25 March 2018 - Hypocrisy is an Abomination to God - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online
The gospel of grace opens up your heart and makes you generous. Of all the sins that Jesus publicly rebukes and exposes in the gospels, hypocrisy brings out that anger in Him the most. He responds this way because He loves them. The Mount of Beatitudes is almost acoustically perfect. The Father already prepared the place for His Son to preach the Sermon on the Mount. Leprosy is a disease that when you contract it, you have to be kept out of the camp, isolated away from people. Under the Law, if you touch a leper, you will become unclean. Psalms 147:3-5 - The world is full of broken hearts. God wants to heal us of our broken hearts. “He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds. He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name. Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.” (Psalms 147:3-5 NKJV) Under grace, Jesus touched the unclean leper and made him clean. Under the Law, the unclean makes the clean, unclean. Under the Law, 3000 people died at Mount Sinai. Under grace, 3000 people were saved on the Day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came. You will never feel that you are truly loved, until you know that someone knows all about you and still loves you. God knows all about you and still loves you. John 4:17-18 - Hypocrisy means “play acting - pretending to be what you are not”. Every time you pretend to be something you’re not, you won’t feel loved. Until you stop pretending to be someone you’re not, you cannot feel loved by God and God can’t cast out your fear and transform you. Like the woman at the well in Samaria. Jesus exposed her sin courteously. Jesus did the “divine sandwich” - He praised her first, exposed her sin, and then praised her again. The Bible says that Jesus “needed to go through Samaria”. It was not a topographical need. It was a grace need - He wanted to love her and save her. “The woman answered and said, “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “You have well said, ‘I have no husband,’ for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; in that you spoke truly.”” (John 4:17-18 NKJV) Never argue with a woman when she is rested or when she is tired. Basically, don’t argue with her.

11 March 2018 - Live the Let Go Life with Pastor Joseph Prince on TBN (Episode 1 to 3) - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineEpisode 1 of Live the Let-Go Life with Pastor Joseph Prince: With God on your side, you can let your worries go. Letting go off your worries and problems is not irresponsible. It is the most powerful thing you can do. We have a Heavenly Father Who loves us. When we let go of our problems into His hands, we are letting His supply of grace flow in our lives. I Peter 5:7 - We can cast all our cares into His hands because He cares for us. “casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” (I Peter 5:7 NKJV) Luke 12:25 - We can’t even accomplish the least by worrying. In fact, it harms our health. “And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?” (Luke 12:25 NKJV) John 10:10 - Jesus wants us to live an abundant, overflowing life, and that happens when we live the let go life. “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10 NKJV) Philippians 4:6-7 - We can let go and receive the peace of God. “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV) Psalm 91:1-2 - When you’re traveling, if God doesn’t keep the plane up, no amount of us can keep it up. You can lean back and trust that God is looking out for you. “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”” (Psalms 91:1-2 NKJV) Matthew 6:25 - Jesus’ finished work at the cross has already paid for all of our blessings. When you worry about a particular area of your life, you are constricting God's supply in that area. It's like blocking God's soft golden pipes of supply. We have lots of grace in areas that we don't worry about. The supply is always flowing. It’s not that only when we pray then the supply starts flowing. God has already supplied and is still supplying. We just need to receive it - let go and let His supply flow. ““Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?” (Matthew 6:25 NKJV) Let go and let God be God in your life. That is how you receive the breakthrough that you’re waiting for. What is the Purpose of Water Baptism? The Difference between the Baptism of John and the Baptism of the Holy SpiritIf you like this original Bible study, you can also check out my Patreon for more exclusive Bible studies, sermon notes, devotionals and eBooks that are not posted anywhere else. “Is water baptism really necessary today?”, “Is it a requirement for salvation?”. These are some questions that I had about water baptism. In this post, I will answer these questions and show you from God’s word what is the difference between the Baptism of John and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Before we begin, I’d like to define our main terms. The Hebrew word for "baptism" is Mikveh and the Greek word for it is "baptizo". In both languages, the meaning is "to immerse". I would define “Water Baptism” (in today's context) as: Water Baptism is when a person is immersed in water as a public confession of his or her faith in Jesus Christ. I’d also like to define what the “Baptism of the Holy Spirit” is: The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is when the Holy Spirit falls on a believer, immersing him or her. As a result, the believer receives spiritual empowerment as well as the spiritual gifts of speaking in tongues and prophesying. 4 March 2018 - Restoration for Every Regret in your Life - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online(Originally preached by Pastor Joseph Prince live at Lakewood Church on 28 October 2017.) God never plays catch-up. What God does is in the invisible realm and it will manifest physically. What is of the flesh manifests quickly but is not comparable to what God does. The devil always plays catch-up to what God is doing. If you can’t tell what God is doing, see what the devil is doing in your life, reverse it, and you’ll know what God is doing. Example: If you have sickness in your body, it’s because God has released health in your life. The people of the world only see what the devil is doing, but we need to see what God is doing behind the scenes. Don’t pray for God to move against what the devil is doing. We need to pray to see what God has done and declare it! Even when believers lose in the natural, they still win! For example: Believers don’t die, they fall asleep. When a believer dies, he or she steps out from the body feeling even more alive! Leviticus 6:4-6 - When God restores, it’s always better in quality and/or quantity! There are five offerings under the Old Covenant to depict the one act of Jesus’ sacrifice at the cross. This one is the fifth offering, the Trespass Offering. Trespass Offering is for what you have done, Sin Offering is for who you are: by birth, human’s nature is sin because of Adam's sin. “If you have sinned in any of these ways, you are guilty. You must give back whatever you stole, or the money you took by extortion, or the security deposit, or the lost property you found, or anything obtained by swearing falsely. You must make restitution by paying the full price plus an additional 20 percent to the person you have harmed. On the same day you must present a guilt offering. As a guilt offering to the Lord, you must bring to the priest your own ram with no defects, or you may buy one of equal value.” (Leviticus 6:4-6 NLT) When Jesus was born, midnight became midday when angels and the star lit up the night sky. When Jesus hung on the cross midday became midnight. Jesus cried out “My God, My God, Why have you forsaken Me?”. God forsook Him because at that moment, Jesus became our sin. It’s a divine exchange. Jesus received our darkness and condemnation. We received Jesus’ righteousness and blessings. Today our prayers avail much. Ours are prayers of a righteous man. 25 February 2018 - Your Disqualifications are your Qualifications in Christ - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineChurch is not a building - it is a gathering of God’s people to celebrate the Lord Jesus Christ who is altogether lovely. In the kingdom of God when you lose your usefulness, capacity to produce, or when you go through a valley/ dark time, the Lord Jesus never leaves us. Psalm 23 - The beginning of Psalm 23 is written like as if King David is talking to you. When the valley of the shadow of death is mentioned, he changes to talk to God directly. In your dark times, it’s time for you to talk to God. You will walk through your challenges, you won’t stay there. God prepares a table before you in the presence of your enemies. Even when the problems are still present, God wants you to feed on His word. “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.” (Psalms 23:1-6 NKJV) In the day of Elijah’s faith, ravens fed him. In the day of his discouragement, angels fed him. Be glad that God doesn’t always answer your prayers. Elijah asked God to let him die, but Elijah has not died, even till now. He was carried up to heaven in a chariot of fire and never experienced death. Luke 10:36-42 - The secret of loving your neighbor is explained in the following story of Mary and Martha. You can’t love your neighbor if you don’t sit at Jesus’ feet to receive from Him first. Grace is not about what you can do. Just receive from God. There’s nothing you can do for God on your own. The kingdom of God is the only kingdom that asks you to receive without having to give anything of your self-efforts. The parables of Jesus are all about how the last, least and lost can get God’s favor. “So which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?” And he said, “He who showed mercy on him.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.” Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.” And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”” (Luke 10:36-42 NKJV) Matthew 12:20 - A reed is common in Israel. A bruised reed is useless. Even though we are incapable in and of ourselves, Jesus will not abandon us. A smoking flax is like a candle wick that is burning out. Even when we are burning out, Jesus will not throw us away. “A bruised reed He will not break, And smoking flax He will not quench, Till He sends forth justice to victory;” (Matthew 12:20 NKJV) Isaiah 42:3 - Matthew 12:20 says “victory” instead of “truth”. When you listen to the truth (the gospel of Grace) you will get your victory. “A bruised reed He will not break, And smoking flax He will not quench; He will bring forth justice for truth.” (Isaiah 42:3 NKJV) 18 February 2018 - God Still Loves Me Even When I Fail - Pastor Mark Ng Chinese New Year Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesChinese New Year is like a picture of grace (undeserved favor) - as a child whose family celebrates Chinese New Year, one wakes up with red envelopes that contain money, has yummy goodies to eat, and only words of blessings are spoken that day. Isaiah 11:8 - In the Millennium when Jesus returns to rule on earth, it will be a beautiful world. Little children will even play safely near once-dangerous animals. In the Millennium, people who die at the age of 100 are considered to have died young. Chinese New Year is like a mini-Millennium experience in the family for 15 days. “The nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole, And the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper’s den.” (Isaiah 11:8 NKJV) Grace is not what we can do for God - it’s about what God can do for you. Chinese New Year is also known as the Spring Festival: 春 (spring) = 三 (three: the Triune God) + 人 (man: Jesus became a man) + 日 (day: the day where Jesus died for us is the day of salvation) Jesus knew the state we were in and He came to do a thoroughly “spring cleaning” for us. Romans 5:9 - The auspicious color of Chinese New Year is red. Red like the blood of Jesus which has cleansed us from our sins. “Therefore, since we have now been justified [declared free of the guilt of sin] by His blood, [how much more certain is it that] we will be saved from the wrath of God through Him.” (ROMANS 5:9 AMP) 11 February 2018 - Self-Condemnation is Accepting the Sentence of the Devil - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineWhen pastors preach in services, they are dealing with lives. Depression to the point of contemplating suicide is not just on those of the world but it is coming on believers as well. Believers are supposed to be the happiest people in the world! The devil doesn’t want us to be happy and he wants us to be bad advertisements for Jesus. We don’t have to be afraid of the devil’s attacks because we have the most powerful weapon on our side (stronger than nuclear weapons): the blood of Jesus and the name of Jesus. At the name of Jesus every knee bows - every cancer, long term ailment, chronic disease, curse - they all bow. Now we have the power of attorney - we have the legal permission to act on behalf of a name - Jesus. When a man cannot control himself, it’s most likely motivated by an evil spirit. Medicine is not a cure, it only helps temporarily. We need spiritual weapons - bind the evil spirits in Jesus’ name. Ezekiel 28:13-19 - Cherubs were the highest intelligence before man came. The devil’s wisdom is now corrupted but he still has that intelligence. “You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz, and diamond, Beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes Was prepared for you on the day you were created. “You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity was found in you. “By the abundance of your trading You became filled with violence within, And you sinned; Therefore I cast you as a profane thing Out of the mountain of God; And I destroyed you, O covering cherub, From the midst of the fiery stones. “Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor; I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, That they might gaze at you. “You defiled your sanctuaries By the multitude of your iniquities, By the iniquity of your trading; Therefore I brought fire from your midst; It devoured you, And I turned you to ashes upon the earth In the sight of all who saw you. All who knew you among the peoples are astonished at you; You have become a horror, And shall be no more forever.” ’ ” (Ezekiel 28:13-19 NKJV) Psalm 89:14 - The devil wants to be the successor of God. We are caught in the battle of the ages. The devil knows that God’s throne is established by righteousness. Any slight infringement of righteousness or justice by God will cause Him to lose His throne. “Mercy and truth” in Hebrew is “Hesed ve emet” which means grace and truth. “Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before Your face.” (Psalms 89:14 NKJV) 4 February 2018 - The Fall of Lucifer and What Does Satan Want - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineJesus wants to be part of our daily lives. He daily loads us with His benefits. If we fall into sin as believers, it’s not the end of the world, the forgiveness has been provided for by Jesus. Preaching right believing cannot lead to wrong living. Preaching the truth cannot lead to living a lie. Everything beautiful in nature reflects our Creator. Only someone beautiful can create beautiful things. Even the adorable child you carry in your hands was created by Him. God must be cuter and more adorable. Some people believe that the world was created by a Big Bang. Pastor Prince believes that yes, when God speaks there is a Big Bang. Man did not evolve from a lower species. Everything in this world breaks down and degenerates. If you leave a cup of hot coffee on the table, it will cool down. Man cannot give life. Only God can. The magicians of Egypt under Pharaoh couldn’t reproduce what God did when He sent the plague of lice. They had to admit that it was truly the finger of God. Proverbs 16:12 - God’s throne is established by righteousness as well. If God does something unrighteous, His throne would be shaken and the entire universe would collapse. “It is an abomination for kings to commit wickedness, For a throne is established by righteousness.” (Proverbs 16:12 NKJV) Proverbs 20:28 - The word “upholden” in Hebrew means supported by. “Mercy and truth” in Hebrew is “hesed ve emet” which means grace and truth. God has to be righteous, but His heart is for true grace. “Mercy and truth preserve the king: and his throne is upholden by mercy.” (Proverbs 20:28 KJV) What is Leprosy? You get cut off from your people. Lepers live isolated. It's like a life sentence. It's more than just a physical thing - it represents our sin. Under the Law, if the leper touches another person, the other person would become unclean. Under grace, when Jesus touched the leper, the leper became clean. The Law demands, grace supplies. The cross is the answer to God's heart of grace: Righteousness says that if man sins, there must be death. Because of the quality of the Man (Jesus) that died for us, there was a huge overpayment for our sin debt. Where is the grace and love part of the cross? It is that God didn’t want the punishment for our sins to be upon us. He chose to have it upon Jesus instead. Adam bowed his knee to the outlaw spirit and gave the earth to the devil. The devil hates us because we are made in God’s image. The devil brought everything that’s the opposite of true pleasure into the earth. Even if something sinful gives temporary pleasure, it will cause a more permanent pain after that. God did not create carnivorous animals. When the lion was created, it did not originally eat meat. When Adam fell, all Creation fell with him. This is the way God designed: a representative’s leadership would determine whether everyone in the family is blessed or cursed. Your father was the representative head of your household when you were a child. Whether you like it or not, your destiny is wrapped up in the lives of your ancestors. Romans 8:22 - After Adam fell, all Creation travails and moans, crying out for redemption. When Jesus returns to rule on earth, children will even play safely with once dangerous animals. Animals will be restored to their original, good-natured selves. “For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.” (Romans 8:22 NKJV) 28 January 2018 - The Love of God Revealed in the Lives of Mephibosheth and David - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineLet God have the time to work His miracles in a service. Don’t let your life, marriage, family, etc. become a vending machine - everything instantaneous, and in express mode. Don’t let professionalism take over every area of your life. Sometimes you have to take time to enjoy what the Lord has given you. The longest chapter in the Book of Genesis is Genesis 24 where Abraham sent an unnamed servant to find a bride for his beloved son Isaac. That unnamed servant represents the Holy Spirit. Right now, the Holy Spirit is working all over the world, preparing a beautiful bride for Jesus. The church is the beautiful bride of Christ. It is not a building. John 1:17 - You can send a gift from a distance, but when you “come” in person, it’s personal and near. Grace and truth are one. When you touch water, you touch wet. Don’t try to separate grace and truth - that’s trying to separate what God has put together. What God has put together, let no man tear asunder. In Hebrew, grace and truth are “hesed ve emet”. “For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” (John 1:17 NKJV) Give room for wrath. Let God be your Avenger. Don’t try to do it yourself. The sermon on the mount can be summarized like this: God is unfairly good. To God, 1 plus 1 equals 1. A man and a woman in marriage becomes 1 flesh. God’s economy is different from the world. II Samuel 2:5-6 - The word “kindness” is hesed. The words “kindness and truth” are “hesed ve emet”. People have the idea that truth has a negative connotation, that it’s hard. The word truth doesn’t mean judgment. Hesed ve Emet just means true grace. “So David sent messengers to the men of Jabesh Gilead, and said to them, “You are blessed of the LORD, for you have shown this kindness to your lord, to Saul, and have buried him. And now may the LORD show kindness and truth to you. I also will repay you this kindness, because you have done this thing.” (II Samuel 2:5-6 NKJV) Genesis 15:7-21 - God works with covenant. The reason why everything is being shaken in the Middle East and especially Jerusalem, is because of covenant. When God cut a covenant with Abraham, He put Abraham to sleep. The blood of animals was everywhere because the animals were divided in two. The vultures that came down on the carcasses are demons - Jesus defined in a parable that the birds of the air that snatch away the seeds is the devil. God crossed to the other side while Abraham was sleeping. It represents how Jesus took our place and suffered to pay for our sins. While Abraham was sleeping, he saw in a vision that a Smoking Oven (a picture of God the Father appearing in a cloud of smoke on Mount Sinai) and a Burning Torch (Jesus the Light of the World) passed between the pieces. That represents God the Father and God the Son cutting the covenant on behalf of Abraham - Jesus taking Abraham’s place. That is because God didn’t want Abraham to be held accountable for it. “Then He said to him, “I am the LORD, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to inherit it.” And he said, “Lord GOD, how shall I know that I will inherit it?” So He said to him, “Bring Me a three-year-old heifer, a three-year-old female goat, a three-year-old ram, a turtledove, and a young pigeon.” Then he brought all these to Him and cut them in two, down the middle, and placed each piece opposite the other; but he did not cut the birds in two. And when the vultures came down on the carcasses, Abram drove them away. Now when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and behold, horror and great darkness fell upon him. Then He said to Abram: “Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them four hundred years. And also the nation whom they serve I will judge; afterward they shall come out with great possessions. Now as for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried at a good old age. But in the fourth generation they shall return here, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete.” And it came to pass, when the sun went down and it was dark, that behold, there appeared a smoking oven and a burning torch that passed between those pieces. On the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying: “To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates— the Kenites, the Kenezzites, the Kadmonites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.”” (Genesis 15:7-21 NKJV) Teach your daughters that virginity is important because sex is a covenant act. The first time a woman has sex there is a shedding of blood - covenant. Sex is so beautiful that it’s deeper than just being physical - it’s spirit, soul and body. 24 January 2018 - Encounter Night: The Lost World Out There Needs Grace - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes for Midweek ServicePastor Prince ministered in healing as led by the Holy Spirit. Lots of people received healing. Healing anointing is not limited by time or space. Receive your healing for whatever condition you have as you are reading this now in Jesus’ name! Believers will lay hands on the sick and they SHALL recover. It may not be immediate healing but they will recover for sure. Many times when you receive a healing miracle from God, you won’t feel anything supernatural. No heat, cold, electricity-feeling or anything. Divine healing doesn’t have to come with dramatic flair to be effective. Holiness is not the purchase price for your healing. Healing is a gift. Are you still sin-conscious? If you are, then you still haven’t received the grace of God. The one who is supposed to be satisfied by the payment is the one to whom the debt is owed. If God is satisfied by the payment that Jesus has given at the cross, then why aren’t you? One sacrifice for sins forever. One sacrifice for sickness forever. Healing is a gift - it is a grace. Word from Pastor Prince: There are a few of you that have been feeling dizzy lately during the day. It’s making you feeling like you’re getting old and getting some sort of serious sickness. It’s an attack from an evil spirit. Stand up where you are and receive deliverance from it by faith in Jesus’ name. |
