10 July 2016 - Possess Your Victory Over The Enemy - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineWe can't force people to be saved, but we can pray for them to be saved, and God will create such a situation where it is easy for them to receive Christ. God made every one of us, so He knows exactly what will work for each individual person. God gave the earth to Adam, but Adam unknowingly gave it away to the devil when he ate from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. It was a man that gave the earth away, so it must be a Man who takes it back from the devil. Jesus is that Man who took the earth back from the devil! Whenever you go to share the gospel, know that the whole of heaven is backing you up. Luke 10:19 - When you pray, pray in the name of Jesus - behind that name is all authority on heaven and on earth. An analogy: The power and credibility of a cheque depends on who whose name it is endorsed with. Jesus said that He gives us all authority over the dunamis (explosive power) of the devil. Speak to your pimple, your sickness, your disease, etc, saying: "I curse you ____ to your roots in Jesus' name!" "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."" (Luke 10:19, NKJV) The devil always wants to show the negative, because the negative perpetuates negativism. The media likes to spread negative news because negative news sells. Proverbs 15:30 - Good report makes your bones fat. Bad report makes your bones shrink. Nowadays people have a problem with osteoporosis (a disease which causes brittle bones). What better report is there than the gospel? Keep listening to the Good News - the word of God. "The light of the rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat." (Proverbs 15:30, KJV) In marriage you have big sex and outside of marriage you have small sex. That's the way it is. Hollywood won't present it to you that way. What is done against God's way does not fulfill. When you do things God's way, it is always better. The gospel is essentially this: God has made you righteous in Christ, not by your works but by what Jesus has done at the cross. The truth about righteousness being a gift is being attacked today. Jesus came to change our identity - we are not dirty rotten sinners anymore: we are the righteousness of God in Christ! ![]()

Speak to your pimple, your sickness, your disease, etc, saying: "I curse you ____ to your roots in Jesus' name!"
The antithesis to the gospel of grace is our works and self-efforts: essentially we are saying that we don't need Jesus if we depend on our works and self-efforts. Are you listening to and hearing the word of God regularly? If you are afflicted with cancer, it doesn't stop attacking your body 24/7. So why can't you use your iPhone, iPad or iPod to listen to the word of God 24/7 ? Some of the principalities in this world are not demonic, but they are in the church. They come in the form of people who come against grace, saying that this type of preaching produces licentiousness. Saying holy holy holy doesn't make people holy. Preaching the gospel makes people holy by accident. It produces holiness as a fruit. I Samuel 16:7 - It is wise for a woman to take care of her face. The word of God doesn't say that women cannot use makeup. How much makeup is acceptable? Well it depends on her face. Use this wisdom as taught in the Bible - when you go for a job interview, dress well and look presentable since man looks on the outward appearance! You can't force people to dress well. It comes by revelation. "But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD sees not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart." (I Samuel 16:7, NKJV) Luke 4:25-30 - The two examples were given by Jesus about provision and healing. Both the widow and Naaman the Syrian were Gentiles, and this angered the Jews who heard Jesus say this. Jesus is telling the Jews that they're not the only ones deserving of God's blessings. It is given to whoever looks to Jesus and believes in Him. “But I tell you truly, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, and there was a great famine throughout all the land; but to none of them was Elijah sent except to Zarephath, in the region of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow. And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet, and none of them was cleansed except Naaman the Syrian.” So all those in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath, and rose up and thrust Him out of the city; and they led Him to the brow of the hill on which their city was built, that they might throw Him down over the cliff. Then passing through the midst of them, He went His way.” (Luke 4:25-30 NKJV) Galatians 3:1-13 - "Supplies" here mean CONSTANTLY supplying. God is constantly supplying the Spirit to you, and it doesn't run out. The presence of occult or satanic items or symbols doesn't hinder God from supplying the Spirit to us. When Peter preached to Cornelius and his household, there were most likely Roman emblems and symbols/statues related to the worship of Caesar in the house. That did not stop Cornelius and his household from receiving the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues. If we believe in what Abraham believed in, that we are made righteous by faith, we will get the results of Galatians 3:5. The Law is holy, but it is rigid and inflexible. It cannot bend over to help you, if not it is no longer the Law. On the other hand, Jesus is holy and He can help you. If you want to be justified by the Law, you have to keep ALL the commandments - trying your best is not enough. Once you place yourself under the Law, you are under the curse. “O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified? This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh? Have you suffered so many things in vain—if indeed it was in vain? Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?— just as Abraham “believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.” So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham. For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.” But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.” Yet the law is not of faith, but “the man who does them shall live by them.” Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),” (Galatians 3:1-13 NKJV) ![]()
Romans 7:4-6 - You can't obey the Law for the purpose of sanctification (some people argue that they don't obey the Law for justification, but instead for sanctification). Only when you're dead to the Law, then can you bear fruit to God. Christians can be under the curse when they take their position as being under the Law - being under the curse is like putting your possessions into a bag of holes. “Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another—to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God. For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death. But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.”(Romans 7:4-6 NKJV) Walk your way to better health this year. Earlier this year, Pastor Prince received a word from God saying: "Tell my people to walk and they will get better and better (in terms of physical health)." Learn to eat without the Law - Even without your mother's law of "Finish all your food and don't leave anything on the plate". Some people feel guilty if they don't finish all the food on their plate. They think thoughts like "Think about all the starving children in Yemen..." God is big enough to take care of your wastage. We need to learn to follow the Spirit, not the Law. Laws are needed to keep order in society, but it doesn't produce heart transformation. When society falls into anarchy, it goes into chaos because people manifest what's in their hearts. The Law only curbs their outsides. The gospel transforms from the inside. Romans 4:1-5 - God justifies the UNGODLY. God is righteous in justifying the ungodly because of what Christ has done. It is not the one who works but the one who believes that is justified and under grace. This portion of scripture is talking about justification in God's eyes. “What then shall we say that Abraham our father has found according to the flesh? For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt. But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness,” (Romans 4:1-5 NKJV) Romans 11:6 - Grace and works (the Law) are antithesis. If it's by works, then it is no longer grace. “And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.” (Romans 11:6 NKJV) James 2:14-26 - The portion in James that says "Faith without works in dead" is talking about justification in man's eyes, not about justification in God's eyes. It is saying that if you are saved, you will eventually do things that will cause the world to say "wow, he/she is truly saved!" When did Abraham believe God? It happened years before Isaac was even born! Abraham was made righteous by believing God before Isaac was even born, not by his works. “What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” (James 2:14-26 NKJV) Hebrews 11:7 - Noah is the first person recorded in the Bible who was made righteous through faith. “By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.” (Hebrews 11:7 NKJV) II Peter 2:5-6 - This is the eventual fate of the world. We believers are preachers of righteousness and we can go out there to share the gospel with the world and get them saved. “and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly;” (II Peter 2:5-6 NKJV) I hope that you have been blessed by reading this post on "10 July 2016 - Possess Your Victory Over The Enemy - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online".
