26 March 2017 - Good Things Happen to Us When We Have Peace - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online
This sermon was originally preached back in 2006. The anointing of God is timeless, so the power of God that was present and available back then is still available for you today! Man's way is based on the avoidance-mentality. Books on health talk about avoiding types of food - almost like saying we need to become vegetarian and eat only fruits and vegetables. Those who advocate that are implying that the earth has not fallen. We cannot trust in creation, we must trust in redemption. Romans 5:1-2 - If you are saved, you have peace with God. Once you believe in what Jesus has done for you at the cross, you have been justified by faith. In Greek, it also says "Let us have peace", let us possess that peace with God actively. Many people have more faith in the devil's ability to hurt and destroy them than in God's protection. Faith can be defined as having a good opinion of God. Abraham was strong in faith because he had a good opinion of God. If God shuts a window it's because He's about to rip off the roof! If God closes a door, he's about to open the gate - If you are successful at a smaller calling, you won't go pursue a higher calling. God wants to take you higher! “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” (Romans 5:1-2 NKJV) Abraham had such a good opinion of God that he brought his beloved son Isaac up to Mount Moriah to be sacrificed. He couldn't see God leading the ram up to the mountain too as Isaac's substitute. The world thinks that they have to watch their own backs and fend for themselves. They don't have a good opinion of God. God watches over His beloved, even when they are sleeping. One of the most beautiful creations made by God was made when man was sleeping - the woman. When you have this peace, you will have access into God's unmerited favor. Job 22:21 - We are who God says we are. We are in Christ that's why we're important to God. Even if we do NOTHING for God, we are still important to God. If someone finds a dirty, unfinished painting by Leonardo Da Vinci today, it will still sell for millions of dollars even though its unfinished. It's not about the work, it's about the person - When you are important, everything you do is important. God justifies us in Christ. The Bible says that whoever find a wife finds favor with the Lord. Your husband can also be your blessing. ““Now acquaint yourself with Him, and be at peace; Thereby good will come to you.” (Job 22:21 NKJV)
Abraham had such a good opinion of God that he brought his beloved son Isaac up to Mount Moriah to be sacrificed. He couldn't see God leading the ram up to the mountain too as Isaac's substitute. The world thinks that they have to watch their own backs and fend for themselves. They don't have a good opinion of God. God watches over His beloved, even when they are sleeping.
I Peter 3:10-11 - The one thing we are told to pursue is peace. Once we understand grace, we must enter peace. Grace and peace are twins. They go together. Shalom is not just peace in our mind. It is wholeness and completeness in our body, mind and soul. God has put the word "Shalom" in the mouths of the Jewish people. Even though they don't know Jesus today, declaring Shalom still keeps them healthy. “For “He who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it.” (I Peter 3:10-11 NKJV) There is such a thing as "false peace". God is both love and righteousness. Love alone cannot hold this universe together - it is the righteousness and justice that does. Because God is just, He has to punish sin. Because God is love, He wants to save the sinner. Therefore, the answer is the cross. On the night of the first Passover, when God saw the blood of the lamb on the doorpost of an Israelite house, He caused the Angel of Death to pass over that household. If an Israelite said to himself "I reject all guilt, and God loves me, he won't judge me.", that's still false peace because it's on the wrong premise. When he wakes in the morning he will still cry his eyeballs out because his firstborn son will die. He believed in the love of God without the sacrifice. If another Israelite and his son are in their house and they have the blood on their doorpost, the son won't die, even if they spent the night huddled together in fear. They would have worried needlessly. They have peace with God but they are not possessing that peace. Many Christians are like that. They live their lives without security in their salvation and in constant fear for their safety and lives. The blood gives us the security. The word saying "I will pass over you" gives us the assurance. We have to have a good opinion of God because He's kinder to us than we can ever imagine. He loves us more than we can ever imagine. When we have peace, good will happen to us. I Peter 5:6-8 - We are not asked to remain downcast and sorrowful. We are asked to humble ourselves so that we can be exalted. When others see a shepherd boy, God sees a king. Pride is keeping all our cares to ourselves. It's saying that we can take care of ourselves without God. God wants us to cast ALL our cares upon Him. The more careFREE you are, the more you become un-devourable. The cares you keep on yourself are dust. The devil's food is dust. “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” (I Peter 5:6-8 NKJV)

Pastor Prince believes that in the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve spoke in the Hebrew language. The Hebrew language reads from right to left. Each Hebrew letter is a picture. The Hebrew word for "heal" is "Rapha". The three characters: (Head) (Mouth) (The Sacrifice) - To receive healing, your head and your mouth must declare the sacrifice (Jesus's finished work at the cross). Man can lie, but God cannot lie. Man can fail, but God cannot fail. The root word for Rapha (Heal) is "Raphah" (Relax) made up of the three characters: (Head) (Mouth) (Grace). To relax, your head and mouth must declare words of grace. When you learn to relax, you will not need healing. The Hebrew word for "healthy" is "Bari" made up of five characters: (The Son) (Hand/Power) (Sacrifice) (Grace) - The Son, by the power of His sacrifice, releases grace. Health is by the sure work of grace by Jesus Christ. The root word of "Shalom" is "Shaleim" which means "payment". You cannot have peace until you know that the payment for your peace has already been fully made by Jesus. The devil hates the Jewish people. It's a supernatural hate. The Jews belong to God's beloved nation of Israel. Heart disease is linked to stress. People who don't know how to relax have a high risk of having heart disease - people with "hurry-sickness" - they live life thinking that someone is chasing them. God designed the adrenal glands which produces adrenaline in fight-or-flights situations to temporarily enhance our physical strength, speed, vision, etc. so that we can deal with once-in-a-long-time situations, but many people are unconsciously activating it on a daily basis. This shouldn't be the way. The killer thought that the devil has put in our minds: We always have to be fast in order to be successful. Another thing that causes stress is worrying about what others say about us. Because of this, many people spend money they don't have to impress people that don't care. Take care of that stress and learn to rest. We have to learn to back off at the right time to give space to the Holy Spirit to work in our lives. Experts say that listening to Baroque music causes one to have a healthy heart and high intelligence. Through the process of entrainment, your body will become synchronized and aligned with the movement of the music. There is music that's higher than Baroque music - Heavenly music (praise and worship music). Your body will become entrained with with the rhythm of heaven. Jesus says take no thought of your life. Our Heavenly Father takes care of us. He cares for the birds, will He not take much better care of us? II Kings 4:20-26 - Learn to sandwich your child between the anointing of God - The dead child lay on Elisha's bed, and Elisha lay on top of him. He was sandwiched between the anointing of God. Soak your children with praise and worship music and grace-filled sermons that preach Jesus. "it is well" is translated as "Shalom". When you don't know what to say, say "Shalom". We think it's Elisha that raised the child from the dead. No, it was the mother's faith in God. “When he had taken him and brought him to his mother, he sat on her knees till noon, and then died. And she went up and laid him on the bed of the man of God, shut the door upon him, and went out. Then she called to her husband, and said, “Please send me one of the young men and one of the donkeys, that I may run to the man of God and come back.” So he said, “Why are you going to him today? It is neither the New Moon nor the Sabbath.” And she said, “ It is well.” Then she saddled a donkey, and said to her servant, “Drive, and go forward; do not slacken the pace for me unless I tell you.” And so she departed, and went to the man of God at Mount Carmel. So it was, when the man of God saw her afar off, that he said to his servant Gehazi, “Look, the Shunammite woman! Please run now to meet her, and say to her, ‘ Is it well with you? Is it well with your husband? Is it well with the child?’ ” And she answered, “ It is well.”” (II Kings 4:20-26 NKJV) Psalm 46:10 - The words "Be still" is "Raphah" which means relax. Relax and know that your God is with you. “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” (Psalms 46:10 NKJV) The devil pushes people to be so tired that the only time they can rest and fall asleep is in church. Pace yourself the day before church so that you can pay attention in church. Hearing God's word is more important than eating physical food. John 20:19-20 - Jesus stood in the midst of the fear. Jesus said only one word in Hebrew: "Shalom" (Peace be with you). He showed the disciples the payment for them to receive peace - His hands and His side. The Hebrew word for "Fear" is "Pehad" made up of three characters: (Mouth) (Fence) (Door) Fear is defined as when your mouth-door is shut. Some people keep silent when they are afraid. Thoughts in your mind will die unheard if you don't speak them. Don't speak words that make the devil think that he's winning. Jesus said "Take no thought". How do you take thoughts? By speaking them out from your mouth. The Hebrew word for "Fearless" is "Lopoxad" made up of five characters: (Mouth) (Nail) (Fence) (Door) (Cross) - When you put your fear between the finished work of Jesus, you will become fearless. “Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.” When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.” (John 20:19-20 NKJV) I hope that you have been blessed by reading this post on "26 March 2017 - Good Things Happen to Us When We Have Peace - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online".
