8 November 2015 - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online - Grace Revolution Tour at Lakewood Church 2015 - Receive Freedom and Provision Through Confessing Your Righteousness in Christ!Colossians 1:17 - In Christ, all things are held together! Jesus wants to be in the midst (in the center) of our lives! “And He Himself existed before all things, and in Him all things consist (cohere, are held together). [Prov. 8:22-31.]” (Colossians 1:17 AMP) The holiest city in all Israel is Jerusalem. The holiest location in Jerusalem is the Temple Mount. The holiest location on the Temple Mount is the Holy of Holies. The holiest object in the Holy of Holies is the Mercy Seat! Grace and holiness are not on opposite ends. The greatest holiness is grace, hope and mercy. I Corinthians 13:13 - The greatest of the three is love! “And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” (I Corinthians 13:13 NKJV) I Thessalonians 1:3 - The Apostle Paul encourages all believers to continue in their work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in the Lord Jesus. “remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father,” (I Thessalonians 1:3 NKJV) Revelation 2:1-2 - The church of Ephesus did their works and labor in patience, without faith, hope or love! That's the fault that Jesus found against them. ““To the angel of the church of Ephesus write, ‘These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands: “I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars;” (Revelation 2:1-2 NKJV) Romans 1:16 - The gospel is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes! “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.” (Romans 1:16 NKJV) No one is as beautiful as our Lord Jesus Christ. He cannot disappoint you. He is both the Lion and the Lamb. He is both majesty and meekness. When sinners touch our Lord Jesus, they don't defile Him or make Him unclean. Instead, they receive what He is. The reintroduction of the Law after sinners have been saved by grace, kills revivals. II Corinthians 5:21 - Be careful what you say about yourself. You should say "I am the righteousness of God in Christ!" Jesus received our sins upon Himself at the cross, and we have received Jesus' righteousness. It's a divine exchange! “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (II Corinthians 5:21 NKJV) When you believe right, you will live right. You will become holy by accident! You will attract God's favor and blessings to you. Matthew 6:33 - Don't dissipate your faith by praying and believing for individual provisions. But only seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all those things: clothing, food, provisions, and more, will be added to you! “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33 NKJV) Romans 14:17 - The kingdom of God is not from the outside-in, but it is from the inside-out. God is underlining what the kingdom of God is for our benefit - it is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit! “for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 14:17 NKJV) It's not make-believe that we are righteous. Jesus really carried our sins. We are righteous! Never judge your standing by your behavior. Always judge your behavior by your standing! As a believer, you are always the righteousness of God in Christ, even when you fall into sin. In the midst of your sin, say "I am the righteousness of God in Christ!" Call those things which are not as if they are! The devil and your flesh will come screaming to you, calling you a hypocrite. Ignore them, and continue to declare that you are the righteousness of God in Christ! Truth always sounds like heresy to those who are religious. Isaiah 45:23-24 - Isaiah saw a generation of believers (that's us!) who confess that they are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus! “I have sworn by Myself; The word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, And shall not return, That to Me every knee shall bow, Every tongue shall take an oath. He shall say, ‘Surely in the LORD I have righteousness and strength. To Him men shall come, And all shall be ashamed Who are incensed against Him.” (Isaiah 45:23-24 NKJV) Romans 10:2-4 - You don't have to seek your own righteousness. Righteousness is a gift! “For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.” (Romans 10:2-4 NKJV) Christianity is not a journey towards completeness. It is a journey that starts with us being complete, and we are walking out our completeness! We start our journey seated in Christ! Jesus rose on Sunday because it is a day of rest. Sunday is the beginning of the week. We begin our journey in Christ at rest, and we are empowered to walk out the rest of our days! When we rest, God works. When we work, God rests! Genesis 3:19 - The passion of Christ starts in the garden of Gethsemane. There is a redeeming quality when Jesus sweat blood in the garden of Gethsemane. By His sweating of blood, Jesus redeemed us from the curse of sweat that was upon us because of Adam's sin. “In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust you shall return.”” (Genesis 3:19 NKJV) John 16:7-11 - The Holy Spirit is a warm, friendly voice inside you who guides you! Many believers wrongly-think that the Holy Spirit is a nagger. There is only one sin that the Holy Spirit convicts non-believers of: the sin of unbelief in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit convicts believers only of righteousness. This is because everyday we look at evidence that seems to show us that we are not righteous. The Holy Spirit lovingly assures us of our righteousness in Christ! The Holy Spirit convicts the devil of his impending judgement. “Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.” (John 16:7-11 NKJV) Acts 10:43-44 - God loves it when the forgiveness of sins through Christ is preached! These words meant so much to God that He fell upon all of the hearers at that moment. “To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins.” While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word.” (Acts 10:43-44 NKJV) The world needs to hear the good news - the gospel of grace! Salvation is a gift. It's free! We don't have to clean ourselves before taking a bath. Jesus is the bath. Come as you are. He will make you clean! Ephesians 4:29-31 - Words that do not administer grace grieves the Holy Spirit. “Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.” (Ephesians 4:29-31 NKJV) Hebrews 10:15-20 - The Holy Spirit saw our sins being placed upon Jesus at the cross, and He also saw Jesus being judged for our sins at the cross. He saw every stroke of God's judgement fall upon Jesus at the cross, all the way until Jesus cried out "It is finished!" He witnesses to us about these truths! “But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us; for after He had said before, “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,” then He adds, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin. Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,” (Hebrews 10:15-20 NKJV) Matthew 12:31-32 - The Pharisees rejected Jesus in His threefold glory - as the greatest Priest, Prophet and King. They knew full well who Jesus is, and even saw Him in person, yet they kept rejecting Him - that's what the unpardonable sin is. ““Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.” (Matthew 12:31-32 NKJV) I hope that you have been blessed by reading this post on "8 November 2015 - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online - Grace Revolution Tour at Lakewood Church 2015 - Receive Freedom and Provision Through Confessing Your Righteousness in Christ!".
