God made us with emotions to feel them. Primarily, it is for us to feel loved by Him. When bad experiences happen to us, there is the temptation to harden our hearts and tell ourselves never to trust or feel again.

God made us in His image as spirits and designed for us to live in bodies.

Lucifer used to be the worship archangel in Heaven. But he rebelled because of pride. When you are anointed with gifts from God, stay humble.

Songs and music can draw crowds to God or away from Him.

In the beginning, God created all things for man to enjoy. He wants us to enjoy His blessings, but not to abuse (abnormal use) them.

Eve ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil out of ignorance, but Adam ate it knowingly because of his love for Eve. He chose to rebel against God’s commandment not to eat from that tree.

New Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us in this Resurrection Sunday message how Jesus’ resurrection fulfills the Feast Of First Fruits of the Old Testament!

Jesus presented Himself to the Father as the first fruit on the day He was resurrected

​1 Corinthians 15:20-26 - Jesus is the first fruit. All who believe in Him will be resurrected to eternal life in glorified bodies.

“But now Christ has been raised from the dead. He became the first fruit of those who are asleep. For since death came by man, the resurrection of the dead also came by man. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then those who are Christ’s at his coming. Then the end comes, when he will deliver up the Kingdom to God the Father, when he will have abolished all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy that will be abolished is death.” (1 Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭20‬-‭26‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

As a righteous Judge, God cannot sweep sin under the carpet. Sin must be punished. That is why God the Father sent Jesus His Son to die for our sins at the cross.

Jesus became sin for us so that we could become the righteousness of God in Him. There was a transfer at the cross.

In Old Testament times, the offerer would bring an unblemished lamb to the temple priest as a sin offering.
The priest would examine the lamb for blemishes, and if approved, the offerer would lay his hands on the head of the lamb. The lamb’s righteousness was then symbolically transferred to the offerer while the sinfulness of the offerer was transferred to the lamb.
The offerer was then given a knife to slit the throat of the lamb, so the lamb died in the offerer’s place, and the offerer walked away righteous and blessed.
This is a picture of how Jesus received our sins and died in our place, while we received His righteousness and were born-again in true holiness and righteousness, blessed and favored by God.

The Gospel is not about you doing—it is about what Jesus has done at the cross.

Leviticus 23:9-11 - Jesus died on the Passover and rose on the Feast of First Fruits. When Mary wanted to embrace Him, He told her not to hold on to Him—God the Father must have the preeminence. He then ascended to Heaven to present Himself before the Father as the first fruits of the harvest.

“Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When you have come into the land which I give to you, and shall reap its harvest, then you shall bring the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest. He shall wave the sheaf before Yahweh, to be accepted for you. On the next day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.” (Leviticus‬ ‭23‬:‭9‬-‭11‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

Jesus was raised on a Sunday. That is why it has become “The Lord’s Day” and is the first day of the week. This is the new order.

At the Rapture, we will receive glorified, immortal bodies. We will be in those bodies for eternity.

1 Corinthians 15:42-43 - When a believer passes away, their body is sown in corruption, but at the Rapture, their bodies will be raised in incorruption, glory, and power.
The only part of our redemption that we are still waiting for is the redemption of our mortal bodies.

“So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown perishable; it is raised imperishable. It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.” (1 Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭42‬-‭43‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

1 Corinthians 15:3-6 - This disproves hallucination because over five hundred men saw the resurrected Jesus at once.
Jesus’ corpse also couldn’t have been stolen by the disciples because the burial cloths were still neatly in place in the tomb, with no sign of a theft.

“For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. Then he appeared to over five hundred brothers at once, most of whom remain until now, but some have also fallen asleep.” (1 Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭3‬-‭6‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

1 Corinthians 15:51-54 - All who are born-again believers will be taken up in the Rapture.

“Behold, I tell you a mystery. We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed. For this perishable body must become imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. But when this perishable body will have become imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then what is written will happen: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”” (1 Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭51‬-‭54‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

The glorified body has flesh and bones, not ethereal like a spirit or ghost.

The stone was not rolled away so that Jesus could come out. It was so that the disciples could go in and see the truth for themselves, that Jesus was risen from the dead.

Romans 4:22-25 - Since Jesus was raised from the dead, we know for a fact that our sins have all been forgiven.

“Therefore it also was “credited to him for righteousness.” Now it was not written that it was accounted to him for his sake alone, but for our sake also, to whom it will be accounted, who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead, who was delivered up for our trespasses, and was raised for our justification.” (Romans‬ ‭4‬:‭22‬-‭25‬ ‭WEBUS‬‬)

These sermon notes are independently-compiled by me, and I'm just a loyal and regular attendee of the the church's Sunday services, and I feel led to take detailed personal sermon notes of Pastor Prince's anointed messages to share them with the world, which desperately needs the true word of God and the original gospel of grace.

I feel blessed to be able to attend Pastor Joseph Prince's services in person, and would like to help everyone who isn't able to attend in person, to get hold of the messages as soon as it is preached!​​​
