Still - Hillsong Music John 15:16 - Pastor Marilyn Hickey gave Pastor Lian this verse seven years ago. “You didn’t choose me, but I chose you and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.” (John 15:16 WEBUS) The first thing God did to Adam and Eve is to bless them. He declared, “Be fruitful and multiply.” God is releasing His blessing onto us. To be fruitful (in Hebrew: parah) means to see growth and increase in your life. The Hebrew word that was translated as “multiply” is “rabah”: enlarge, plenteous, to make great. 3 John 1:2 - The key to be fruitful and multiply is to have a soul that is prosperous. The soul is the mind, will, and emotions. We will have mental and emotional well-being. We will have the supernatural ability to choose life and not death. Choose life in your relationships. You will be empowered to avoid toxic relationships and avoid unnecessary arguments with your spouse. You don’t have to wish for life to get easier. The soul prosperity will give you supernatural contentment amidst the trouble. Your soul is not tagged to external circumstances, but to the person of Jesus Christ, His finished work at the cross, and His love for you. Jesus is the anchor of your soul. “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.” (3 John 1:2 WEBUS)
