20 September 2015 - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online - God Is Our Rewarder And Our Exceedingly Great Reward! When God gives fame, it is for the gospel to be made known to more people. If you believe that you have the right interpretation of Scripture, then let God give you the reach, favor and influence. We are the ones who robbed God of His glory, but Jesus has restored to God 120% more praise, honor and glory! "Much more" is mentioned 5 times in Romans 5. Jesus's death has restored to us much more good things than before Adam's sin in the Garden of Eden. Grace is all about the Lord Jesus, not about you and I. Pastors are shepherds who are not above their congregation, but they are under their congregation, pushing them up towards the Lord Jesus. Long before the devil can rob you of your blessings, he comes as the "accuser", not the killer. 1 Corinthians 15:10 - Is there a difference between "grace" and "rewards"? Grace is the unmerited favor of God towards us. If God has given you the grace to do something, God will reward you for flowing in the grace that He has given you. Example, if God releases favor on you to be in a children's ministry, you will be given the love for children and the ability to serve, from God. "“But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.” (I Corinthians 15:10 NKJV) How do you reward employees in your company of you are the boss of a company/ organization? If you see a person producing more fruits in the company, it means that he is flowing with the grace that has been given to him/her from God. Give that person more rewards. If you are defined by material wealth, you are a poor person. True wealth is being defined by your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Sandcastles Don't Last Forever

This is the eBook version. If you prefer to get the Paperback version (physical copy), you can get it on Amazon here for US$15. About the Book: One day when I was singing praises to God, an image floated up in my spirit: a big and beautiful sandcastle being washed away by the waves from the sea. God was teaching me the futility of holding tightly onto worldly possessions because like the sandcastle, they won't last, and one day will cease to exist. He taught me from His word to focus on Him and by doing so, I would reap great eternal rewards before Jesus' throne at the start of the Millennium. These rewards will last forever and can't be destroyed or stolen. It is my prayer that the revelations in this book will help you to live with a focus on the things above where God is, fulfill your God-given calling in life, be happier and to accumulate more eternal rewards to your account. In this Book, you will learn about: - Heavenly investment advice and the futility of worldly pursuits from a trillionaire in the Bible - Why God has to reward us in order to be righteous - When and how God will destroy the current earth and sky to make way for new ones - The types of fireproof works that earn eternal rewards at the end of time - The abundant rewards of doing good works while abiding by the non-disclosure agreement between God and you - The difference between the temporary places of torment: Sheol and Abaddon - Who is the Antichrist and his name revealed in the Bible - What is the Mark of the Beast and why it disqualifies its recipients from receiving salvation - The different judgments at the throne of Jesus Christ and what it means for you as a believer - How to fulfill your calling and maximize your gifts to receive the best eternal rewards Testimonials about the contents of this book: "Sandcastles Don't Last Forever is very well written, its message loud and clear. Milton Goh gives common-sense insight on often confusing Scripture, which is much appreciated in these troubled times. My understanding of the Bible has definitely improved." - Mike Garrett, first Editor/ Publisher for Stephen King and Author of Christian Novel "Innocence Denied", from USA "This book is absolutely breathtaking. We don't work to be saved but were created to do good works. I am so energized and excited to know God values our works and we will be rewarded. This is all Glory to Jesus... I cant wait to throw my crowns at his feet and thank him for saving my life!" - Evangelist Michael Clark from USA "Dear Milton Goh, I truly thank our Abba, Father for the revelations in this book. It is so amazing how I begin to discover important verses in the Bible that I have never read. That instead of following riches, with sleepless nights, and actually shortening our lives, we are just to 'Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ', and 'Love one another'. How beautiful to find out that actually in the Bible there is both 'Earthly or Worldly Investment Wisdom' and 'Eternal Investment Wisdom' according to the revelations here from Ecclesiastes 5:14-17 WEB)!; “It seems like Solomon was not only wise at earning material riches but also at earning eternal riches.” All the glory to our Lord Jesus Christ! God bless you Milton Goh for such a wonderful book!" - Nitta Nierra from Belgium “Thank you Milton. I have just finished reading “Sandcastles Don’t Last Forever”. It’s such a good book that's filled with God's word. I love it very much. Might read again if I have the time. Thanks so much!” - Mally Chai from Singapore "I'm reading this book and loving it! The revelations of the Gospel truth shared and it's life applications are absolutely amazing! I give glory to the Lord Jesus for my dear brother Milton for this exceptional resource. I'm gonna keep feeding on its contents and believe God for supernatural breakthroughs as my mind is renewed in Christ!" - Terence from Tombel, Cameroon “Excellent book!! I enjoyed reading it so much and definitely recommend it! Milton is so gifted and all his teachings have blessed me tremendously! I thank God for people like him. Get this book, it will be worth it!” - Madeleine from SA, “Unmerited Favor” tier patron * The PDF file of this eBook will be sent to you via email manually after your purchase is confirmed. Hebrews 11:6 - "comes to God" is in the present tense, so we are asked to keep coming to God. God is a Rewarder. “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6 NKJV) If you have any heart towards Christ, it is because God drew you to Him. Hebrews 10:35-36 - You will have a great reward! Keep on believing. Don't cast away your confidence. Your reward will be manifested in the future! "“Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:” (Hebrews 10:35-36 NKJV) Hebrews 11:24-26 - Moses looked to the reward from God! He considered it greater than the treasures in Egypt. “By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward.” (Hebrews 11:24-26 NKJV) Hebrews 11:5-6 - There are three people who did not die. Enoch who was taken away to be with God. Moses's body couldn't be found. Elijah was taken up in a whirlwind in a chariot of fire. "“By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:5-6 NKJV) Lazarus was resurrected to die again, but Jesus was raised to life never to die again! Matthew 19:27 - Peter asked this question. “Then Peter answered and said to Him, “See, we have left all and followed You. Therefore what shall we have?”” (Matthew 19:27 NKJV) Mark 10:28-30 - The traditional teaching in church is that we will not be rewarded on earth but only in heaven. But this verse says that we will receive a hundredfold NOW IN THIS TIME if you give something up for Jesus's sake or the gospel's sake! “Then Peter began to say to Him, “See, we have left all and followed You.” So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.” (Mark 10:28-30 NKJV) Psalms 127:3 - Children are both a gift and a reward. Example, Sarah believed God that she would have a child even though she was old. Her child is a reward from God for her belief in God's promise. “Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward.” (Psalms 127:3 NKJV) 2 Kings 4:12-17 - Many of the listeners of this message will embrace a son or daughter this time next year. This is a now word for you. “Then he said to Gehazi his servant, “Call this Shunammite woman.” When he had called her, she stood before him. And he said to him, “Say now to her, ‘Look, you have been concerned for us with all this care. What can I do for you? Do you want me to speak on your behalf to the king or to the commander of the army?’ ” She answered, “I dwell among my own people.” So he said, “What then is to be done for her?” And Gehazi answered, “Actually, she has no son, and her husband is old.” So he said, “Call her.” When he had called her, she stood in the doorway. Then he said, “About this time next year you shall embrace a son.” And she said, “No, my lord. Man of God, do not lie to your maidservant!” But the woman conceived, and bore a son when the appointed time had come, of which Elisha had told her.” (II Kings 4:12-17 NKJV) It is possible to be preaching for the wrong reasons - for money, for self recognition etc. Pastors, don't use the church for you. Let yourself be used by the church. Is there a reward for being obedient to your parents? David obeyed his father Jesse. His simple step of obedience led him to the throne of Israel. 1 Samuel 17:24-27 - There are three benefits for him who kills Goliath - great riches, the hand of the princess in marriage, and his father's house will be exempted from paying taxes in Israel. David was motivated by the reward as well. “And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him and were dreadfully afraid. So the men of Israel said, “Have you seen this man who has come up? Surely he has come up to defy Israel; and it shall be that the man who kills him the king will enrich with great riches, will give him his daughter, and give his father’s house exemption from taxes in Israel.” Then David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying, “What shall be done for the man who kills this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?” And the people answered him in this manner, saying, “So shall it be done for the man who kills him.”” (I Samuel 17:24-27 NKJV) Always flow with God. Don't just relocate because of career opportunities. Pray about it and move with God's guidance. Ruth 2:1-12 - The name "Boaz" means "in him there is strength". Every time you trust in God's favor, 'happenings' will happen to you. We will obtain a full reward from God because we have come to God for refuge. We will be repaid for putting our trust in Him. God will find every excuse to bless us! “There was a relative of Naomi’s husband, a man of great wealth, of the family of Elimelech. His name was Boaz. So Ruth the Moabitess said to Naomi, “Please let me go to the field, and glean heads of grain after him in whose sight I may find favor.” And she said to her, “Go, my daughter.” Then she left, and went and gleaned in the field after the reapers. And she happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the family of Elimelech. Now behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem, and said to the reapers, “The LORD be with you!” And they answered him, “The LORD bless you!” Then Boaz said to his servant who was in charge of the reapers, “Whose young woman is this?” So the servant who was in charge of the reapers answered and said, “It is the young Moabite woman who came back with Naomi from the country of Moab. And she said, ‘Please let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves.’ So she came and has continued from morning until now, though she rested a little in the house.” Then Boaz said to Ruth, “You will listen, my daughter, will you not? Do not go to glean in another field, nor go from here, but stay close by my young women. Let your eyes be on the field which they reap, and go after them. Have I not commanded the young men not to touch you? And when you are thirsty, go to the vessels and drink from what the young men have drawn.” So she fell on her face, bowed down to the ground, and said to him, “Why have I found favor in your eyes, that you should take notice of me, since I am a foreigner?” And Boaz answered and said to her, “It has been fully reported to me, all that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband, and how you have left your father and your mother and the land of your birth, and have come to a people whom you did not know before. The LORD repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge.”” (Ruth 2:1-12 NKJV) Proverbs 3:1-8 - Spend time in God's word. It will refresh you. It will be health to your flesh! “My son, do not forget my law, But let your heart keep my commands; For length of days and long life And peace they will add to you. Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart, And so find favor and high esteem In the sight of God and man. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.” (Proverbs 3:1-8 NKJV) You won't find God's name being mentioned in the Book of Esther. God's name is coded and hidden in the Book of Esther. During the time of Esther, the people of Israel were praying to the Gentile's gods, and they had abandoned the God of Israel. Haman was a descendant of the Amalekites. Mordecai refused to bow to Haman. Haman devised an evil plan to destroy the Jews. Haman received the permission from the King of Persia to exterminate the Jews. The King of Persia's orders cannot be reversed. 13 is the number of evil in the Bible. Esther 5:13-6:12 - God may seem late, but He's always on time. Don't always think that insomnia is from the devil. What Haman intended for himself, was given as a reward to Mordecai instead, and Haman was totally humiliated in the process. “Yet all this avails me nothing, so long as I see Mordecai the Jew sitting at the king’s gate.” Then his wife Zeresh and all his friends said to him, “Let a gallows be made, fifty cubits high, and in the morning suggest to the king that Mordecai be hanged on it; then go merrily with the king to the banquet.” And the thing pleased Haman; so he had the gallows made. That night the king could not sleep. So one was commanded to bring the book of the records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king. And it was found written that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s eunuchs, the doorkeepers who had sought to lay hands on King Ahasuerus. Then the king said, “What honor or dignity has been bestowed on Mordecai for this?” And the king’s servants who attended him said, “Nothing has been done for him.” So the king said, “Who is in the court?” Now Haman had just entered the outer court of the king’s palace to suggest that the king hang Mordecai on the gallows that he had prepared for him. The king’s servants said to him, “Haman is there, standing in the court.” And the king said, “Let him come in.” So Haman came in, and the king asked him, “What shall be done for the man whom the king delights to honor?” Now Haman thought in his heart, “Whom would the king delight to honor more than me?” And Haman answered the king, “ For the man whom the king delights to honor, let a royal robe be brought which the king has worn, and a horse on which the king has ridden, which has a royal crest placed on its head. Then let this robe and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king’s most noble princes, that he may array the man whom the king delights to honor. Then parade him on horseback through the city square, and proclaim before him: ‘Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!’ ” Then the king said to Haman, “Hurry, take the robe and the horse, as you have suggested, and do so for Mordecai the Jew who sits within the king’s gate! Leave nothing undone of all that you have spoken.” So Haman took the robe and the horse, arrayed Mordecai and led him on horseback through the city square, and proclaimed before him, “Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!” Afterward Mordecai went back to the king’s gate. But Haman hurried to his house, mourning and with his head covered.” (Esther 5:13-6:12 NKJV) God can move with the smallest things to change great events. Moses's story - A weak little baby's cry in the River Nile changed history in Egypt. Esther 6:13 - Haman did not take the advice of his wife and in the end he hung on the gallows which he had prepared for Mordecai. “When Haman told his wife Zeresh and all his friends everything that had happened to him, his wise men and his wife Zeresh said to him, “If Mordecai, before whom you have begun to fall, is of Jewish descent, you will not prevail against him but will surely fall before him.”” (Esther 6:13 NKJV) When good things happen to you, say that it is because of God's grace. Don't fall into pride and become self-occupied. It is not for us to say that we are being rewarded for what we have done. Genesis 15:1 - The Lord Jesus is our exceedingly great reward!! “After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”” (Genesis 15:1 NKJV) Every demon in hell hates the Jewish people because they are God's chosen people. Luke 5:3-11 - God sees everything that you have done for Him. Do everything as unto the Lord, for Him. You don't need recognition from man, but from God. God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love for Him. “Then He got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat. When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.” And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!” For he and all who were with him were astonished at the catch of fish which they had taken; and so also were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, “Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men.” So when they had brought their boats to land, they forsook all and followed Him.” (Luke 5:3-11 NKJV) Give a Love Gift
