5 Life Lessons and Moral Value In "Logan (2017)" (Spoilers Alert!) - aka Wolverine 2017Leading Cast: Hugh Jackman as James "Logan" Howlett (The Wolverine) Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles Xavier (Professor X) Dafne Keen as Laura Kinney (X23) 1) Love can show up in the most unexpected way.
Logan never thought that it was possible for him to experience the bliss of family and kinship. Through the appearance of his daughter Laura in his life, he was able to love her and to be loved by her. It was most apparent towards the end of the movie when Logan said "So this is how it feels like...", referring to finally experiencing familial bliss. 2) There is no greater love than to sacrifice one's life for his friends.Despite being tortured and treated savagely by his oppressors, Caliban the tracker mutant still helped Logan, Charles and Laura to escape capture by giving delayed info about their location. In the end, Caliban even sacrificed his life with two grenades to destroy Dr. Zander Rice's vehicle, helping to turn the tide of the battle in Logan's favor. 3) A nice thing to do may not be the right thing to do!After helping the Munsons family to round up their escaped horses, Logan, Charles and Laura were invited for dinner at the Munsons home. After dinner, Logan stated that their group should be leaving, but the Munsons family were so hospitable and insisted that they stay overnight. That decision proved to be a fatal one, leading to the tragic collateral massacre of the Munsons family. If they had known how to practice discernment and wisdom, the Munsons would not have let the strangers stay overnight. 4) The path of the wicked leads to destruction.Dr. Zander Rice was largely responsible for the extinction of the natural mutants and he wanted to engineer mutants that could be controlled and wielded as weapons. In the end, he and his lackeys were killed by the very mutants that they sought to manipulate and destroy. 5) Fear and skepticism come hand in hand
Logan lived in the abandoned smelting plant in Texas to hide Charles from potential enemies who could be looking for them. His fear of enemies discovering their hideout led him to doubt and reject what Charles was telling him: that there was a new mutant out there (Laura). It was safer and easier to believe that all other mutants were already extinct. The great extent of his skepticism can be seen when Laura came to their hideout. Even when she was face to face with him, he still doubted that she was a mutant. Below is the Official Trailer for "Logan (2017)" aka Wolverine 2017 if you haven't watched the movie yet!
