but it can also happen progressively. Wine usually takes many years to ripen to become excellent wine. At the wedding in Cana, Jesus compressed time and turned water into excellent wine in just a moment. Through this miracle, He showed that He is the Lord of Time. Jesus healed a nobleman’s son from a long distance away in Capernaum. Through this miracle He showed He is the Lord of Space. Jesus is the Lord of Time and Space. Even if you don’t feel anything different after praying for healing or taking the Lord’s Supper, just thank God by faith for your healing. When you partake of the Lord’s Supper, take it with a consciousness that Jesus just freshly died at the cross for you. Receive His love for you as you remember what He did at the cross. With the Lord, a thousand human years is like one day. There is a prophecy in Hosea that says after two days God will revive us and on the third day we will live in His sight. That is a prophecy about the Rapture—we are waiting for the Rapture to happen in God’s third day. 1 Corinthians 10:11 - What happened to the children of Israel in the wilderness were examples for our learning. When Korah and his followers murmured against Moses and Aaron, the earth opened up and swallowed them alive. When the children of Israel complained about the lack of variety of food and only having manna to eat, many of them died. If we keep seeking things of the world and disdaining God’s word (manna is a picture of God’s word), then we will keep wandering in the wilderness. “Now all these things happened to them by way of example, and they were written for our admonition, on whom the ends of the ages have come.” (1 Corinthians 10:11 WEBUS) We are surrounded by angels who watch over us and deliver us from evil. It is good to remind your children of this so that when they go to school or wherever, they have the sense of being protected by God. 16 April 2023 - The Cleansing Word - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us how the Lord cleanses us through His word. We need to prioritize receiving this cleansing—it is the one thing needful! Praise and worship songs performed:
Religion is not relationship with God. Religion is of the flesh. Satan is religious and he will try to make you believe that God is angry with you and out to punish you. The only thing a man can do before God is receive from Him. We are so spiritually bankrupt in and of ourselves. God just wants your heart to be occupied with Christ. When that happens, your hands will naturally want to serve. God made man to become a recipient of His love, not so that man would love Him. The main sin that the children of Israel kept committing in the wilderness was the sin of complaining. For their unbelief, most of them dropped dead in the wilderness. Catch yourself when you tend to look for faults or problems to complain about. Focus on the things you have to be thankful for. Appreciate people for the good things they do for you. 9 April 2023 - Jesus Resurrected As The First Fruit - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us in this Resurrection Sunday message how Jesus’ resurrection fulfills the Feast Of First Fruits of the Old Testament! Praise and worship songs performed:
God made us with emotions to feel them. Primarily, it is for us to feel loved by Him. When bad experiences happen to us, there is the temptation to harden our hearts and tell ourselves never to trust or feel again. God made us in His image as spirits and designed for us to live in bodies. Lucifer used to be the worship archangel in Heaven. But he rebelled because of pride. When you are anointed with gifts from God, stay humble. Songs and music can draw crowds to God or away from Him. In the beginning, God created all things for man to enjoy. He wants us to enjoy His blessings, but not to abuse (abnormal use) them. Eve ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil out of ignorance, but Adam ate it knowingly because of his love for Eve. He chose to rebel against God’s commandment not to eat from that tree. 2 April 2023 - Unpacking The Passion Of Christ - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Lawrence LimNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Lawrence Lim expounded on the sufferings and death of Jesus Christ and how it affects us as believers in Him. This Gospel message is important for us to understand the finished work of Christ at the cross! Praise and worship songs performed: (I missed the songs before this)
Exodus 32:3 - In this verse we find “Aleph Tav”. It is the divine signature of Jesus Christ. In the Book of Revelation, He calls Himself “The first and the last”. Aleph is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet and Tav is the last letter. The golden rings in the ears represent hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Gospel is meant to be received by hearing it. Every time you hear the Gospel preached, something good happens to you. “All the people took off the golden rings which were in their ears, and brought them to Aaron.” (Exodus 32:3 WEBUS) The anointing of God is primarily for you to preach the Gospel and to heal the broken-hearted and sick. To know the will of God, we look at Jesus and what He did and said. Romans 1:16-17 - We receive the power of God by hearing the Gospel of Christ, not by doing with our hands. “For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, because it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first, and also for the Greek. For in it is revealed God’s righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, “But the righteous shall live by faith.”” (Romans 1:16-17 WEBUS) God’s word is life and health to all your flesh. The “Passion” refers to the sufferings and death of our Lord Jesus Christ. There is nothing you can do to make God love you more. To suggest that means you’re saying that God held back in loving you. No, He loves us to the uttermost, and He will never love us less. Luke 22:44 - Just the anticipation of becoming sin at the cross caused Jesus to sweat blood. Doctors call this condition “hematidrosis”: when one is under extreme stress, the blood capillaries burst and intermingles with perspiration. Jesus sweat blood to redeem us from the curse of sweat that was pronounced upon man in the Garden of Eden. His sweat also dripped onto the ground that was cursed as well. Thanks to Jesus’ blood, blessings come easy to us and wherever we walk is favored ground. “Being in agony, he prayed more earnestly. His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down on the ground.” (Luke 22:44 WEBUS) Jesus said “I AM” and the temple guards who came to arrest Him in the Garden of Gethsemane fell back to the ground. Jesus was not captured because He was helpless. He willingly gave up His life for us. In the midst of the chaos, Peter severed Malchus’ ear. Jesus who is always full of peace, picked up the severed ear and restored the ear to Malchus, healing him. He healed a person who wanted Him dead. Jesus lived by His words of “love your enemies”. Let go of grudges and forgive those who have hurt you, just as God has forgiven you in Christ. At supper on the night of Passover, Jesus already knew that Judas was going to betray Him, and yet He still washed Jesus’ feet. Back then, washing a person’s feet was the job of the lowliest servants. It was an act of love that Jesus did. Don’t punish yourself and live in condemnation. God loves you and has forgiven you. It is a new beginning today. God’s compassions fail not. Peter boasted that even if all the disciples forsook Jesus, he wouldn’t. Jesus told him that before the rooster crowed, Peter would betray Him three times. Peter denied Jesus with cursing and swearing, and when the rooster crowed, Jesus turned to look at Peter with eyes of love. That is why Peter cried. Even if you have failed, God can still use you. Peter denied Jesus three times and yet Jesus restored him to the ministry of apostleship. Peter was used to preach to multitudes on the Day of Pentecost and three thousand souls were saved. 26 March 2023 - Hear The Word Of Christ For Your Breakthrough - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught about God’s pattern and delivery system for miracles under the New Covenant of Grace. Discover the importance of hearing the word of Christ! Pastor Prince released words of knowledge for healing: Liver conditions. Diabetes and pancreatic conditions. Abnormal growth on the pancreas. Growth near the spinal cord area. Joint and knee conditions. Neck conditions. Bruised toe with an almost-dead toenail. Stomach cancer. Fire is burning the cancer up. In the realm of God there is no limitation of time or space. It is always now. God can heal what is dead or dried up. Romans 6:14 - We are not under the Old Covenant of the Law, but under the New Covenant of Grace. Sin will not have dominion over us. “For sin will not have dominion over you, for you are not under law, but under grace.” (Romans 6:14 WEBUS) Believers end up in adultery when they have some wrong believing in their lives. That is the deeper root that led to the sin. Pastor Prince believes that Jesus was born on the Feast of Tabernacles. The Scriptures say that the word was “tabernacled” among us. The flesh needs a law to activate it. If you put a sign, “Don’t throw rocks at the greenhouse,” boys who see it will have the thought and temptation to throw rocks when they did not have the thought before that. It is the law that stirs up rebellion in the flesh. God delivered the children of Israel out of Egypt first before the Law was ever given at Mount Sinai. They complained at the Red Sea but God did not seem to regard their complaining at all. He opened the Red Sea for them and drowned their enemies the Egyptians. At the bitter waters of Mara, the children of Israel complained again. They complained when there was no food too. Yet again, God supplied water and food without regarding their sins. No one from the children of Israel was recorded as dying during the period of time before Mount Sinai. But after the Law was given at Mount Sinai, the children of Israel started dying after they sinned. Same God, different manner of administration because of a different covenant. 19 March 2023 - Renovations For Good Manifestations - New Creation Church Sermon Notes (Pastor Lim Lian Neo)New Sermon Notes: Pastor Lian taught us how to receive God’s manifestations of goodness in our lives through the renovation of our minds. Praise and worship songs performed: 1. The House Of The Lord - Phil Wickham 2. Rain Upon My Life - New Creation Worship 3. How Excellent Your Name - Peter Jacobs 4. Worthy - Elevation Worship 5. King Of My Heart - Bethel Music Psalm 62:5 - Have expectations this year for good manifestations from the Lord. “My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from him.” (Psalms 62:5 WEBUS) 2 Corinthians 12:9 - Everyone has weaknesses. Jesus’ power will be made perfect in your weakness. Let His grace fill that area of lack. “He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.” (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEBUS) Psalm 73:2-3 - Things can happen to us but it does not have to change what is inside us. Don’t let the poison get into you. “But as for me, my feet were almost gone. My steps had nearly slipped. For I was envious of the arrogant, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.” (Psalms 73:2-3 WEBUS) Let the Lord interrupt and disrupt what the devil has been trying to do to you for years. Don’t let the negative labels from others stick to you. Psalm 73:21-26, 28 - Holding on to un-forgiveness/grudges is like drinking poison and expecting others to die from it. It is just inflicting harm on yourself. We have the power to allow or disallow things to affect us. Choose to let go of grudges and bitterness for they are poison. Guard your heart from poison! Don’t do something to get back at a loved one because it will hurt you back even more. When you allow the Lord to guide you, He will soften you from the anger. He will comfort and strengthen you. “For my soul was grieved. I was embittered in my heart. I was so senseless and ignorant. I was a brute beast before you. Nevertheless, I am continually with you. You have held my right hand. You will guide me with your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. Whom do I have in heaven? There is no one on earth whom I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart fails, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever…But it is good for me to come close to God. I have made the Lord Yahweh my refuge, that I may tell of all your works.” (Psalms 73:21-26, 28 WEBUS) 12 March 2023 - Becoming The Light Of The World - New Creation Church Sermon Notes (Pastor Gabriel Tan)New Sermon Notes: Pastor Gabriel showed us how we could become the light of the world when we have no light in and of ourselves. We can arise and shine because the Lord has lit us up! Praise and worship songs performed:
Matthew 5:14-16 - How can be the light of the world when we have no light in and of ourselves? This message will explore that. “You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden. Neither do you light a lamp and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house. Even so, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14-16 WEBUS) Teachers, your words have an impact on your students. Mark 4:13-20 - Jesus graciously explained the parable of the seed and the sower. The devil does not wait to steal God’s word from your heart. He knows that God’s word can change your life. This parable is setting the context for Jesus’ words in the next few verses. “He said to them, “Don’t you understand this parable? How will you understand all of the parables? The farmer sows the word. The ones by the road are the ones where the word is sown; and when they have heard, immediately Satan comes and takes away the word which has been sown in them. These in the same way are those who are sown on the rocky places, who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with joy. They have no root in themselves, but are short-lived. When oppression or persecution arises because of the word, immediately they stumble. Others are those who are sown among the thorns. These are those who have heard the word, and the cares of this age, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. Those which were sown on the good ground are those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit, some thirty times, some sixty times, and some one hundred times.” (Mark 4:13-20 WEBUS) Mark 4:21-23 - The moment you received Jesus as Lord, your light was lit and you became the light of the world. You are now walking in the light. “He said to them, “Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Isn’t it put on a stand? For there is nothing hidden except that it should be made known, neither was anything made secret but that it should come to light. If any man has ears to hear, let him hear.”” (Mark 4:21-23 WEBUS) The Book of Revelation is primarily the revelation of Jesus Christ, not of the Antichrist. The golden lamp-stand represents both Jesus as well as the church. Jesus is the head of the church (His body). The best place for you to shine is within the church. Everything good you do (shining as a light) points towards the central shaft (Jesus). 26 February 2023 - Exchange Natural Strength For Divine Strength - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us not to resign to natural facts about aging but to believe God for His supernatural empowerment in our bodies for renewal of youth. Praise and worship songs performed: 1. House Of The Lord - Phil Wickham 2. King Of Kings - Hillsong Music 3. I Love You Lord - Maranatha Music 4. Glory To The Lamb - ZionSong Music Pastor Prince released words of knowledge for gifts of healings for the following conditions: Heart arrhythmia Shortness of breath Pain in the right side lower back Knee conditions Liver condition that was diagnosed by doctor Fatigue Dark and bruised toe Elbow condition Neck condition and stiff neck that could not turn Acid reflux and gastritis We will not go through the Great Tribulation. We will be looking down from Heaven at the Tribulation happening on earth. The church is not waiting for the Tribulation, but for the Rapture. During the Rapture, we will receive our glorified bodies and we will be immortal forever. Logos is a general word (the whole Scripture), whereas rhema is a more specific utterance from God for a particular time and season. The word in season that God has breathed upon. 1 Chronicles 12:32 - The word “times” here is “eth” in Hebrew and “kairos” in Greek. The rhema word released by Pastor Prince is for those who sit under his ministry. “Of the children of Issachar, men who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, their heads were two hundred; and all their brothers were at their command.” (1 Chronicles 12:32 WEBUS) Leviticus 27:1-8 - A vow to God is a picture of man’s strength and effort. God wants us to know our weakness and rely on His strength and grace. Grace will empower us to do more than what the Law demands. For example, instead of merely not committing adultery, Grace will cause husbands to love their wives just as Christ loved the church. This valuation is in the context of capacity for war, not in terms of standing or worth before God. In the natural and in general, a man has more capacity for war than a woman has. In general, a younger person has more capacity for war than an elderly person. The Law is about natural strength. Let the priest (a picture of Jesus and Grace) assign the valuation for you. Don’t stand before Moses (a picture of the Law). God wants you healthy, strong, and living in the supernatural, not limited to the natural valuation. “Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘When a man consecrates a person to Yahweh in a vow, according to your valuation, your valuation of a male from twenty years old to sixty years old shall be fifty shekels of silver, according to the shekel of the sanctuary. If she is a female, then your valuation shall be thirty shekels. If the person is from five years old to twenty years old, then your valuation shall be for a male twenty shekels, and for a female ten shekels. If the person is from a month old to five years old, then your valuation shall be for a male five shekels of silver, and for a female your valuation shall be three shekels of silver. If the person is from sixty years old and upward; if he is a male, then your valuation shall be fifteen shekels, and for a female ten shekels. But if he is poorer than your valuation, then he shall be set before the priest, and the priest shall assign a value to him. The priest shall assign a value according to his ability to pay.” (Leviticus 27:1-8 WEBUS) |
