1) When you can’t see the future ahead, you just need to do the next right thing.

This is wise! Life is to be lived like this—step by step, day by day, moment by moment, so that the challenges don’t overwhelm us.

Notice that it says “right” thing and not anything that you feel like doing. Your way out of a crisis is to wisely take small right actions and not allow yourself to spiral down to depression.

Do what Anna did. Amidst the darkness and loss, she picked herself up, took small steps and thought of a plan.

1) We don’t get to play God by deciding who deserves to live or die. Live with integrity and a clear conscience and you will... live long.

I love that in this movie all the self-righteous characters like Teresa, Chancellor Paige, Director Janson and Lawrence who do wicked deeds suffer terrible deaths, whereas the innocent ones who don’t get involved in the violence and manipulation are the ones who survive and live in the safe haven in the end.

A beautiful story of how good always triumphs over evil and that it’s better to do things the right way than to try and achieve a goal through underhand methods.

DC's Justice League Movie 2017 Leading Cast:

Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne (The Batman)
Gal Gadot as Diana Prince (Wonder Woman)

Ezra Miller as Barry Allen (The Flash)
Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry (Aquaman)
Ray Fisher as Victor Stone (Cyborg)
Ciaran Hinds as Steppenwolf

1) Saving the world can’t be done alone. It takes a league.

Diana Prince
: People said the Age of Heroes would never come again.

Bruce Wayne: It has to. We don't have any more time!

Despite their strong abilities, none of the superheroes could save the world from the alien threat alone.

It took a joint effort by the team, all leveraging on each other’s strengths and powers to successfully stop Steppenwolf and the unity of the mother boxes from destroying the earth.

To accomplish great feats, it truly takes a team effort.

5 Life Lessons and Moral Value in Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok Movie 2017 (Starring Chris Hemsworth as Thor The God of Thunder)

  • Odin: Asgard is not a place, it's a people. And its people need your help.

Leading Cast of Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok 2017

Chris Hemsworth as Thor the God of Thunder
Cate Blanchett as Hela the Goddess of Death
Tom Hiddleston as Loki the God of Mischief
Tessa Thompson as the Valkyrie (also Scrapper 142)
Mark Ruffalo as the Incredible Hulk
Idris Elba as Heimdall
Karl Urban as the Executioner
Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster

Anthony Hopkins as Odin
Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange

1) The source of our ability to overcome the challenges in life doesn't come from our possessions - it resides within us.

  • Thor: She's too powerful, I have no hammer.
  • Odin: What are you, Thor, god of hammers?

During the final showdown between Thor and Hela, Hela initially overpowered Thor and taunted him.

She mockingly asked him what is he the god of, and that triggered an inner vision within Thor:
Speaking to Odin, Thor despaired that without his hammer Mjolnir, he was unable to defeat Hela.

But when Odin reminded Thor that Thor was the God of Thunder, that the hammer was just for focusing the power and wasn’t the source of the power, Thor was able to unleash the full force of electricity within him to deal a powerful, paralyzing blow to Hela.

When we learn to stop deriving our strength, identity and worth from our outward possessions, that’s when we can develop the strength of character from within!

5 Life Lessons and Moral Value from Pennywise the Dancing Clown in Stephen King's It 2017 Movie

Pennywise the Dancing Clown: "You'll Float Down Here, We All Float Down Here, Yes We Do!"

Leading Cast of Stephen King's It 2017 Movie:
Bill Skarsgård as Pennywise the Dancing Clown (a.k.a. "It")
Jaeden Lieberher as Bill Denbrough
Finn Wolfhard as Richie Tozier
Jeremy Ray Taylor as Ben Hanscom
Sophia Lillis as Beverly Marsh
Jack Dylan Grazer as Eddie Kaspbrak
Chosen Jacobs as Mike Hanlon
Wyatt Oleff as Stanley Uris
Jackson Robert Scott as Georgie Denbrough

First off, I want to clarify that the movie is directed by Andy Muschietti and is based on the bestselling novel "It" that was written by Stephen King.
Now that it's clear, let's begin with the post :)

1) Everyone is afraid of something.

Bill: "I saw something. There was this…"
Eddie: "A clown. Yeah, I saw him too."

Pennywise the Dancing Clown preyed on the fears of the kids in the "Losers Club":
Bill was afraid that his little brother Georgie was dead.
Richie was afraid of clowns (how convenient for Pennywise!).
Eddie was afraid of germs, sickness and disease.
Beverly was feeling afraid as she just started to have her period.
Ben was afraid of the headless boy in the history book.
Mike was haunted by the memory of his parents burning to death in the meat factory.

What are you most afraid of? Feel free to share it in the comments below!

Marvel's The Defenders Leading Cast:

Charlie Cox as Matthew Murdock (Daredevil)
Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones
Mike Colter as Luke Cage
Finn Jones as Danny Rand (The Iron Fist)
Elodie Yung as Elektra Natchios (The Black Sky)
Sigourney Weaver as Alexandra
Wai Ching Ho as Madame Gao
Yutaka Takeuchi as Mirukami
Ramon Rodriguez as Bakuto
Babs Olusanmokun as Sowande
Scott Glen as Stick
Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing
Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple
Simone Missick as Misty Knight

1) Most Disagreements in Life are Due to Differences in Perspective.

Luke Cage and Danny Rand (The Ironfist) were arguing over Cole.
Luke believed that Cole was just a boy struggling to make some money to survive on the streets and that he shouldn't be blamed.

On the other hand, Danny believed that Cole deserved what he got because he was working for The Hand.

Both of them were in disagreement because of their differences in perspective - Luke lived in the same neighborhood as Cole, whereas Danny was a billionaire and had power from the day he was born.

If we learn to see things from other's perspectives, we will be less prone to getting into unnecessary arguments.

5 Life Lessons and Moral Value in Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming 2017 Movie (Starring Tom Holland)

Spider-Man: Homecoming Cast:

Tom Holland as Peter Parker (Spider-Man)
Michael Keaton as Adrian Toomes (Vulture)
Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark (Iron Man)
Marisa Tomei as May Parker
Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan
Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts
Zendaya as Michelle
Jacob Batalon as Ned
Laura Harrier as Liz

1) Trust the training and learning process. When you're ready you'll be promoted to the next level.

Peter Parker (Spider-Man) thought that he was ready to be an Avenger. He didn't know that he still had so much to learn.

By disabling the "Training Wheels Protocol" on the Spider-Man suit, he messed up because he couldn't handle the new features of the suit at its full potential.

He should have just waited for Tony Stark (Iron Man) or Happy Hogan to give him his next mission before trying to do really dangerous stuff like taking down the Vulture (Adrian Toomes).

Sometimes we may feel frustrated that we seem to be stuck and are not moving forward in life.
There's probably a lesson to be learnt in our current situation, and once we learn it, only then can we be promoted to the next level.

2) If you're single and you like someone, keep it simple. Tell them. Chances are, they like you too.

Peter Parker (Spider-Man) had a major crush on Liz but he had too many worries on his mind stopping him from telling her.

He was worried that she would find out that he was Spider-Man and be disappointed that it's just him.

Only after he lost the Spider-Man suit did he manage to muster up the courage to tell Liz that he liked her and to invite her to be his homecoming partner.

There were already a few signs earlier in the movie which hinted that Liz felt the same way about Peter (for example: the nighttime swim scene when she said that he's the smartest guy she knows).

All he had to do was to tell her how he felt. If you're in the same position, why not just tell that special someone that you like him/her?

3) When dealing with teenagers, really listen to what they have to say. Brushing them off results in negative consequences.

Tony Stark (Iron Man) and Happy Hogan were unaware that by shrugging Peter Parker (Spider-Man) off like he didn't matter, Peter would try to prove his worth.

He is a teenager after all and wants to be treated with respect like an adult. All they probably had to do was to have a conversation with Peter and listen to what he had to say.

If they had done that, the Washington Monument disaster probably would be avoided, and the ferry wouldn't have been split in two either.

When dealing with teenagers, we have to listen properly to what they have to say. Sometimes all they want is to be heard and not feel like they're invisible.
If we can learn to listen, many possible negative consequences can be prevented.

Picture

4) Sometimes people lie to themselves that they're doing others a favor, when actually it's for themselves.

When Peter Parker (Spider-Man) tracked Vulture (Adrian Toomes) down to his lair to apprehend him, Vulture said that everything he was building was to leave a legacy for his daughter.

What he said after that showed clearly that it wasn't true.
He said that the rich and powerful people at the top of society get to have the best of everything and that people like him only get the remaining scraps.

He was just ambitious and wanting to be in that position of power to do whatever he wants like a tyrant. It was a selfish motivation.

Sometimes when we make certain decisions, we may tell ourselves that it's for this or that person, when deep down, we're hiding that it's actually for ourselves.
Such decisions can potentially be very damaging if they are allowed to continue.

Picture
You are reading: 5 Life Lessons and Moral Value in Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming 2017 Movie (Starring Tom Holland)

5) We need to know when to call it a day. Taking a step back for now is better than losing everything due to impulsiveness.

When the plane was going to crash-land due to the damage sustained, Vulture (Adrian Toomes) refused to escape without at least taking something from the precious cargo onboard the plane.

His inability to let go cost him dearly - his Vulture suit malfunctioned and exploded, he did not get any of the loot, and he was arrested and sentenced to prison.

Of course I'm not advocating criminal acts or how to be a smart criminal, but what I'm saying is that sometimes we have to discern when to let go.

If we hold on too tightly, we may hurt ourselves and everyone around us in the process. I
f we manage to let go, our hands are open and free to receive something better.

5 Life Lessons and Moral Value in "Wonder Woman" 2017 DC Movie - What Diana Prince the Amazon Princess Teaches Us

Leading Cast:

Gal Gadot as Diana Prince (Wonder Woman)
Chris Pine as Steve Trevor
David Thewlis as Ares (God of War)
Connie Nielsen as Hippolyta
Robin Wright as Antiope
Danny Huston as General Ludendorff
Elena Anaya as Doctor Poison

1) It's not about what you deserve, it's about what you believe. You can choose to love and love will conquer all evil.

In the epic final battle between Diana Prince (Wonder Woman) and Ares, Ares tried to provoke Diana into killing Doctor Poison.

He claimed that humans did not deserve Diana's protection.

Diana replied that it's not about what you deserve, but about what you believe.

After experiencing love with Steve Trevor, she chose to love and protect the humans unconditionally even though they can be corrupt, greedy, selfish and evil.

Through the power of love, Diana's abilities and strength were enhanced and she defeated Ares with an epic blast, turning his own electrical attack against himself.

5 Life Lessons and Moral Value in "Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge" Disney Movie (Dead Men Tell No Tales)

Leading Cast:

Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow
Orlando Bloom as Will Turner
Javier Bardem as Captain Salazar
Kaya Scodelario as Carina Smyth
Geoffrey Rush as Hector Barbossa
Brenton Thwaites as Henry Turner
Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Swann

1) Most people will abandon you if you have no more use to them, especially if you're poor and left with nothing.

When Jack Sparrow was down on his 'luck' and had no ship or money, his crew abandoned him, leaving him completely alone. Even Master Gibbs, his long-time trusted crew member left him.

The crew only came back to save Jack from execution because they were paid by Henry Turner to do so.

This brings to mind a verse from the Book of Proverbs: "All the brothers of a poor man hate him; How much more do his friends abandon him! He pursues them with words, but they are gone." (Proverbs 19:7 NASB)

5 Life Lessons and Moral Value in Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" Movie

Leading Cast:

Chris Pratt as Peter Quill (aka Star-Lord)
Vin Diesel as Groot
Zoe Saldana as Gamora
Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer
Bradley Cooper as Rocket
Karen Gillian as Nebula
Michael Rooker as Yondu
Kurt Russell as Ego the Living Planet

1) Happiness comes when you value love more than power.

When Peter Quill learnt from his biological father "Ego the Living Planet" that he was a Celestial - immortal as long as the light continued to shine on planet Ego, he was excited and fantasized about all the weird and wonderful things he would use his powers to create.

However when he realised Ego's evil plans to destroy the universe, Peter was readily prepared to destroy Ego and to give up his immortality to protect his friends and the universe.

Choosing to protect the people he loved and cared about made him happier than the power that he inherited on Planet Ego did.
