Pastor Joseph Prince said that this is one of the most important messages that he will ever preach. This is a message that will keep on giving, and bless you in every area of your life. This is a message that can mean between life and death. Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds from God. God wants us to get back to the culture of keeping on hearing the word of God. He doesn't want us to continue being robbed. 1 Kings 3:8-13 - Solomon was about 17 to 20 years old at this point in time. His father had just died. King Solomon asked God for a hearing heart, and this pleased the Lord. When you ask God for a hearing heart, God will give you bonuses - even good things that you have not asked for. King Solomon was the first trillionaire in the Bible. The temple of Solomon that Solomon built is worth today about US$5 Billion. It's a simple prayer: Ask God for a hearing heart. “And Your servant is in the midst of Your people whom You have chosen, a great people, too numerous to be numbered or counted. Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?” The speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing. Then God said to him: “Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked long life for yourself, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice, behold, I have done according to your words; see, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has not been anyone like you before you, nor shall any like you arise after you. And I have also given you what you have not asked: both riches and honor, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the kings all your days.” (I Kings 3:8-13 NKJV) One of the signs that a person has received wisdom is that he/she loves to be in the house of God, and relishes the presence of God. In Psalm 51, King David said to God "Don't take your presence from me". Of all things he could ask for, he asked for that. He had wisdom. The things of the world are frothy, while the things of God are weighty. King Solomon even listened to the two prostitutes that disputed over a child. We need to hear the voice of God in our spouse, family members, and friends who care about you. There is safety in the local church. Solomon's wisdom even excelled that of Adam. Adam could name and remember all the names of the animals in the Garden of Eden. Jesus said that One greater than Solomon is here (He was referring to Himself). The secular experts say that we only use one-tenth of our brain power. The nine spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit completes the other nine-tenth! Matthew 6:25-30 - The lilies of the field are clothed from within - it is true growth, whereas Solomon's glory was external - it was added upon him. If it is all taken away, man is nothing. Jesus told us: do not worry. ““Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?” (Matthew 6:25-30 NKJV)

Pastor Prince shared a testimony of a lady who attends New Creation Church in Singapore, who was caught in a terrible car accident and miraculously, she escaped with no injuries. She was listening to Pastor Prince's sermon CD playing in her car, and in the wreckage of the car after the accident, Pastor Prince's sermon was still playing. When you are listening to the word of God, it seems like the devil can't even kill you. Romans 10:17 - Faith comes by hearing and hearing (repeatedly) the word of God. You can't just live on the memory of the word of God. You have to keep hearing it. The number one way that God speaks to you is through the word of God (the Bible). “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17 NKJV) Romans 10:14 - Context is king. If you take the text out of context, all you're left with is a con. Hearing the word of God in Romans 10:17 doesn't means hearing God speak to you in your heart. It means hearing the word of God in the Bible being preached. “How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?” (Romans 10:14 NKJV) When the devil attacks your body, he doesn't just do it once a week. He tries to attack you everyday. You ought to listen to the word of God everyday. The word of God is a sword that slices your tumors off. The world tries to get miracles in a difficult way. But God's miracles are received in a simple way : listening to the word of God. Get back to the way of God. Listen to the word of God and when you take communion, you will have the faith to receive your healing. God's ways of delivering miracles is by preaching. Someone is preaching and someone is hearing. If you believe that God has planted you in this church, then you have to eat the food of the house as your staple food - listen to Pastor Prince's sermons as your main source of spiritual food. There's no food like home-cooked food. One of the devil's methods of distraction is to flood you with such an abundance of information (so that you are spoiled for choice) that you forget what you were looking for in the first place. An example: The Internet that has so many links that hooks you from one page to another, and you forget what you were searching for in the first place. Mary was the only woman who anointed Jesus before He went to the cross. What she did for Jesus is memorialised eternally. She did the right thing at the right time because she listened to Jesus. While Martha busied herself with serving Jesus, Mary chose the better part - to sit at Jesus' feet and listen to Jesus. I Corinthians 1:21 - The methodology of God delivering His miracles is the simple way of preaching. The word "save" is the Hebrew word "sozo", which is an all-encompassing word meaning healing, wholeness, deliverance, health, etc. “For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.” (I Corinthians 1:21 NKJV) Luke 5:15 - Jesus would always preach first and healing would take place as the people heard him. When He is preaching, people are hearing. And when they are hearing, they are getting healed. “However, the report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities.” (Luke 5:15 NKJV) Mark 4:14-20 - Satan doesn't even allow one day to pass before he snatches the word of God away from people's hearts. He is afraid of God's word taking root in people's hearts. The longer the word of God remains in a person's heart, the deeper the roots go. When God's word begins to take root in your heart, the devil may send sickness or other attacks your way to try to make you give up on that revelation. Keep on hearing the word of God, until you receive the hundredfold manifestation that you desire. “The sower sows the word. And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts. These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness; and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble. Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.”” (Mark 4:14-20 NKJV) People have been robbed of the culture of hearing the word of God. Even if you already know about healing, grace, etc, God still wants you to keep on hearing the word of God. Jesus would always preach first and healing would take place as the people heard him. When He is preaching, people are hearing. And when they are hearing, they are getting healed.
Galatians 3:1-3 - "Bewitched" is referring to the spiritual deception of preaching that you need to keep the Law. The way that you receive moral excellence is by walking in the spirit. Whatever the Law demands, grace transcends! Only when you're dead to the Law (the Ten Commandments), can you live in moral excellence. When you're dead to the Law, the righteousness of the Law is fulfilled not by us, but IN us! The more you try to keep the Law, the more you will fail to do so. As you are hearing God's word being preached, you will receive your supply from God. “O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified? This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh?” (Galatians 3:1-3 NKJV) Galatians 3:5 - God is constantly supplying you with the Holy Spirit and is constantly working miracles among you, as you hear and keep on hearing the word of God being preached! This verse tells us that it is not by the works of the Law that God delivers miracles, but it is by hearing the word of God being preached. You would think that this should be the central verse of every healing conference. “Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?—” (Galatians 3:5 NKJV) Miracles have nothing to do with time, knowledge or medicine. Miracle means 'bang!' and it happens to you. Pastor Prince says that he is just a delivery boy. God is the One who is working the miracles. In USA, there are many people who listen to Pastor Prince's sermons every day - morning, afternoon and at night. Many of the testimonies that Pastor Prince reads from the stage is from people in USA. In Singapore, there are people attending New Creation Church who think that attending church and listening to Pastor Prince preach once a week is enough. Pastor Prince says that he is jealous for his congregation - we should listen to the word of God being preached every day too! Mark 5:25-27 - This woman was sick and broke (she spent all her money on treatments for her condition). She heard about Jesus - His love, goodness, kindness, princeliness, etc. - that's how her healing began. “Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment.” (Mark 5:25-27 NKJV) Modern technology is supposed to help us to save time, but instead we have lost time. Use your iPods to listen to God's word being preached! A pod contains seeds. God's words are seeds. This generation is supposed to be the generation that hears God's word the most. Acts 14:7-10 - The man kept on hearing Paul preach the gospel. When you are hearing God's word, faith will be imparted to you. “And they were preaching the gospel there. And in Lystra a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting, a cripple from his mother’s womb, who had never walked. This man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed, said with a loud voice, “Stand up straight on your feet!” And he leaped and walked.” (Acts 14:7-10 NKJV) Acts 14:3 - Paul was preaching God's grace. God bore witness to the word of grace being preached with signs and wonders! “Therefore they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, who was bearing witness to the word of His grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands.” (Acts 14:3 NKJV) Acts 13:38-39 - This is a word-by-word documentation of what Paul preached. Paul knew that if he preached a full, unqualified gospel, it would produce the result of repentance without him needing to say the word "repent". “Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.” (Acts 13:38-39 NKJV) There is a miracle with your name on it. It happens when you are hearing, not when you are working. Psalm 36:9 - Regardless of which sermon you are listening to, the light of God's word will help you see better to know what you need. “For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light.” (Psalms 36:9 NKJV) Psalm 119:130 - In God's light, we see light. In God's light we can see what we need. “The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.” (Psalms 119:130 NKJV) Isaiah 50:4-7 - This is a Messianic psalm (it is about Jesus). When you are hearing God's word, you will speak a word in season. Whatever your calling in life is, you will be successful if you keep listening to God's word. It is very rare to find a person who can speak a word in season. Our first priority in the morning should be to hear the word of God being preached. ““The Lord GOD has given Me The tongue of the learned, That I should know how to speak A word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear To hear as the learned. The Lord GOD has opened My ear; And I was not rebellious, Nor did I turn away. I gave My back to those who struck Me, And My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard; I did not hide My face from shame and spitting. “For the Lord GOD will help Me; Therefore I will not be disgraced; Therefore I have set My face like a flint, And I know that I will not be ashamed.” (Isaiah 50:4-7 NKJV)
